Tanzania’s musical star Diamond is proving forbes wrong for not including him in this year’s top 10 richest African musicians. From his recently bought Rolls Royce, to his sumptuous jewellery, to his multi-million home. These are among the many things that Diamond is using to demystify his place in terms of richness & wealth.

The singer has now flaunted his newly bought hand jewellery costing Ksh 27.7 Million. Branded by his nick name, Simba, he made the amount known on his Instagram as he wrote;

”$100K for the fingers… $177K for the Hand ????❄️ #SIMBA ???? ”

From his newly-bought Rolls-Royce, to his most recent gold chain, Diamond Platnumz continues to display his expensive lifestyle by purchasing highly-priced and sleek items. The WCB boss is proving himself as a spendthrift who deserved a top 10 spot in Forbes richest musicians in Africa.

The chain, with his nick-name ‘Simba’ written on it, is said to have costed Ksh 5.2 Million ($48,000). Flaunting the goth-like chain on his Instagram, he admonished artists to embrace buying real chains rather than the fake ones; claiming that it might lead to health issues such as cancer.

Diamond Responds

The gothic appearance of the chain got many fans talking. With some claiming that he has joined ‘illuminati’. He has however, come to defend himself against the discordant allegations.

In response, he has taken to his Instagram to claim that he believes in God;

”And i believe in God, have been grinding hard…Winning Silent, and let my success screaming Loud…!???? ”

Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz has finally proved he deserved to be in Forbes top 10 richest African musicians 2021; by purchasing the latest 2021 Rolls Royce Cullinan. The luxurious ride is estimated to be worth between Ksh 35 to 40 Million.

New Wheels

The WCB CEO received his blue Rolls Royce Cullinan 2021 today, 14th July; and was overjoyed as he drove it around his home.

Diamond Platnumz had previously confessed his love for Rolls Royce; and he has delivered his dream car.

”This is how Swahili Nation do, Platnumz I’m out here…I’m driving a 2 Billion plus car (Tanzanian shilling) go google the price of this car” Diamond bragged while driving it.

He was recently in the States; and was seen receiving words of wisdom from legendary rapper Snoop Dogg. It seems like Snoop might have inspired him to buy the car.

Anyway, Diamond is now among the few Africans who own the luxurious car. He’s without a doubt one of the richest Africans; and he’s proving it over and over again.

He has now added to his sleek fleet of cars. He also owns two Cadillac Escalades; Cadillac Escalade Black Edition (2020) and the Cadillac Escalade Sky Captain Edition (2015); whose interiors looks like that of a private jet (he flaunted the interior last month).

These are among the few cars he owns.

Tanzania’s award winning musician Diamond Platnumz was on the verge of clinging a BET award for the Best International Act; 2021 after being nominated as one of the favorites for the award. Even though a section of Tanzanians weren’t rooting for him and wanted him out of the competition, Diamond still went on with it.

A great number of Tanzanians, including fellow musicians; had admitted to siding with Nigeria’s Burna Boy or WizKid on voting day.

To make things worse, they launched a petition to disqualify him. However, Diamond still has a huge fan base in Tanzania and East Africa.

Stiff Competition

Anyway, we have to admit that the competition was stiff. Take a look at The Best International Act Nominees, who were in competition with Diamond;

Burna Boy, Nigeria, Aya Nakamura-France, Diamond Platnumz- Tanzania Emicida- Brazil Headie One-UK, Wizkid- Nigeria, Young T & Bugsey- UK, Youssopha- France.

Despite losing the award, Diamond has thanked Tanzanians for their massive support. He has written on his Instagram saying;

The fact that Diamond isn’t giving up on winning the award still makes him a champ.

Tanzanian musician Diamond might be adding another woman in the list of her exquisite baby mamas very soon. We must admit; when it comes to choosing baby mamas, Diamond has taste. From Hamisa Mobetto, to Tanasha Donna, to Zari. Occasionally, Diamond spends time with them and the kids they have together.

Diamond recently recorded a video with who seemed to be his new bae; where he sang along his song with the lyrics suggesting he’ll be loyal. Well, some of Diamond’s fans claim this is just one of the subtle means Diamond uses to lure women into his trap of impregnanting them and leaving them.

Co-incidentally, this happens after one of Diamond’s baby mamas Hamisa Mobetto and Rick Ross caused a stir online with their flirty messages on Instagram; which suggested they’re onto something.

Nevertheless, Diamond doesn’t seem to be bothered by this. Fans reacted to his video;

He has however, not yet disclosed the name of his new catch. But without a doubt, she’s a beauty!

BET Awards Nominee

He was recently recognized by BET awards, who nominated him for Best International Act. Diamond still remains optimistic to bag the price, even though he’s in stiff competition with the biggest names in the industry.

The BET Awards event will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 27th.

Diamond has done several collaborations with International artists including Rick Ross, Omarion, Davido, among many more. Being the most subscribed artist on YouTube in East Africa also crowns him as the best. Additionally, his songs are the most watched in East Africa.

Hit After Hit

Every song Diamond releases is a hit and never disappoints. His song dubbed ”Yope” is his best performing song, standing at 152 Million views, and was released last year. Diamond has taken to social media to unleash a screenshot of  his greatest hit songs.

Tanzanian musicians are recently performing the best; gaining millions of views in less than 24 hours. Diamond and Harmonize are leading in the rankings. However, Harmonize was accused of buying views; and it’s not yet clear the claims were accurate. Nevertheless, Diamond is winning big on his side.

His English may not be perfect; he has been trolled for twenging and forcing an American accent in one of his recent videos.

He doesn’t mind this at all. While most people are focused on the latter, Diamond is busy out here securing the bag. He has now been recognized by BET; who have nominated him for Best International Act. The BET awards are held every year to reward the best musicians around the globe.

Diamond Platnumz has expressed his anger after Forbes released a list of the top 20 richest artists in Africa; without including him.

The Tanzanian musician is without a doubt one of the richest in the region, with an estimated net worth of Ksh 751 Million. The musician however, definitely thinks he is worth more than that. He owns several businesses, including Wasafi TV and Wasafi radio station.

Additionally, the singer has several endorsements, where he gets a sumptuous amount of money; without mentioning his music. The fact that he’s also a Rolls Royce owner hints his net worth is definitely more.

In the Forbes list, the only East African artist that appeared was Kenya’s Akothee; who is estimated to have a net worth of Ksh 1 Billion.

Diamond has now taken to social media to address the issue. He thinks that he should have definitely been on the list. He wrote;

”FORBES: next time google me to know what am really worth of, before putting me on your Stupid Richest African Musicians List!!!”

The Forbes list was released last week and Diamond was one of the artist that most fans thought he should have been included in there. Apparently, he also thinks the same. Let’s hope he will be included in this years list.

Diamond Platnumz is undoubtedly one of the best musicians in Africa. Days ago, we learnt that he has still dominated the East African music industry, in terms of viewership and YouTube subscribers. His Youtube channel has over 5million subs, which is the highest in East Africa, followed closely by his fellow Tanzanians Mbosso, Rayvanny and Zuchu. The only Kenyan in the top 5 is Otile Brown.

He is one of the richest musicians in Africa with an estimated net worth of Ksh 1 Billion. He owns several businesses, including media stations such as Wasafi Radio. The WCB owner also owns palatial homes and luxurious cars, including a Rolls Royce. He gets several endorsements and advertising gigs. The latest one he has is with Itel.

Anyway, the musician has revealed how much money he made from his hit song ‘Waah’ featuring Koffi Olomide. The song is one of his most viewed songs on YouTube with over 60 Million views in less than 5 months. On his Insta story, Diamond disclosed that after the song hit 39.3 Million views, he made Ksh 4,201,120.77, which is equal to Tsh 89,820,992.94.

He wrote;

Diamond also educated his fans that not every song with similar views can make the same amount of money. It also depends on which countries have watched the song and of course, the views.

Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz has revealed that he is not comfortable with his baby mamas Tanasha Donna and Hamisa being in the music industry.

The Business man, who owns Wasafi TV and Wasafi Radio, has revealed music industry is very stressful for women.

While speaking at Wasafi FM, the millionaire musician says he is willing to open businesses for his baby mamas if they are willing to quit music. According to Platnumz, men are the ones who are supposed to endure the stress and pressure of providing for their families.

For the longest time, people knew Diamond Platnumz to be the father of four children, Tiffa, Nillan, Naseeb and Dylan.

He has however opened up on having two other children with two Tanzanian women. He has also confirmed that he is yet to meet his firstborn daughter but admitted that his mother, Sandra has confirmed that the child is his.

Diamond is currently single and not in a relationship with Tanasha Donna as many presumed.

This happens days after Tanasha Donna went for a visit to Tanzania’s capital with her son Naseeb Jr, to see her Ex, Diamond.

Diamond seems to care a lot about his family and this doesn’t seem to be a bad idea. Maybe it’s high time they try a business. But music is also a lucrative business to venture into.

Tanzanian Musician Diamond Platnumz is without a doubt one of the richest musicians in Africa. The singer earns a lot from his Radio station Wasafi FM and TV station Wasafi TV. Having such media means that he also gets advertisement gigs which contribute to the singer’s earnings.

The musician disclosed that he earns Tsh 55 million in a week from advertising. This is equivalent to slightly over Kshs 2 million. Using celebrities to advertise is also one of the tactics used by most firms.

This is obviously because they influence consumer choice. Platnumz also says he makes TSh 200 million (Ksh 9.5 Million)  per month from endorsement deals. The star is also one of the few African musicians who make a lot of cash from their music.

”As for my endorsement deals and advertising business on social media, I get paid over TSh 55 million a week, (Ksh 2.6 Million)  which is over TSh 200 million a month. And soon I will be making more because just signed a deal for the same with yet another company.”

Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta earns approximately 1.44 million in a month.

Diamond is one of the self made millionaires, having come from a humble background. The singer has had controversies over the past few weeks about his real dad. He also met with his Ex, Tanasha Donna, who took their son to visit him. The couple also happened to share a stage in a concert in Dar es Salaam.

The Musician has shown the meaning of hardwork. We remember how he started his musical journey, looking like he would never make it. He’s truly an inspiration and deserves more.
