Majala has now joined NTV’s Swahili news desk to replace Nimrod Taabu who quit the Kimathi street-based media house to join Citizen TV.

However, close sources to the lady’s manager have told Ghafla that Doreen Gatwiri decided to resign because of the working terms at the station. Seems that the lady was unsatisfied about some few things that we are yet to find out about.

Ebru TV’s Swahili news anchor Doreen Gatwiri is slowly but surely proving to be a force to reckon with. The sassy Swahili news anchor popularly known for her fine looks is now giving back to the society through a new foundation dubbed “Doreen Gatwiri Foundation.”
The foundation aims at supporting education by reaching out to underprivileged schools and thus will focus on supplying basic needs such as stationery, food, structures and motivational support.
Though details about the launch are still scanty, close sources have revealed that the sassy TV anchor has already hit the ground running and is working with various teams to assist in mobilization.
The Foundation will go a long way in cement her already existing philanthropic work of helping the less privileged through her charity visits and a myriad of donations.

The world celebrated Father’s day yesterday and Kenya was not any different. Kenyan celebrities especially led from the fore front in celebrating their fathers and being celebrated all together in this full type profession without remuneration.

The footballer who is also known to play for both international and local teams is also rumored to be among the footballers who come home with fat cheques…and I bet no lady would mind this, right?
Away from that, the photos shared by the footballer on his social media pages have left many assuming that the two are an item or rather have have something special going on but… sadly I cannot confirm this.
