Singer Cece Sagini parts ways with husband, Victor Peace after 4 years of marriage

Singer Cece Sagini and husband Victor Peave have finally ended their Union, 4 years after they wedded as man and wife. From what I remember is that these two low-key media personalities got engaged on live TV the trend back in 2014.

They however got married in 2017 in a lavish wedding that only saw close friends and family attend. Judging from the photos, we understand they had both a traditional and modern wedding – which I am sure wasn’t cheap.

However 4 years later, the Peaces have called their union quits – that is judging from Acevedo Sagini’s post where she wrote;

After 4+ years of walking this journey as the best of friends, with much prayer and consideration we have decided to come to the end of our road.

According to Sagini, her only reason for going public with the news is because – just like they shared their wedding fans, it’s the same way she will share the breakup. Public.

As we once shared our journey publicly, it is in the same spirit that we share this statement.

Not easy, but best choice

Having known her now ex husband Victor Peace from preschool to elementary – Ms Sagini says ending their union wasn’t easy – but was for the best.

Coming to this decision was tough but necessary for our general well-being and holistic happiness.

As for those wondering where they both stand now, the lass went on to reveal there wasn’t any bad blood between them, and will continue to be friends – just like before.

There are no salacious events at the root of our decision. We still cherish our friendship and wish each other the very best.

Jua Cali’s message to 7 female musicians who have ditched secular music to become gospel artists

The number of female secular musicians is plummeting as more and more are crossing over to gospel industry. At least 7 former female secular singers are now gospel artists.

The ‘revolution’ started years ago, former queen of chakacha Princess Faridah was the first known secular singer to change her music genre from secular to gospel way back in 2001.

Bernice Mugo aka Lady Bee saw the light sometimes in 2012 and became a full-fledged gospel singer. She went on to release several gospel hits.

A year later in April 2013 Linet Munyali aka Size 8 got saved to the surprise of everyone. She debuted as a gospel singer with ‘Mateke’.

Four years later Cecilia Sagini Kemunto popularly known as Cece Sagini got saved. She gave her life to Christ in October 2017 and released her first gospel song ‘Come Down’ in December 2017.

The same 2017 in November Nameless’ wife Wahu Kagwi received salvation. She went on to drop her first gospel song dubbed ‘Sifa’.

In 2018 two more former secular singers gave their lives to Christ. Both Marya and Amani came out to reveal that they were no longer singing secular songs.

Jua Cali’s reaction

The king of genge asserts that he will support secular-turned-gospel musicians. Jua Cali says he will buy their albums.

“Being saved is something very personal. You can never know about what goes in the person’s mind. I can only say I wish them success. It’s another world, you have to understand it. It’s not like they’ll be doing gospel because of money. It’s also another industry and you know there are those who wouldn’t want you to get into the business of music itself. I’ll support them. If they release songs and albums, we will buy,” said Jua Cali during his performance at the Guinness fanzone event that took place in Meru last weekend.

Cece Sagini did a good job of keeping the details of her relationship from her private. But sometime last year she made it public that she was dating Victor Peace and the two are engaged.

In May 2017 the lass and her man held a traditional wedding where Victor Peace got to pay her dowry. The two are now set to hold a white wedding that could be going down pretty soon.

The now gospel singer shared new photos from her bridal shower that went down recently. Judging from the pictures, she was joined by her close friends and Victor Peace who was also present for the photography.

From the look of photos of the bride-to-be and her pals, everyone seems to have had a wonderful time.

“I’m not here for fortune or fame” Cece Sagini explains why she decided to quit secular music for good

About a fortnight ago Kenyans woke up to news that Cece Sagini had quit secular music. The sultry singer as since given a detailed explanation why she opted to seek Christ.

Cess first came into the music scene with a collaboration with Jimmy Gait in the song ‘Appointment’. She also worked with Octopizzo for another hit ‘I am a doer’.

The lass got engaged to her sweetheart Victor Peace in November 2015. Cess took a sabbatical a few months after her engagement only to resurface in 2017 as a born again singer.

It’s a personal decision to serve God

Cess says she was bound to get save in one way or another. She explains that it didn’t matter whether she was doing well as a secular musician, salvation for her was a must.

“It was a long time coming. I have always been convicted to do it this way. I maintained the status quo because it was working for me at that point in my career.

“However, I got to a point where it didn’t matter anymore if it worked or not. I had to follow my heart. Although my previous stuff was not vulgar it was not gospel; it was positive music but not intentionally directed towards God and the purpose He has for my life. I have always been saved but I was beginning to feel like I was sitting on the fence, that is why I have made the shift. Even the Bible says that the Lord hates lukewarm believers; if you are not hot or cold he will spit you out,” Cece Sagini said.

I can’t base my life on pubic opinion

Cece Sagini says she’s not worried about what people or will say about her salvation. The songbird explains that she got saved so that she could sing for the Lord, she reiterates that she’s not after money or fame.

“Everyone has a story and I try not to judge because we don’t have the full story because we just look at people from the outside. There is a certain expectation that is placed on gospel artistes but you can’t base your life on public opinion.

“For me, it’s a personal decision to serve God with the gift he has given me. I will try to be the best example but I am not here to judge others or point fingers. Some people have a perception that gospel music has more money but for me, it doesn’t really matter, I’m not here for fortune or fame, just to praise His name. The music industry is very unpredictable, you really can’t tell how people will react to change, but if you know the why behind your what, then that’s all that matters.”

Singer Cece Sagini who just got married the other day by one of the best photographers in Kenya, Victor Peace, is popularly known for her short hair which she likes to dye blonde is now turning heads with her new hairdo that will leave you drooling over her photos.

Looks like she has been trying out new hairstyles as her recent hair do comes after she rocked jumbo braids but we can all agree that her new weave or wig brings out her sassy side that is hard to overlook.

The photos make her look totally different in a good way…her figure on the other hand is something to die for as she was heavily blessed and not even her baggy clothes can hide the fact that she is curvy!

Officially off the market! This is how Cece Sagini and fiance’s ruracio ceremony went down

It is now official that singer Cece Sagini is now Victor Peace’s wife as they held their traditional wedding in front of their family and friends in a colorful ceremony that has left many talking on social media.

The Peaces as they call themselves got engaged sometime last year and have now finally decided to hold their traditional wedding this past weekend.

They now join the list of celebrity couples turning heads on social media. However they are waiting to hold their white wedding which we hope will be held soon.

Ekeragerio/Ruracio. Such a beautiful occasion when two families come together and there is good chemistry. We thank God that there was great chemistry and a lot of laughter. The handover was all sorts of emotions, especially when they changed me into this beautiful Agikuyu outfit
