Christian Longomba Laid To Rest (Photos)

The Longombas brothers were one of Kenya’s best entertainers through their music. They shared the same interests and rarely got separated, as Lovy Longomba reveals. The death of Christian was a huge blow to Lovy; he was his best friend and brother.

Lovy wrote,

Christian passed on after a long illness. He had a complications with a brain tumor, which was successfully removed but doctors realized later on that he had blood clots. Lovy Longomba, who is now a prophet, revealed his brothers last words when he was in hospital. He said Christian promised to do Gospel music if God would get him out of the deathbed, and advised him to do the same.

Christian has now been laid to rest in the States. In an emotional eulogy, his brother Lovy wrote,

”Thank you Lord Jesus for the life of your servant & my brother Christian Longomba .He was always yours & now he has returned unto you.
Glory & honor belongs to you now & forever. Abba comfort the family & his faithful supporters, Amen.”

Prophet Lovy Longomba’s surprising confession about his twin brother’s death

The death of Christian Longomba came as a big blow to those who knew him; and of course his peers in Kenya who saw him – raise in the entertainment industry through his music.

Truth is, Christian was a gifted man who sang beautifully leaving many fans cramming his lyrics; and till date the Longomba music long lives in most nightclubs and we love it.

Any speaking about his twin brother’s demise – prophet Lovy Longomba says that he believes his brother is now resting in peace. This is after a long battle with a brain tumor (none cancerous) that saw his health deteriorate over the years.

My brother fought for a long time. Sometimes to know things prophetically, is not always the best, but God knows.

God told me

Having changed his lifestyle since leaving Kenya, former singer Lovy started a ministry which has grown over the years; and now the young father has turned into a prophet.

Just to show how much his faith has grown Prophet Lovy says God had prepared early enough about his brother’s death. Speaking during a live session on his gram – the man of God went on to reveal that God had already told him Christian would rest on the day he died, Saturday 13 March.

Speaking about this, the minister of the word said;

“On the day that he was leaving, God spoke to me and told me, ‘Christian is leaving today.’ I tried everything, spiritually, physically, and materially to keep him here, but man, when God speaks, God speaks and there is nothing you can do about it and it is always for the better. Even in this, Jesus is still glorified,”

Breaking; Legendary Musician Christian From Longombas Passes On

One of the members of the legendary Longombas duo, Christian Longomba is dead. The group which consisted of Lovy and  Christian was once one of Kenya’s best musical group. You probably remember the two from their hit song ‘Vuta Pumz’.

Christian had been diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2015, shortly after he and his brother moved to the States and he went into surgery to have it removed.

The surgery was successful but he had to go under the knife again after doctors discovered blood clots in his brain. He was undergoing regular treatment because of this, but he didn’t make it. His brother Lovy confirmed this through an emotional message shared on his Facebook page.

”To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I love you Christian, My brother, my friend and my partner but Jesus loves you more. Enjoy Heaven.”

Christian’s family and friends started a campaign to help raise USD20,000 (Sh2 million) to cater for his treatment in the US.

Christian has now passed on in Los Angeles, US. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
