A lot has been said about Amber Ray and one thing many keep insisting on is that just like her friend Phoina; these two are good at snatching people’s spouses – and they don’t care!

A while back Amber Ray was said to have bewitched Zaheer who married her for a couple of years; only for it to end in tears and apparently nothing to show from her union with the politician.

In 2019, Amber was once again linked to yet another married man, Syd; who took her for a vacation in Greece ; and just like her relationship with Zaheer – this too ended as soon as it had started.

Size 8’s small sister Mary is kind famous through her singer sister; and of course baby daddy, Ezra who was part of FBI dance group and well – he is also known for his clout chasing stunts on social media.

However Mary Munyali and Ezra broke up a few years ago after an on; and off relationship that saw the two bring out the worst in each other.

Word has it that Ezra moved on with a certain ‘Somali’ lady; while Mary Munyali also bagged a serious man young man who settled down with her; and now the two have a baby together – making Ms Mary a mother of 2.

Anyway judging from the recent posts shared by Mary herself; we have reason to believe that she gave birth to a bouncing baby boy a few weeks ago.

Mama DJ Evolve’s cause of death revealed

Mama Felix Orinda aka DJ Evolve cause of death has been confirmed after the heartbreaking news of her passing made headlines.

government’s chief medical examiner Johansen Oduor; mama Evolve died from a heart condition called abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA).

This is a condition caused by the enlargement of the aorta; which is the main blood vessel that delivers blood to the body, at the level of the abdomen.

DJ Evolve’s close friend praises late mum

Having been bedridden for close to 2 years now, it’s obvious that DJ Evolve lost some few friends; but also managed to keep the real ones like DJ Shock who remains close committed to Evolves family.

Just to prove how close they have been since the shooting incident; DJ Shock recently spoke to popular media outlet where he spoke about Mary Hogo’s untimely death saying;

You see the same way we keep saying ‘men will embarrass you’ in Brenda Jon’s case; it was the liquor that left her talking about a past relationship that ended in years.

Bloggers Association of Kenya finally launches the 9th edition of BAKE Awards

Nairobi, September 14, 2021 The Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) is pleased to announce the launch of the BAKE Awards 2021. The launch coincides with the submission phase of the competition.

The annual blogging competition, which is in its 9th year, celebrates and awards exceptional bloggers in each category. Last year, the competition was unfortunately postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and eventually didn’t take place.

Bloggers Association of Kenya launches 9 edition of BAKE Awards

This year, the BAKE Awards 2021 will begin today, September 14th 2021, where we will accept submissions in the various categories. Thereafter, judges will decide on the best 5 nominees from the submitted blogs and which will then be availed for voting by the public. Thereafter, the winners will be awarded at a virtual gala event in December.

The timeline this year is as follows:

1. Submissions phase –14th September – 20th October 2021
2. Judging phase – 21st October -1st November 2021
3. Online voting – 2nd November – 10th December 2021
4. Virtual Winners’ Gala event – 17th December 2021
In 2019, we introduced a new category, Best Podcast which saw Amani Maranga become the first winner in that category. The total number of categories now stands at 24.

Also included in the winners’ list was JustJoykendi.com, who won the overall Kenyan Blog of the Year category, Lyraoko.com in the photography category, leotunapika.com in the food category, africancityplanner.com in the environmental category and fashionablestepmum.com in the fashion and style category.

In 2019, the competition saw more than 10,000 blogs being submitted and 800,000 votes being recorded. Women dominated the awards, winning in 15 out of 23 categories.

Submissions will be accepted in 23 categories and a blog can only be submitted in one category that it fits best. There is an exception, however, for new blogs (blogs set up in January 2019 onward) which can be submitted in the New Blog category and in another category in which they fit. The rule that makes three-time (or more) winners in the awards ineligible to compete, still stands.

Asking how? Well, as people troll and gossip her on social media – the lady on the other hand is putting more effort in her hustles; and thanks to a new post, we understand that the former news anchor will soon be on TV.

Anita Nderu recently got married to Caucasian boyfriend, Barrett Raftery; in a private ceremony that only saw close friends and family attend.

Her wedding came just a few days after her traditional wedding that got her fans talking on social media. However for her wedding, she made sure to keep it as private as possible; and now that it has been almost a month since the event – we finally have photos from the wedding.

The new bride in town shared the photos through her Instagram thanking her wedding committee for the support; and love they showed both her and husband, Barret during their special day.

DJ Evolve in mourning following his mum’s death

Word making rounds on social media is that DJ Evolve lost his mum on Wednesday,22 September at the age of 54 years.

The news was confirmed by the DJ’s dad who revealed that his wife apparently collapsed at their shop in Lakisama and was pronounced dead when they arrived in hospital.

The news about her death has not only shocked many but has left Mr Orinda; the husband, confused or rather in a state of disbelief. Speaking to popular media outlet, Mr Orinda opened up about his wife’s untimely death saying;

She passed away around 5:00 pm. People just walk around not knowing they are sick. She fainted at her shop in Lakisama and was taken to the hospital but she was pronounced dead on arrival.

DJ Evolve still bedridden

This is undeniably one big blow to Evolve’s family especially with the bedridden DJ remains.

From what we know is that DJ Evolve has not moved from his bed for close to 2 years since Babu Owino shot him at popular club.

Not quite sure what the family is going through at the moment: but all I know is that this must be one of the most trying experiences the DJ is facing in his life.

Former Kleptomaniax member Collo hints at the possibility of Nyashinski joining the gospel industry

Back in the day Kleptomaniax was the it pop group. I mean, they not only came through with the baggy drip; but also with good music that has kept the Kenyan music industry afloat.

I understand the group, Kleptomaniax was formed back in 1999 but was dissolved around 2007; due to unknown reasons but since then, the group members moved on and became husbands and dads.

One in particular is Collo who is currently using his talent; to spread the gospel now that he is a changed man. In 2016, Collo announced to have quit the secular music industry as he was now a saved man. For a minute – some fans felt this was a joke until Collins Majale dropped drinking and partying like before.

Nyashinski following into Collo’s footsteps

Thanks to a new interview Collo recently held with Mseto East Africa’s Willy M Tuva – we have reason to believe that his brothers (Kleptomaniax) could be following into his footsteps.

This is after Collo hinted that there is a high possibility of Nyanshinski getting saved; or rather, the Mungu Pekee hit maker already got saved but opted not to mention it to the public.

Speaking to Mzazi Willy M Tuva, Collo weighed in on the possibility of Nyashinski’s following into his footsteps saying;

According to Collo, the Christian religion is not a new thing to Nyanshinki; who turns out to be a preachers son.

Captain Otoyo’s father laid to rest (Photos)

Radio presenter Kazungu Matano popularly known as Captain Otoyo lost his dad on Wednesday, 22 September; and the posts shared on his page looks like Mzee Matano was later laid to rest a few hours later.

Although one would expect captain Otoyo to break down due to the loss; turns out that this was more of a celebratory event as their dad lived enough to see his children and grand children grow.

From Otoyo’s post, we understand that the old man died at 80 years; which would explain why Otoyo refereed to him as a Mugumo tree.

The Mugumo Tree has fallen. My Dad, mzee Mohammed Matano Masha has left us at 80. Laying Mzee off at 04.00PM at Our Mazeras – Kasemeni Home. I’m at peace with this. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun.

Burial Event

From the burial footage, it’s clear to see that the late Mzee was only buried by men; which is part of the Islam practice.

Anyway, details concerning what caused Mzee Matano’s death remain unknown to the public; but like we said – he lived well enough to see two of his generations grow.

Why Wilbroda feels family members contributed to her failed marriage

Actress Jacquey Nyaminde popularly known as Wilbroda was once married, you know – lived the good life of a good wife; but just like most young toxic marriages, she ended up splitting with hubby and was left to raise her son alone.

The popular actress opened up about her past during a recent interview with Buzz Central; where she spoke about her past marital woes for the first time.

Well, turns out that Wilbroda’s marriage was not so smooth; and although she didn’t spill much from her past – all I know is that at some point things almost physical and she quickly decided to leave. Speaking about this experience Nyaminde said;

I acted immediately and started planning myself.

Blames family and herself

Apart from the violence she quickly escaped from, Nyaminde says she was also part of the problem; as she often hosted her family members every now and then – making privacy a problem for husband.

According to Nyaminde, she got to learn about the relatives issue through her husband’s friends; since the guy ranted about it after their divorce. Speaking to Cheptoek Boyo – Wilbroda said;

I also contributed to the breakup. I think by the time one thing that contributed to our breakup was that I was with my relatives all the time. My sisters were always at my house, I didn’t see a big deal with it until later on after we broke up, he mentioned it to his friend.

Adding;

I didn’t see that. Looking at it now I am like, I contributed to their coming. I went overboard. I enjoyed their company but it cost me.

Having learnt her lesson the hard way, the popular actress now says;

I no longer entertain visitors even my relatives. People need their personal space. It’s one of the things. You have to be mentally prepared to have friends over.

As seen on the post, Muli promised the lady to hang in there as they swapped positions; and now it’s time for her (the new girlfriend) to suffer. But come on – I thought Lilian knows better?

Life must be really tough for Lilian Muli who seems to have good money, perfect career, two adorable boys; but can’t still find the right partner to settle down with.

So far we understand that Lilian Muli has been into two serious relationships, (with first and second baby daddy); but for some reason she always ends up walking out and is forced to start from zero.

Most of her latest posts talk about the importance of keeping an eye on the ‘snakes’ around her. While another post touched the issue of having fake friendships; and clearly – this is Lilian Muli throwing shade indirectly.

Anyway earlier today, she once again dropped another post talking about people who date other people’s exes. And I’m guessing this has something to do with one of her baby daddy’s latest new catch.

Since the day Lilian Nganga dumped Alfred Mutua, it appears that the Machakos Governor has a lot of time in his hands. Which of course is a good thing, especially now that he has time to spend with his 3 kids.

Well unlike before when the Governor kept his family on the low due to his status; seems like he is slowly introducing his first family to his social media – well hoping this will keep fans occupied and not mocking him for being dumped.

Yesterday, I asked my 12 year-old daughter, C, which photo I should post from several photos. She gave me detailed explanations of each photo, pointing out nuances and things I had not seen and eventually chose this one.
