Remember Britt The Ruler, the female artist who featured Khaligraph Jones on Bounce? Well, she’s back with a new hit song dubbed Unbothered, a song she composed to pay homage to her home town Victoria.
Judging from the well written bars and of course the rhymes proves that Britt the Ruler put in some extra effort in Unbothered. And just like her previous song featuring Khaligraph Jones – let’s just say Britt the ruler was born to compose to drop bars because she’s clearly not your average rapper.
So far the celebrated rapper has made a name for herself abroad and she now appears to have tapped into the African market; which explains her upcoming tour to Kenya where she is set to perform and also work on a few projects in her community.
Her song comes at a time where Eric Omondi criticized the music scene as he claims the Kenyan music industry is dead.
According to Eric Omondi, Kenyan artists have always been used to curtain raise for Nigerian musicians (which is true) yet they can actually do better by putting themselves first.
Well, truth is – this has been happening for the longest time now; but having artists like Britt show what Kenyan talent looks like – do you think such talent should be used to curtain raise? Watch the captivating unbothered video below.
