It pissed him off that comedians dared to consider their online fans as their family while in reality theyre not! Clarifying that family are only blood relatives.

“Stop calling you fans family. Stop parading your every move online. You have a life! Your family is your parents, children, wife/husband. Stop frustrating them!” a bitter Churchill lectured the comedians.

Daniel Ndambuki

“Those are fans, the moment you stop being funny, they stop becoming your family,” he clarified.

But warned them that the minute they get to the top, then they better exercise strict discipline because he had had enough of burying comedian after another.

In yet another clip, Churchill clarified that he made a platform from scratch, tiring day and night to see it grow and host millions of talents to become bigger and better. But has instead been dragged into mud and all sorts of controversies.

Jalango who was on stand-by, acted as the interpreter as Churchill spoke, so that the message gets to everyone present.

The minute a comedian starts earning some good money, they attract a certain circle of friends. Some good, others not so good.

Remember, a stand-up comedian of this kind, is not guaranteed a monthly salary, so when you spend all you have today, tomorrow you might have to live without.

Veteran comedian Daniel Ndambuki

“One of the biggest challenge in the entertainment industry is the social media. So you have a big name, have a big following and you have to impress people every single day. In order to remain relevant. But sometimes, it gets out of hand,” Churchill admitted.

However, the Churchill Show founder, believes he gave the deceased a golden platform to grow his brand which he at times took with a lot of seriousness.

It is sad that majority of people who shared this journey of life with the late comedian, admitted he was very stubborn. One with bad drinking habits that might have cost him his life.

Why Betty Kyallo’s interview with Churchill was so special to her

Betty Kyallo and Mwalimu Churchill got to have a sit down recently, an interview that gave fans so much insight into her private life especially her family background, admitting there was just something so special to her about the episode.

In her latest vlog on BK Lately, the young mom of one admitted it was a gamble deciding whether to first watch her interview on Churchill or her vlog that premiered almost at the same time.

Ms Betty Kyallo

However, her interview on Churchill received so much love and feedback, the beauty finally opened up on what made it one of the most special interviews she has had.

A session that was not necessarily a Q&A but one that allowed her to give her original story, one that left her reflecting on her life and an interview that brought together her childhood family.

It was like I was reciting my life story directly to the lens and I got so emotional, at one point I nearly broke down but I tried to hold myself and be strong. I was literally being honest with myself in that interview; I accepted my not-so-pretty past and I openly spoke about it.

Rocky past with her dad

Betty further disclosed she had had a very rough relationship with her dad, but how he spoke about her during the interview on Churchill is what melted her heart.

He called me daddy’s girl”. He was so proud of me and that was so special to me. I even texted him and said, “dad thank you so much for saying all those amazing words to me”. Because I never got to hear them many times while growing up. I got to hear what he actually thought about me.

Apart from her dad, Ms Kyallo was impressed by her mum’s and sister’s kind words to her, telling stories of her younger years that she got to hear for the first time in her life, courtesy of the Churchill interview.

I’m happy I was alive to hear what my family had to say about Betty. In life, tell the people you love, what you think about them, what you love about them, what they do that makes you happy. Don’t wait to say it to them at their funeral or on their sick bed,” she urged her fans.

Churchill should be responsible for the well-being of his comedians

Over the past few months, many comedians who the public came to know after they featured on Churchill Show, have come out to reveal that they are depressed.

All this time Daniel Ndambuki, better known Churchill, has been very quiet. He is going about his life like nothing is happening and I have issues with that.

You see, most of these comedians see Churchill as their mentor. That aside, he’s also their employer which means that he should be responsible for their well-being.

The fact that he is yet to say a word has me very worried because it now seems like what is happening, even the deaths, don’t bother him.

Interestingly, when Kasee and Njenga Mswahili died under unclear circumstances he was among the first people to send a condolence message on social media.

You would think he would even honor them by attending their funerals to pay his last respects but he didn’t.

The message that he is subtly sending to upcoming comedians is that he will just give them a platform but when things hit the fan, he will be nowhere to be seen.

One day when all is said and done we’ll ask the question that people are too afraid to ask and that is “Where was Churchill when all this was happening?”

Churchill finally speaks after Zeddy’s angry rants on social media

Churchill Show was known to be a platform that gives young creatives the opportunity to grow their talent, but for the last couple of months, it has been painted in a totally different light.

Comedienne, Zainabu Zeddy recently came out to accuse the national comedy platform for sending creatives into depression and eventually death but this did not sit well with it’s founder, Daniel Ndambuki alias Mwalimu Churchill.

The respected Godfather of comedy has finally come out public to respond to these allegations leveled against him and his platform.

Celebrated comedian, Daniel Ndambuki

Churchill Responds

During his show’s episode on Sunday, July 19, Churchill admitted he had come across the allegations, having taken him a solid 20 years of sweat and blood to raise himself to where he currently is and nothing will bring him down.

Watu wanaongea sana hadi unashindwa where do you start. Everything is a journey and it has taken me almost 20 years now to do these journey series and we are not stopping.

He hoped majority would take advantage of online platforms to grow their own brands without having to queue at Churchill Show for auditions and all that.

10 years ago you had to audition to become great but right now you can use social media. Now we are not in that era where unasema “mtu amekukazia kukua kwa stage”, oooh “sasa huyu hanitaki”.

Closing off:

We did time for you guys. Now you are a brand, you even don’t need to be a brand, you just need to have great content to change that social media to media. You don’t have to be on TV, you don’t have to be on radio.

Mwalimu Churchill publicly declares how he prefers to get fired after ugly K24 saga

The recent mass firing from Mediamax Limited over text is nothing the company should be proud of. At least I think so.

The incident painted such a vague and messy picture of the media network. First, for its lack of professionalism and second, for the way it merely communicated to the employees.

On the same regard, Mwalimu Kinga´ang´i born Daniel Ndambuki expressed total disgust from the Mediamax conglomerate.

He considered this insensitive of the media house, stating that such texts might not only come as a shock to employees but who knows, people might get into serious accidents.

Publicly declaring his preference, the comedian articulated that he´d rather his employer takes him out, wait for him to get high then he/she can break the news.

The day you decide to fire me, don´t send me an SMS, I can even be driving or doing something that might cause an accident. Let´s get this straight, you don´t do that sh*t to me. Call me for a drink and when I am high, drop the news. Some things can kill you.

Giving his two cents on the same, his Classic 105 co-host Maina Kageni questioned the kind of treatment the TV journalists had been given after years of serving tirelessly at the media station.

Shame on you, how can you do that? How can you ask someone to meet you at a certain hotel and then drop such news?

Mwalim Churchill reveals his biggest regret in life

Most adults have things they regret doing or having not done. Comedian Churchill also has one and it’s about an opportunity he let go of after being offered to study in the United States back in the day.

As revealed by a popular news outlet, the comedian apparently had a chance to start his comedy earlier but his choices mislead him. Apparently he had been offered a full paid scholarship to study at Chicago university. But, he took a bit too long to make up his mind which somehow costed him as he lost the chance.

Is it true that you regret not starting comedy earlier?

You see after high school I could have joined drama school immediately. I got an opportunity to study drama via a scholarship in Chicago University in the United States but I hesitated. I let that chance go. Maybe if I had grabbed it, I would have been doing things differently today and maybe I would have been much better at comedy.

Would he have done it any different if given the chance?

Speaking during the interview he went on to confess saying;

It has taken me a long time to get where I am right now, 15 years is quite some time you now. But I tend to think that had I joined Chicago University, I would have achieved what I have now earlier and faster. For instance, I would have learnt production earlier which is something I have had to take lessons on while on the job. Juggling production and comedy hasn’t been easy. Not having the knowledge of production earlier made me lose much both financially and creative wise.

Churchill explains why he barred Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta from attending his show at KICC

Apparently both Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta had sent requests to attend Churchill’s show. The comedian however turned town the requests from the two political rivals.

Daniel Ndambuki ‘Churchill’ hosted a show at KICC to celebrate his 40th birthday. Churchil@40 show went down on Friday evening November 24th.

Raila and Uhuru wished to attend the show but unfortunately they were both barred by Churchill. The comedy king has hosted both Raila and Uhuru in previous episodes of Churchill Show.

I explained to them both

Speaking to Nairobi news Churchill explained why he couldn’t allow either Uhuru or Raila at his show. He says that he couldn’t host the two rivals because of the volatile political situation in the country.

Churchill also reveals that he barred the Raila and Uhuru for his own sake. He explains that the two political rivals could have stole his moment.

“Uhunye (Uhuru) wanted to attend but I asked him not to and explained why. The same case was with Rao (Raila). With the situation still volatile in the country and as things seems to be, my event won’t be an ideal place for them because they will steal my moment,” Churchill explained.

Well, this was not an invite only party but an open party for every Kenyan who could make it. However, word has it that Churchill turned down Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga’s requests to come to the party.

Hot 96 radio presenter Raptcha is not happy with Churchill aka Daniel Ndambuki. He claims that Churchill is behind the reason why most of the comedians who work for him are still broke despite showing how gifted they are.

Raptcha who was part of Churchill show in the past says that Daniel Ndambuki fails to pay his comedians what they truly deserve and so far he is using this money to enrich himself.

In the series of tweets shared by Rapcha, it is easy to tell that he believes that Daniel Ndambuki has been using his comedian’s talent to enrich himself. According to him, these comedians pretend to be happy to avoid losing their jobs yet they have a right to speak up.

He tweeted…

Seems that what triggered his outburst is seeing Churchill and his comedians plan a fundraising to raise money for the comedian yet he
