Daddy Owen wants his brother Rufftone to Run for Senate Seat: He helped Jubilee win 2013 and 2017 elections

Gospel singer Owen Mwatia aka Daddy Owen has opened up about his brother Roy Smith Mwatia(Rufftone) interests in politics.

Owen believes he’s brother should become a politician and vie for Senator of Kakamega County because he’ll definitely win.

“He is always affiliated with politics. He helped Jubilee win the 2013 and 2017 elections.

“I always urge him to join but he always says he wants to watch from the sidelines. If I was to advise him, I would tell him to vie for senator in Kakamega. If Jaguar did it, so can he,” said Owen.

Owen added that his brother is a man of his words and he can lead better than many politicians.

“If you are a sober leader, it does not matter what field you come from. There is nowhere it is written that a leader should come from this or that field,” he told Word Is.

“Look at the leaders we have. Some of them are lawyers, doctors, teachers, etc. If you are a good person, you are a good person regardless of your field. But if you are a bad person, nothing can change that.”

Rufftone however, said that he’s not focused so much on becoming a politician.

“Does it mean that when someone walks with politicians it is automatic they will join politics?” Rufftone posed.

“I happen to have political friends and when I believe in their vision, I support them. Does it mean that when I go for coffee with you, I want to be a media person? I support my friends, I am a loyal friend and I put my mouth where my heart is,” he added.

How strict and uptight is your wife/girlfriend?

For daddy Owen, his wife Farida Wambui is very friendly and you might end up being fooled she doesn’t get angry, but according to the gospel singer, she’s one tough woman when things heat up.

Taking to social media, Daddy Owen shared a post jokingly saying that her wife might be a smiley face but when she gets angry, she goes into Kikuyu mode and rants.

Lunch date

“Nakwambia hapa tunacheka poa lakini kakijam kaanze kuongea kikuyu! That’s when utajua mitabendi zinaweza change from capital fm to kameme fm so fast! ???????????? when we are happy conversation ukua in english.. The two were on lunch and were having a sweet timeout now that their baby is almost hitting one year.

Daddy Owen shares why boy child is frustrated and why lovers are breaking up left right center

Gospel singer Daddy Owen believes boy child is currently frustrated because he hasn’t been well prepared for women empowerment.

“The world is changing. People should understand that we are in a transition period where women are being empowered without preparing the men. As for me I am educated and I know some of this things we go through in marriages and relationships is a transition.” he said in an interview with Mpasho.

Killings

He added that teachings have now changed since what boys were taught while growing up is turning out to be the opposite.

“When I was growing up I knew how a man should be and how a man should behave because my dad and uncle taught me these things. All these things are hardly being practiced anymore. Personally, I sit down and discuss issues with my wife but that was unheard of back then. Whatever my dad said was final. The best thing is to sort every issues as it arises.” he said.

“All these things are hardly being practiced anymore. Personally, I sit down and discuss issues with my wife but that was unheard of back then. Whatever my dad said was final. The best thing is to sort every issues as it arises.”

Owen added that he believes this is one of the reasons relationships are turning tragic and people are killing each other.

“The reason why people are killing each other is because of frustrations. You are like ‘how am I arguing with a woman?Haniskii aje?’ back then, women had no opinions.

“Women are changing and men are not changing because they were not prepared for this ‘revolution’. I am in marriage and the rate breakups among the friends we got married with at the same, is big.

“The solution to some of these problems is for us to prepare the boy child so that asiingie kwa marriage thinking he is the ‘boss’.” he added
