Cebbie Nyasego Sets Her Sights on Politics

Elseba Awour, better known as Cebbie Nyasego, has set her sights on a new path: politics.

The sister of renowned Kenyan singer Akothee has been interested in politics since she was a young child. She even wrote her thesis on the subject in school.

Cebbie’s venture into politics began in 2022 when she received a nomination from the Jubilee Party for the Migori County Assembly (MCA) seat. However, her nomination sparked criticism from some Kenyans who questioned her qualifications for the position.

In an interview with Nairobi News, Cebbie addressed the public’s concerns and expressed her passion for making a difference in the political landscape.

“Yes, definitely, I am on the path to joining politics,” she said. “I can’t say more, but I can say I am walking towards that. It is something that I have wanted to do from my young age days. When you look at my school’s thesis, it was all about politics. I also find myself in political spaces a lot. I am on the right path. The only thing that is standing between me and my success is time, I give it, time.”

Cebbie declined to single out any specific political role models, but she did express admiration for her mother, whom she credits with instilling in her a strong sense of integrity.

“I look up to so many politicians,” she said. “My mum is my role model in everything including political affiliation and doings because of her integrity. She speaks of what she believes in. She stands by her truth whether she fails on not. I would want to emulate her.”

Cebbie also shared her thoughts on social media, which she acknowledges as a powerful platform but one that she does not rely on for her happiness.

“My life is complete,” she said. “If today I shut social media, without worrying about my career in terms of my development, I would be perfectly okay, very happy. Because other than growing my developments, there is nothing really that I can draw from social media during hiccups. It is a culture of confessing, and your sin could be bigger than mine; therefore, I don’t need to crucify you.”

Cebbie Nyasego is a rising star in Kenyan politics. With her passion, integrity, and strong sense of self, she is sure to make a significant impact on the political landscape.

Akothee reveals reason her sister, Cebbie Nyasego wasn’t invited to her wedding

Akothee has finally broken her silence as to why she did not invite Cebbie Nyasego to her wedding and she did not mince her words! She was ofcourse responding to people who had been insisting on getting an explanation (social media in-laws). And all this was despite the fact her sister had refused to address the issue.

Akothee issues stern warning to bloggers

Taking to her social media account, Akothee said the following:

KEEP FAMILY FAMILY

Family is a group of people gathered together by blood who really don’t know each other .
Never use your important occasions for family reconciliations ???? kama mbaya mbaya ,kila mtu akae kwake.
Again forgiveness doesn’t have to be public that is pretence , first forgive yourself then forgive others . To keep family as family doesn’t mean you have to be friends or close , don’t force issues with family ,they are family keep it family ???? there are many places you people will meet EG FUNERALS

Akothee with younger sister, Cebbie

If you force friendship in family ,you will always be hurt or you will hurt people. Remember you don’t know each other ,that’s why you see Cain Killed Abel , Joseph was sold by his own brothers ,sasa wewe ni NANI?
I enjoyed my wedding ???? ????????????????????
Especially when choosing the guest list ????????????????????????????????
Kama haukuwaona jua hawakualikwa

Was the best part of it.
I only had people I wanted to
Let no one dictate how you your life should be.

FORGIVE FORGIVE FORGIVE
BUT
BOUNDARIES IS A MUST

And clearly, there are issues that have yet to be addressed and we will not see Akothee and Cebbie Nyasego near each other in the near future because this post is a clear indication of animosity.

Akothee sister Cebbie Nyasego involved in fight at funeral

Cebbie Nyasego is a firebrand but she might have taken things too far with her lack of decorum at a recent funeral she attended over the weekend as it is reported that she decided to confront a man whom she claims has been disparaging her on social media and she slapped said man.

The man in question took to his Facebook account to explain his side of things and he did call out Cebbie for her unruly behaviour and reminded her that he could easily have over-powered her if he were of a foul disposition:

You BLOCK your perceived enemies or bullies online, then at a your relative’s funeral, you want to get answers from your bullies, everyone is walking away, you remain with a drunkard uncle, you still want to shout…then you expect well raised gentlemen like us to join you in the drama, as if that is not enough, you take to social media to chest thump to the followers…aaah Jehovah manners ilibaki wapi jameni or that is how the modern day people act..

And on her part, Cebbie too took to social media to boast about having dealt with her bully at her own relative’s burial but one thing must be said, the family Akothee hails from is clearly hot-blooded!

Akothee’s sister responds to question about why she missed her wedding

Akothee’s sister was absent from her wedding and this raised a lot of questions with people wondering what is happening between the two especially given the fact that Akothee too was not at Cebbie Nyasego’s wedding.

Is it a game of tit-for-tat? Well, maybe but she has taken to social media to address the rumours and bloggers who were asking questions and what she said was:

Cebbie Nyasego defends sister, Akothee from man mocking singer for her failed marriages

Just like weve been told mambo ya watu wawili ni ngumu, i guess it also applies to family that is judging from Cebbie’s latest reaction to a fan trolling her sister, Akothee.

Okay by now you all know theres bad blood between the sisters – but this does not mean they will let the public insult or mock them without defending themselves or even each other. And unfortunately for one, Gordon Opiyo he had to learn that blood is thicker than water after he decided to shame Akothee for having married so many men – and still remains single.

The fella through his Facebook page shared a collage photo of Akothee with her exes to which he captioned;

Legend Akothee introduces “Omondi” the 7th man she is marrying. We wish her well in her 7th marriage and say, ‘who are we to judge?

Family over fans

A caption that did not sit so well with Cebbie – who innreturn decided to hit back at Gordon with facts about her big sister. Responding to the guy following his judgemental statement on Akothee’s body count…Cebbie hit back with;

Akothee with sister, Cebbie

I don’t know about the 7th man you are talking about.But, even going by the same pictures you’ve used, I only see her Ex Husband of the 3 girls, the father to the 2 Boyz ,Nelly and the current one. The rest are video vixen which by common sense alone can’t be included.

And in case you thought that the sisters dont support each other, Cebbie made it known that;

Lastly, Akothee, unlike some other women, decided to take charge of her life and refused to lose hope of what she believes in. Not everyone can but doesn’t mean they won’t given a chance.

Mmmh maybe Akothee should rethink her decision on not attending Cebbie’s wedding…clearly theres true sibling love between the two.

“Ukona private jet, ama uta gate crush?” Cebbie Nyasego drops major wedding hint as she picks out magical venue

Weuh. At this point i think some of us are just existing but then again….it’s never too late to achieve your heart desires. I mean look at Akothee’s story from grass to grace and now her youngest sister Cebbie Nyasego talking about private jets despite having it rough back in the village!

Cebbie Nyasego with fiance, Steve Ogolla

Anyway Cebbie Nyasego has lately been making headlines due to a few family issues here and there; and thanks to the same issues – we bloggers found out she will be walking down the aisle in December, something we all can’t wait to witness.

With that said, looks like Cebbie Nyasego has shared her wedding location – that is judging from her caption where she wrote;

Uko na private jet ama uta gate crush kama chameleon?

Lanes?

And i am thinking….okay, is she saying what i think she is saying or is she marketing one of her properties? But again, with her sister Akothee saying she wull not be attending the wedding, is Cebbie proving she is doing just fine on her own?

Cebbie hints at wedding venue

Well – who knows? But truth is….money is very sweet but the Swahili people say pesa na mali ndio mzizi wa fitina katika familia zetu.….and look, we have the perfect example here.

“Papi you are the hope I anchor my life upon” Cebbie Nyasego celebrates fiance as he turns 40 years

Cebbie Nyasego has been living life on her own terms and although there are rumors claiming she has been bad mouthing and gossiping sister Akothee; the lady has maintained her cool and remains low key on her family issues – which leaves me wondering…. whats really going on between the two sisters?

Cebbie Nyasego with fiance, Steve Ogolla

Anyway as we try figure out whether its jealousy or just roho chafu – all i know is that they’re both very public about their current partners – and so far, looks like its a competition on who is more in love. Wueh – ile kazi iko, haitaki uvivu.

Well, with that said – Cebbie this past weekend celebrated her fiancé, Steve Ogolla’s birthday with a loving emotional post where she poured out her heart to him saying;

 Papi ❤️ “Forever ” began the day our paths crossed. Even though you don’t miss an opportunity to show me off, and say how lucky you are to be with me; Every single moment, I thank The Good Lord, for having kept you for me.

Adding;

Truly, you are my desire, dream and Love. You are the hope I anchor my life upon, and together we go. When you stop, I’ll also stop. With you, this journey is so beautiful.

I choose you

From what she says is that put of everyone she as met or has dated – Steve Ogolla has truly proven to be the one created for her.

Akothee’s youngest sister with fiance

Cebbie Nyasego who is Akothee’s youngest sister went on to shower praise on her fiance saying;

I wouldn’t have asked for something different from this. And When I look at you, I can say what love looks like. May this birthday bring Peace, tranquility, blessings and may God restore and fulfill your life together with family. Lord hear us. Happy Birthday, Wuod Alego. Happy Birthday, Osiepna. Happy Birthday to my all-time cheerleader.

But seeing that Akothee or any of her daughters were not present for event leaves us convinced that the beef is still ongoing.
