We Love Seeing Flaqo’s Transformation

Flaqo is no longer a fat mass of funny and we love the fact that he has actually started hitting the gym. It is a lovely sight to behold!

Actually, if we look at him as a simple, contained example, then all it is is a man who got tired of being unattractive when he was naked.

But when we look at him from the perspective of what makes men decide to get in shape, when we look at him as one of many successful men who decided to get into shape, then Flaqo’s transformation becomes even more impressive.

‘We Were Just Working On A Project’ Flaqo Clears Up Dating Rumours With Notiflow

You see, there are simpletons whose sole motivation for getting in shape is wanting to look good naked. There is nothing wrong with that. Live your life Johnny Bravo.

Then there are individuals who like the social media comedian did so as an outward expression of ascension. The funny thing is that not many people realize this is their driving factor. Some simply stumble onto it.

In a shithole country like Kenya, a lot of people are geared towards making money. Once they accomplish this, they are sated. That is why we have so many men who believe that working hard and making money will give them everything they ever desired (but lacked) such as female attention and affection -they later complain that women are gold diggers or that their friends are fair-weather yet they led with their wallets.

Others still, simply chase popularity. What I would call status -having a recognizable standing within society that lends itself to social proof: you get recognized anywhere you go either because you’re a celeb or simply because you’re cool. Again, the thing about this is money too can buy it because people will always flock those with utility (even if it is simply to be used).

I Used To Be One Of The Most Bitter People Who Hated On Celebs For Not Helping Me- Flaqo

The final one is the hardest. Flaqo found that out the hard way -looks maxing. Getting in shape so you look good. Money cannot buy this. It is the easiest thing to attain but needs the toughest mindset: discipline. And if Flaqo could tell you about how his new body has cashed for him cheques his fame and money couldn’t previously, you wouldn’t believe him. It would sound too far fetched.

And yet, those who know, know. Ask Julie Gichuru’s husband. Go and ask Bezos why he and Zuckerberg got into shape. Money makes attraction transactional. Status makes interactions superficial. But looking good (being in tremendous shape) elicits genuine envy. It is on an animalistic level. Men respect you. Women admire you. Your business partners respect you because your dedication speaks to self-discipline and being self-motivated.

Try it before you knock it. Or you know, sit down and call every buff guy you see an airhead and wonder why your partner’s interaction with her personal trainer leaves you jealous to no end even though it is probably an innocent interaction. Probably innocent…

Celebrities Vs KOT: Cyber Bullying being a norm is sending many to depression

Kenya’s KOT -Kenyans on Twitter- was ranked top for being the worst cyber bullies. Top huh, well I wish it was for something good but well here we are. Online entitlement!

Many social media users have made it a norm to just trash someone just because they can. Having little internet has made many become cowards that have taken advantage of their online privileges.

Celebrities Vs KOT

The other day fast rising Kenyan Comedian Mulamwa became a trend on Twitter after he burnt his comedy regalia because of being trolled for over three years.

For one Mulamwa was accused of bullying others too, but truth about that is a story for another day.

Further, Flaqo of the Mama Otis skits also had his share of trolls around that same time of Mulamwa. Good thing is other celebrities came in their defense and the two regained their sanity.

The two are just but an example of what social media freedom has done to people. But this is sending many into depression.

Among others who have had to deal with such trolls are Bahati, Willy Paul, tik tok Queen Azziad Nasenya and worse  the first Covid- 19 survivors. Why are people this mean?

Nadia Mukami become the latest victim of a hard hitting troll that she opted to take a break from social media.

Well, I have never understood the need to bring down another person. Breaks my heart.

Should online entitlement be tamed? Think about it.

HAO

On the other hand, the self declared OG Kaligraph Jones and Masauti teamed up for “Hao”a song that highlights the plight of many celebrities and how trolled for their work by fans.

In the song, the two put out how hard celebrities work though in public to make a living by entertaining them  but are trolled instead of appreciated.

Jones went ahead to admonish fans for always trolling celebrities especially the famous KOT  and forgetting that they are just  human and at work.

He told fans off for always having a point to make when its not necessary.

Flaqo of the famed comedy skits “Mama Otis” drops new jam “Regrets” a rollercoster of emotions in love

Flaqo,  famously known for his comedy skits cum musician has dropped another new jam under the 411 society dubbed “Regrets”.

As the month of love comes to a close end some people are clearly heartbroken. Yes,  all the noise about being in love and what not happened.

Lucky enough East African artistes have been on spree releasing love music here and there. Thus if you are lucky in love good for you and maybe this song is for you.

For hopeless lovers, you also are not left out in this as we watch what happens in love. I mean having the chance to love wholeheartedly only to be betrayed later on. Hurts right?

Oh well, that’s just what life offers. In the meantime, Flaqo gives us an overview of what happens when we take love for granted. Regrets!!

Regrets

This is an amazing RnB song that brings out all the emotional burgage in love. Flaqo starts of the song saying “Even if I lost you and I will never find you, you’re always in my mind…” Yes, ladies, he said that.

Ideally,Flaqo is telling a story of how his girl died and now he is full of regrets. He wishes he had done it all differently but here we are.

The fact that the “Mama Otis” maker can sing like that is unbelievable.

Flaqo

As the narrative around their love goes on in the video we see a happy couple whose light got shattered in an instant.

The girlfriend found him flirting on phone at this moment she gets angry picks up a knife in fury. The next thing we see Flaqo crying over her picture between candles. She died.

Basically the guy is full of regrets in between his feelings he wishes he did things differently. I mean how much do we value our loved ones?

Mama Otis

You never know when you will lose them. Clearly this guy can sing and we hope for more, but the most important lesson is not being afraid to value love.

This jam was produced by  411 society Jimmy Cornrows and video directed by  Jimmy Cornrows and Boran Imaging.

We want more music guys because everybody wants to love and be loved.

Watch the video and give us your thoughts?
