Kenyan artistes only look for collaborations with Tanzanian’s whose names are almost extinct in the game

Kenyan artistes are the laziest lot in East Africa. Forgive me if you feel offended. To start with, they rarely ask for collaborations form East Africa. It is a good thing to have local collaborations.

One thing that is a fact is that they are too lazy to cross borders. Sometimes one might think it financial but come to think of it.

Only two or three of Kenyan artistes have sought collaborations with big Tanzanian artistes. The rest are so comfortable in their own zone.

Kenyan artistes only look for collaborations with Tanzanian's whose names are almost extinct in the game

Also, the problem is not that they cannot get these people to work with them but just lazy people who want things to come easy.

I am saddened by the fact that they go to look for Tanzania artistes who are already dead in the music scene. Look at Nameless and Darassa. He ought to have collaborated with the guy when he was still selling in Tanzania.

In music, one should flow with the wave and what is hot. Apart from Akothee, I am yet to see any other Kenyan artiste who has collaborated with Diamond Platinumz.

Kenyan artistes only look for collaborations with Tanzanian's whose names are almost extinct in the game

Also, it is the only way that they will make a name in Tanzania. Look at the example of Willy Paul, he has made use of Rayvanny, Tanasha has made use of Mbosso.

I feel sad that Kenyan artistes want to rush to these people when they can barely hit in their village. It takes hard work and determination to make it.

Imagine the things the Tanzanian big names are doing. Who bewitched our very own? Why is it so hard to get collaborations in East Africa?

Kenyan artistes only look for collaborations with Tanzanian's whose names are almost extinct in the game

Kenyan artistes should feel challenged considering that this artistes who are making are even taking major events in our country. I doubt there is anyone who will go for a lazy artiste.

In addition, it is time that they took the opportunity and emulated their counterparts. Look for Harmonize, Diamond, Mbosso, Alikiba, Rayvanny and the others.

Stop going for people like Mr Bleu, they can barely make it on their own.

Lulu Diva takes the airwaves with Mr Blue on Naogopa

Lulu Diva is back with a hard-hitting banger, Naogopa, in 2020.  The Tanzanian beauty queen has teamed with Tanzania’s finest, Mr Blue. The duo has teamed up to bring out the best vibe.

Lulu Diva is known for her great vocals and great hits. She is a queen who is always talking of love in her music. In this project, she brings in a different style.

Mr Blue is the King of rap in the bongo world. He has given the jam a new tune and a lovely one. Also, as we focus more on the audio, it is also good we focus on the video quality.

Lulu Diva takes the airwaves with Mr Blue on Naogopa

Naogopa is a love assurance song

Naogopa is a love song where one is in fear of being robbed their love. She says that she is not interested in anyone else she is satisfied.

In addition, it is more of a reply song. This because  Mr Blue responds to what he will do. He acts like the caring guy who will do anything not to lose their queen.

Naogopa is basically on couples expressing their fears of losing each other.

“You are my candlelight Nakupa sifa sijaona Jinsi una petty petty Wanishika moyo wayoyoma”, says the lyrics.

Also, looking at the lyrics deeper, we notice there is so much love into this Naogopa work. It is clear that Lulu Diva is a diva of lyrics.

Lulu Diva takes the airwaves with Mr Blue on Naogopa

“Kwa wengine sichezi Penzi lako kwangu ngoma Nitalinda penzi Pembezoni mpaka Gola,” she says further.

To add on, she says that she is not entertaining anyone else. Her love is meant to be for her guy alone.

Further, into the lyrical world of Naogopa, Mr Blue flows well and performs his line so nicely. Also, it shows a collaboration that brings out the two like a couple.

In conclusion, Lulu Diva and Mr Blue get a rating of 6/10 in Naogopa.

The collaboration between all the 11 is something that shows the industry is headed somewhere. First, we get to understand the meaning of Kosi. According to the team, Kosi is a short form for the word Kosisikeleli which means freedom.

East Africa united by an encouragement song 'Kosi'

Kosi is an inspirational song to the young generation

The main aim of the song is to inspire, motivate and encourage the new generation. It helps them to acquire a positive mindset towards life in general.

It is worth noting that the hit has brought together the best producers in both audio and video to ensure comprehensive work.

East Africa united by an encouragement song 'Kosi'

Kosi also brings on board the good works of radio legendary, Mzazi Willy M Tuva, a Kenyan presenter. Audio production involved three brains with two from Uganda and one from Kenya.

The beauty of this heat is brought about by the Masaka kids whose give the dance they’re all. Actually, the song is so real and unique.

Wambui Katee the queen of covers also graced the song with her beautiful voice. Being a woman in a male dominated world is just cool.

The lyrics of the song are a mixture of languages. This gives Kosi a new and unique taste. There is a combination of great works.

East Africa united by an encouragement song 'Kosi'

Kosi is a great jam and it is an inspiration to many. African artistes should focus more on content that is inspiring the young generation.

In conclusion, the likes of Jabidii and Arrow Byow are names that are recognised in the two nations for their good work.

In conclusion, Kosi by East Africa Allstars is relevant to today’s generation thus the rating of 6/10.

Tanasha’s collaboration with Bongo’s finest is a boost for her music

Tanasha has for the first time proved that she is on a mission to better in the music scene. The mother of one has taken the internet by surprise after releasing a hit in which she has collaborated with Wasafi’s finest, Mbosso.

One thing we must look at in Tanasha’s music, it is evident that she has always struggled to hit the numbers. I know most will say that it is because she is not talented, but again, where did the talent come from this time around?

Tanasha's collaboration with Bongo's finest is a boost for her music

In a game of wits, Tanasha has done a great job to use the Wasafi crew to her advantage. First, her dating Diamond is one great step to win in her music career.

In addition, Diamond is a big name in the region and most people knowing that he has a thing with Tanasha they will definitely rush to listen to her work.

Sometime back we talked of her being an armature and this time she seems to have mastered the game and polished her work.

Also, I am sure Tanasha has a couple of collaborations expected to drop within the week. It will not be a wonder that they will come from Tanzania.

Tanasha's collaboration with Bongo's finest is a boost for her music

In addition, Tanasha has proved that to sell one needs to be smart. Don’t just go to a foreign land and be dumb. This young mama is already benefiting from Tanzania and the bongo world at large.

Seems like, in 2020, this will be her breakthrough in the music world. I know you have all had the opportunity to listen to her previous work.  It is nothing close to what she has under producer Lizer.

Actually, Tanasha will be the biggest name in Kenya and in East Africa. If she keeps on collaborating with the Tanzanian singers. For this reason, you’ll notice that her name is at the top and on the trending list. We need to promote our own and more so Tanasha.

The lass is already selling the Kenyan name in Tanzania and in places, Diamond Platinumz steps foot.

Hellen Muthoni acknowledges God in Mwaminifu

Hellen Muthoni is back with a new collaboration dubbed Mwaminifu. This comes after her last song with renown gospel artiste Mercy Masika. This time she has brought on board a beautiful and talented lady, Zippie Gichengo.

Hellen Muthoni is known for her great creativity and her beautiful voice. Mwaminifu is a song that is praising God for the good deeds he has done.

To start with, the Inooro TV gospel show presenter has kicked off the year on a good note. Known more for her Kikuyu songs, she has now changed the tune to Swahili. Honestly, I must say that this is a great hit.

Hellen Muthoni acknowledges God in Mwaminifu

Mwaminifu is an encouragement song

This song is to encourage you that even though things are not going your way, take time to look where you have come from and the battles He has won for you, He is faithful and will always remain faithful

Also, looking at the Mwaminifu location and costume, it is one of the most creative videos she has done. Hellen Muthoni always takes people deeper into the worship moment.

I doubt there is any vernacular artiste dedicated and focussed like this little and beautiful soul. She has for sure gone an extra mile.

Hellen Muthoni acknowledges God in Mwaminifu

In addition to the great lyrics in Mwaminifu, the vocals are enough to lead someone. I have replayed this song in my head and I still can’t get enough of it. I believe that she should focus more on Swahili and English songs.

Hellen Muthoni in Mwaminifu has revived a gospel that was almost dwindling. She is an ambassador who should keep on preaching the word.

I need not lie to you, I did shed tears while listening to this jam. It is more of a prayer to Yahweh. Hellen Muthoni is a good singer and she should keep on giving her fans more of her work.

Mwaminifu gets a rating of 7/10.

Vanessa Mdee has failed by focusing more on love instead of using Rotimi to sell her music

Vanessa Mdee has proved that love is a beautiful thing with Rotimi. Although it is in good faith, there is a problem. The beauty queen has had the best opportunity in her music career to go international.

Imagine you are the one dating power star, Rotimi? Would you have taken advantage of the large following he has? First, Vanessa Mdee is a brand on her own, a brand that she has the best opportunity to grow.

Vanessa Mdee has failed by focusing more on love instead of using Rotimi to sell her music

In my honest opinion, it is high time that Mdee opened her eyes and stop being fooled by love. I mean she is all over Instagram parading Rotimi.

Rotimi is is a brand and a big icon in the US. He is a name that will greatly push Vanessa Mdee’s music abroad. Who in this time an era keeps their fruits in one basket.

Honestly, I feel that Vanessa Mdee is losing as an artiste. Look at her fellow artistes like Tanasha who have taken advantage of their lovers’ popularity.

Vanessa Mdee has failed by focusing more on love instead of using Rotimi to sell her music

It is a world that one will not feed on love but on your hustle. Every now and then, Vanessa Mdee has forgotten of her music career. Imagine being on a flight weekly with your celebrity lover?

Vanessa Mdee should by now have done a collaboration with Rotimi. Look at the market she will be attracting abroad? Sometimes I wonder if she ever thinks of going beyond the love word with Rotimi.

Vanessa Mdee has failed by focusing more on love instead of using Rotimi to sell her music

I know m, majority of you will say am jealous, but it is time Vanessa came back to her senses. She has on a couple of times accompanied her star lover to perform abroad but not at one time has she performed alongside him.

In addition, I have not seen any dumb Tanzania artiste. Vanessa Mdee will be the first one and she needs to act fast. You’ll agree with me that she is committing music suicide. When is the last time she even released a single since dating Rotimi?

I hope she will read this and act accordingly. Your thoughts also count. She needs to stop going to live radios to parade her lover and start marketing her music.

Guardian angel calls on God for blessings in “Kosi”

Gospel singer Guardian Angel has given his fans Kosi as a new year gift. The celebrated singer is known for his great work in music. As always, he does not disappoint.

Kosi is a lovely praise song in which he praises God for and calls on him to calm him. Guardian Angel is asking God to bless him and protect him from his enemies.

“Nakupa kosi Futa machozi Unitulizee Unitulizee,”

Guardian angel starts the year on a high note on Kosi

Kosi is a prayer to God to bless us

This is the introduction to his lovely song. He says that he has given God work to do. It shows the much trust he has on God.

Also, in the second stanza, Guardian angels go on to ask whatever he wants God to do for him and among them is to hold his hand.

“Moyo wangu unawaka moto, Wale wenye roho ngumu ka kokoto, Wanataka mi niangamie. Nipotelee bwana nichunge kama mtoto,” he says.

In addition, Guardian Angel asks God to prepare a table before his enemies to manifest himself to them. This is a popular verse in the book of Psalms in the Bible. Also to him in Kosi he said it as a prayer request.

Guardian angel starts the year on a high note on Kosi

“Baba andaa meza mbele ya maadui zangu, Nile ninywe nitulie nikutumikie, Mi nikuishie nikukimbilie, Milele kwa hekalu lako nikuhudumie,” says the lyrics.

Actually, the whole song is a prayer for God to bless him and shame his enemies. Am sure most of us this is a prayer for the year. According to him, he needs to feed and feast before their eyes.

Further in Kosi, Guardian Angel says that all he needs is to praise God and serve him diligently.  Also, you’ll notice that this prayer is a good one to begin the year.

Just as many would wish for God to manifest himself in their self this year, you just need to adopt this prayer and make it work.

In conclusion, Guardian Angel gets a rating of 7/10 in Kosi. It is such a great hit.

They say i’m broke and desperate – Tanasha Donna

There is no greater satisfaction than a lady knowing that a lady can afford to cover her own bills without depending on her man – a trick that Tanasha seems to have perfected in!

In a new post shared by Mama Naseeb Junior we understand that she has been receiving negative comments from her haters who can’t seem to let her be!

Tanasha Donna responds

According to Tanasha, most of her fans tend to think that she is only with Diamond Platnumz for the money and fame. Some have even gone to the extent labeling her as a golddigger as revealed on her post.

Yet they say I’m broke & desperate… I ain’t rich (YET) but financially stable through my OWN HARD WORK and SWEAT I AM, HAVE ALWAYS BEEN & everyone around me knows that. Let me flaunt when I’m making millions of dollars, can’t flaunt when I’m only making tens of thousands. #DONNATELLASEASON,

Tanasha’s post

Well judging from the post above it’s evident to Tanasha definitely has been catching feelings for being referred to a gold digger yet she works hard to make sure all her bills are paid on time.

Anyway, we also can’t blame the fans since most ladies are known to hook up with Diamond Platnumz for his money!

Harmonize hits hard with new jam “Hainistui”

Harmonize hits hard with a new year banger dubbed Hainistui. This comes after the singer filled a stadium in his home town Tandahimba.

The celebrated singer has done a couple of songs after falling out with his longtime boss, Diamond Platinumz. Hainistui is a Swahili word that means am not scared.

In my take, I fell that Harmonize is trying to hit back on this criticising his music career. In short, it is like the majority of his ex-workers felt he was going to fail.

Harmonize hits hard with new jam Hainistui

Hainistui is a response to Harmonize’s haters

To start with, the audio for Hainistui is just amazing and well delivered. Harmonize has over time proved himself and the quality of his work.

“Konde wenzako watakuroga(Hainishtui) Au na wewe ushaogaa(Hainishtui) Maana hunaga uoga(Hainishtui) Hapa nilipo kesho yangu sijui.”

According to the above stanza, Konde Boy is not scared of anyone who is trying to derail his music. Also, he talks about how he has been told how people are working on bewitching him.

Harmonize hits hard with new jam Hainistui

In addition, Harmonize is also talking about how no one should correct God’s doing. He has also said that God is the one who gives and he does it at his own time.

“Eeeh leo nimepata kesho nimekosa Kazi ya Mola haina makosa Huyu kampa boda mwingine verosa Vuta subira ngoja Mungu ajakutosa,” he says.

Further into the song, Harmonize speaks his mind and how no one should be scared of their surrounding. I mean most of us to fear our enemies.

Harmonize hits hard with new jam Hainistui

In fact, this song has to be a driving force to many who think that people can harm them. Lol, that is not even bound to happen if you mind your own business.

In other words, Harmonize in Hainistui is simply trying to tell people not to fear anyone. This is a nice song to begin 2020.

In conclusion, Hainistui gets a rating of 8/10.

Alma talks of Misbehave with Boondocks Gang

Alma is not to be left out this year as he also ends 2019 in style with a new banger Misbehave. The gengetone artiste has not only wrapped it in style but in a bliss collaboration with Boondocks Gang. Although not the whole gang, he has featured Exray and Maddox.

From the many collaborations that the gang has been in 2019, Maddox and EXray have been the most sought artistes in the team.

Alma thoughts in Misbehave are super crazy and am sure you will like it. It is more of a hype song where everyone is dancing and having fun. First, the title Misbehave will draw your attention and in bid to understand it you’ll play the song.

Alma talks of Misbehave with Boondocks Gang

Misbehave is a let loose song and have fun

Taniua is a phrase that has been adopted in the Kenyan market. Misbehave is just a song that talks of the things done out of social teachings.

Alma and his gang talks of how people misbehave and how some avoid misbehaving since they are in the church choir. Honestly, if you do not feel the sarcasm then this was not meant for you.

Even as we break for Christmas, these people just think of sex as misbehaving and there is even a stanza in which they criticise some guy’s girl.

Alma talks of Misbehave with Boondocks Gang

What catches the eye in Alam’s and Boondocks Gang is how the song has been done and the video. It is a very lit song with all the simplicity.

The Misbehave lyrics are simple and something people talk about daily. Also, it is easy to relate to the song with today’s generation.

In addition, the collaboration between Alma, Exray, Maddox is just one unique one. All the groups came to the limelight early in the year and for sure they have commanded it all through.

In conclusion, Alma, Maddox and Exray did a great job in Misbehave. Last but not least, the song gets a rating of 6/10.

Frasha supports King Kaka in impunity battle ‘Wajinga Sisi’

Frasha has joined King Kaka in the battle of telling the truth in his new song Wajinga Sisi. This is in continuation of the Wajinga Nyinyi hit released by King Kaka.

Frasha has openly highlighted the difficult times that Kenyans are going through.  Revolution is inevitable this time around. Kenyans are at a time where nothing matters.

Wanjinga Sisi echoes the earlier words by King Kaka where he pointed out the gaps in the Kenyan government. In a country where corruption has become the order of the day, poetry seems to be talking.

Frasha supports King Kaka in impunity battle 'Wajinga Sisi'

Frasha calls on the corrupt judicial system

Into the Wajinga Sisi song, Fresha hits on some of the scandals that have drained the country and how they were forgotten.

“Hello King Kaka. Ni Frasha hapa. Maze hii fight alone huwezi toboa. So nimeamua ku stand na wewe. So kabla wani summon, wacha nitoe yangu sermon,” read the lyrics.

Frasha supports King Kaka in impunity battle 'Wajinga Sisi'

Frasha goes on to highlight some of the things that King Kaka failed to mention in his earlier piece of work. According to the Wajinga Sisi version, he calls on the judiciary who has on a couple of times failed Kenyans in the fight against corruption.

Frasha says that they have killed justice by releasing these corrupt politician on bond of Ksh 2 million whereas their case is worth more than Ksh 2 billion.

“Naskia Waiguru alikusue. Is this true? Funny vile judiciary imekuwa circus. Judge na politicians wakiwa main acts. Mshukiwa anaachiliwa kwa bondi ya Ksh 2 million na kesi yake ni ya Ksh 2 billion. Nani atatupigania? Hatujui maguru wa NYS na Ruto na makesi za mashamba . Scandals za mahindi na story ya Mumias na sukari,” added Frasha.

Wajinga sisi speaks of brainwashed Kenyans

Frasha supports King Kaka in impunity battle 'Wajinga Sisi'

Frasha has also condemned pastors who have been lying to netizens but at the end of the day calls Kenyans fools. This is because they will still flock the same churches.

“Na hata kama wewe ni pastor unang’ang’ana. How can you have such a deceitful tongue? But Sunday bado sisis tutajazana. Wajinga Sisi,” he says.

In addition to the great piece of work, Frasha reminds us of the SGR saga where Kenya became a dumping for what China did not need. This came in the name of the failed Standard Gauge Railway line.

“Story ya SGR tuliwacha kuicompare na Ethopia na wale walikuwa wanapiga kelele walinyamazishwa pia,” added Frasha.

It is clear that from this Wajinga Sisi song Kenyans are tired and musicians have resulted to using artwork to fight for justice.

In conclusion, Frasha has done a good job and gets a rating of 8/10.

It is time for Kenyan music to get more respect in Africa

Kenyan music has for a long time been neglected in the African music table.  First Kenyan artistes are producing good music better than what their competitors are doing in Africa continent.

With the likes of Sauti Sol, Khaligraph Jones, Nyashinski and the Gengetone groups, Kenya is far much better. It is sad that Kenyan music is not respected on the continent.

Failed Event Organisers

It is time for Kenyan music to get more respect in Africa

To start with, even Kenyan event organisers have helped the world in trashing our own talents. I do not understand how a Kenyan born event organiser shamelessly goes to the neighbouring country to source for artistes to perform in Kenya. This is pure BS.

It is time for Kenyan music to get more respect in Africa

I know that most of these people will walk on into national TV interviews claiming how Kenyan music is underdeveloped. Do you wanna know why? You are the reason why there is less of music growth in Kenya. How on earth will you explain inviting Mbosso to come and perform in Kenya in a coastal cultural event? Does he even understand that culture? Are there no local artistes in that culture?

It is high time this nonsense stopped. Start promoting what is ours. How many times have you heard those Tanzanians invite Kenyan artistes in their mega-events? If there is any proof table it.

Mean African artistes who only think of their Growth

It is time for Kenyan music to get more respect in Africa

Recently, Diamond whose music is played in Kenya shamelessly organised a mega event and had no guts to invite even Akothee a close friend.

The Bongo star took his legs and fame all the way to Nigeria to please them whereas here they are saying let’s support East Africa.

I fail to understand who this East Africa is. To add on, these Tanzanian artistes are very mean and only want to succeed alone. If the Tetema had good intentions, it would not have hurt with Sauti Sol being part of the Wasafi Festival.

Failed media in Kenya who want fame globally but not at home

In addition, there are big media houses in Kenya who will go miles and miles to pay tickets for foreign artistes to fly in Kenya. Common dummies, how many local artistes would you have paid to grace your events? Who said imported content is better? Just know you are ones who have signed a death sentence for Kenyan Music.

The other day Khaligraph Jones was nominated for an award, I am sure none of the so-called event organisers have taken their time to vote.

It is time for Kenyan music to get more respect in Africa

Actually, 2019 should have served as an eye-opener to the majority of Kenyans and see that stand all alone in the game. They need to know that Kenya has good music than even Nigeria and Tanzania.

Also, imagine the rate at which Sailors Gang and Ethic Entertainment have received recognition abroad. Why don’t we do the same for other local artistes?

We will only rise if we market our music. Tanzania, Nigeria, South Africa and Uganda have done it. Why not us? We are better than they are.

In conclusion, if you have stones to throw, then this is the right time to do because I will use them to build better grounds in the fight for KENYAN MUSIC.

Darassa and Harmonize do the unthinkable in Yumba

Darassa is back after his latest collaboration with Nameless. This time he is back with a new tune dubbed Yumba. In addition, he has teamed up with Tanzania’s finest, Harmonize. Simply this is where Darassa seeks king of the Konde Gang.

Yumba is the duo’s song for closing the year. It is not clear if they will all have their own individual songs to close the song.

Harmonize brings on his Bongo Fleva feel whereas Darassa brings out his poetic style. Am telling this is the best song of the day. It has two styles incorporated and I assure you it is worth your time.

Darassa and Harmonize do the unthinkable in Yumba

Yumba is a Kiswahili word which simply means sway. In this case, it is easy to understand the deeper meaning of the song and how it is easy to relate with.

Actually, this song is very interesting. The duo is talking about having a crazy night in bed where they were in a steamy sex session with their lovers.

In the introductory part, they talk of how they left their clothes lying everywhere during the night only to find them all over.

Darassa and Harmonize do the unthinkable in Yumba

Interestingly, for them, there is a line they call on the girl to teach her what she is not gonna lean in school. This Yumba song by Darassa and Harmonize will be the end of me.

Yumba gets interesting deeper when one learns that what this girl will be taught is all about sex by some drank guys. Hapo kati hata mabubu wanatoaga sauti. In short even the deaf and dumb feel the sweetness in between the legs.

Darassa and Harmonize have left me laughing my lungs out. I mean the title Yumba is not even close to what they have in their lyrics.

The video is great and the creativity is on point. I beg to end my review here so that you can go deeper into the song. In conclusion, Darassa and Harmonize get a rating of 7/ 10.

Alice Kimanzi and Paul Clement treat us to Yuko Mungu

Alice Kimanzi has featured Tanzania’s best Paul Clement to bring us Yuko Mungu. This is a soul searching song that is calm and true.

To add on, this is where we say Kenya meets Tanzania. Yuko Mungu is filled with praise and much love for the supernatural being.

Alice is known for her great taste in music and much love. She is a talented soul who leaves no stones untouched. On the other hand, Paul Clement is a successful lad who has treated music with a lot of love and passion.

Their coming together Yuko Mungu is the best thing ever for it will help promote and grow music from East Africa.

In addition to all the praises above, it is time to get what exactly the song is about. You realise that it is not always they have the same message. Being released at a time when the Christian generation is celebrating the birth of Christ, there is a lot to expect.

Alice Kimanzi and Paul Clement treat us to Yuko Mungu

Yuko Mungu is giving hope that God exists

Mungu anaweza kufanya njia njangwani, na mito ya maji nyikani. Kama alifanya masika na kiangazi. Anaweza kubadili majira pia na nyakati. This stanza introduces the song as well us prepares one for the mood of the song.

In the above stanza, the duo is talking of God’s strength. It indeed conforms with their song’s title, Yuko Mungu.

In the stanza performed by Alice Kimanzi, she talks of how God protects her in the darkness even when her faith is drowning.

Alice Kimanzi and Paul Clement treat us to Yuko Mungu

In the chorus performed by Alice Kimanzi and Paul Clement, Yuko Mungu anayeweza, Yuko Mungu anayetenda, mwamini yeye, mwamini yeye, hutoaibika.  This is the best chorus. Also, there is much that is in the lyrics but we cannot highlight everything.

In conclusion, Yuko Mungu is a hope-giving song. It only requires one to renew their faith in God. Last but not least, the song gets a rating of 7/10.

Sol Generation closes 2019 with Sauti Sol on Ukiwa Mbali

As we approach the end of 2019, Sol Generation in collaboration with Sauti Sol are ending it in style. The duo has teamed for a new super jam Ukiwa Mabli.

According to them, the song is a thank you note to their fans. Sol Generation are all trying to recall the events of 2019 and what they did.

Sol Generation closes 2019 with Sauti Sol on Ukiwa Mbali

Ukiwa Mbali brings onboard Crystal Asige and Nviiri The Storyteller who were among the Extravaganza team. This is a Christmas song where the duo is praising God for going this far.

Ukiwa mbali(Mbali mama) Umoja natamani(Natamani) Sijui nitafanyeje  Christmass nile na wewe. To start with, the beauty in this chorus will blow your mind.

It is well written and there are questions on what one should to celebrate with the other.

Sol Generation closes 2019 with Sauti Sol on Ukiwa Mbali

Sol Generation wishes all well during Christmas

Sol Generation and the Sauti Sol team are in a party as it appears in the video. There is actually a stanza in which they ask people to have fun.

To add on; Siku hizi kuwa na sherehe bila wewe Mpenzi harakisha usichelewe Nilizaliwa Disemba kama wewe Njoo njoo unibembeleze.

There is the spirit of sharing in the above stanza. Being a festive season, the duo wants all to be happy. There is that line that talks of others going to the church and others in the club.

Also in this stanza ; Moyoni ni mengi ninatarajiaga Na — mbinguni na dunia Ili niwe na wewe muda unawadia Njoo nile rhumba na wewe.

Sol Generation closes 2019 with Sauti Sol on Ukiwa Mbali

Without dwelling more into the song, Sol Generation and Sauti Sol have done a great thing. Ukiwa Mbali is a song that has no restricted audience.

There is that stanza performed by Crystal Asige and it is just fire. One would think Ukiwa Mbali is their last album but it is only for 2019.

In conclusion, the coming together os Sauti Sol and Sol Generation was a great idea. Ukiwa Mbali gets a rating of 7/10.

Danzak dedicates Anajishaua to Wema Sepetu

Danzak is back to close the year 2019 with a dance song Anajishaua. The song has been dedicated to former miss Tanzania, Wema Sepetu. It is the best song I have heard this year praising the beauty queen.

In addition, DanZak, the East Africa born-Omani singer, is a songwriter and airline pilot. Also, the star wishes to share this as a New Years gift and close 2019 on a high note!

READ ALSO: Never force what´s not meant for you. PERIODT!¨ Tanasha Donna´s long cryptic post gets fans thinking

First, Anajishaua is a very uplifting dance song that speaks of a girl with an exciting attitude towards him.

In this case, the style of music here is a combination of Bongo Flava, Dancehall and Afropop blended with Arabic flavours.

Danzak dedicates Anajishaua to Wema Sepetu

To start with, Anajishaua has the best quality video that you will come across. He is all praises to Wema Sepetu in this song.

According to the star, he is describing Wema as a woman who is driving him crazy. Also, he goes ahead to mention her dress code.

Anajishaua is all praises about Wema Sepetu

Anajua kujipamba, well you will agree with the star on this. Wema is a pretty lady who handles herself with a lot of decorum.

Danzak dedicates Anajishaua to Wema Sepetu

Danzak also goes to say that Wema resembles the fairytale cinderella starting from her dress code. She is always well dressed and one cannot go wrong about her.

Although Wema Sepetu has ties with Diamond Platinumz, this has not scared Danzak to speak out his mind. Anajishaua is enough to bring Wema close to him.

Danzak dedicates Anajishaua to Wema Sepetu

Also, it was earlier on rumoured that the star was interested in her but she turned her down. Am not sure how many women are longing for this kind of a man.

To add on, Danzak has given the lyrics a fair treatment. I mean I will be right to say that his lyrical prowess is unmatched.

Further, into this piece of art, there is a lot of love shown towards the Tanzanian beauty who is said to be calm and loving.

In conclusion, Danzak gets a rating of 7/10.

Ben Pol gives us a Christmas hit dubbed Sikukuu

I know you all remember those days when music was music. Actually, Ben Pol has taken us back there. As am writing this review you can be sure am dancing.

Ben Pol is calling on God to bless and provide for the needy. He also thanks God for the gift of life. According to him, most people started the year but left along the way.

Ben Pol gives us a Christmas hit dubbed Sikukuu

Sikukuu is a thanksgiving song

I mean this is something most people witnessed. To add on, the singer asks people to thank God for being alive and healthy.

In short, this is more of a prayer for this festive season. In addition, Ben Pol pours all his emotions in this Sikukuu song.

I know I might have left a very important for those who do not understand Swahili. Sikukuu is a Swahili word meant to mean a holiday in lay man’s language.

Sikukuu is a song that talks of a better ending for the year 2019. As I approach the end, Ben Pol adopted a new style where it appears like the live banding is performing.

Ben Pol gives us a Christmas hit dubbed Sikukuu

Listen to the dramas and the guitar, you’ll automatically fall in love with this kind of work.  It is not usual for many to remember those in suffering but Ben Pol in Sikukuu did.

This is that kind of song that will carry you even before you notice. I thank God that someone thought of a thanksgiving song.

In conclusion, Sikukuu gets a rating of 8/10. Ben Pol for sure did a good job.

Octopizzo closes the year with new hit Kamikaze

Octopizzo is back with a new tune Kamikaze. The Kibera born star is closing the year with a super dope hit. This comes after his latest collaboration with Gengetone artistes Sailors Gang.

Octopizzo is known for his great work in art and even in Kamikaze, he has not fallen short. The song is lit and from the production, one can tell it is worth.

Kamikaze is a song in which Octopizzo praises himself and talks only about business. According to the star, he is in the game to win and earn.

Octopizzo closes the year with new hit Kamikaze

Octopizzo is all business in Kamikaze

To start with, in the chorus he talks on how he will accept cash deposits and cheques.

Although Kamikaze might appear like there is only one idea, the star goes ahead to talk about a girl whom he refers to as the baby.

Baby look look look, look at me I be ushered when you look at me What do you see? Pizzo the King.

Akili nywele we kipara Mheshimiwa hii idara Msupa cheza chini bana Hizo haga nazidara. My people, the rate at which Nambananne is getting to the gengetone vibe is alarming.

Octopizzo closes the year with new hit Kamikaze

Actually, in the line above, he introduces it so well and that is a very common saying. Things go south when he starts to mention asses and how he is going to caress them. I mean he is past this BS.

Namba nane kamikaze Hao wengine wajikaze Hii ni mboka niko kazi Cash check madeposits. Also, it is evident from this chorus that every man for himself. One needs to what they gonna eat.

Although some lines are not very interesting, Octopizzo has done a great job in his production work. I must say that it meets the international selection criteria.

Octopizzo is a lyrical master and Kamikaze confirms it all. In conclusion, he gets a rating of 6/10.

Killy brings Alikiba on board a great jam “Gubu”

Alikiba is back with a new talent Killy for the new tune Gubu. This comes after the star released his single Mshumaa just before his unforgettable tour.

Killy and Alikiba are all about love. Gubu is a Swahili word for an ungrateful person. In this song Gubu, the stars are talking about a girl whom one compromised their life for her.

Killy brings Alikiba on board a great jam Gubu

Gubu by Alikiba and Killy is about an ungrateful person

As usual, Killy introduces the song and man! The voice is just amazing. First, he calls on the girl to come so that they put their differences aside.

Hasira hasira za nini? Naomba urudishe moyo wako nyuma Naathirika mie Kwa nini eeh kwa nini eeh? He also questions the actions of the person he is talking to.

Actually, it is very hard to tell who is who in this kind of work as all of them have almost similar voices.

Alikiba comes in in the second stanza and this feels just so good. Nimegundua ulinishusha daraja Ulitie huruma dhahiri Ukweli vile ulitangatanga kukicha Nilikosa nini hunny?

Killy brings Alikiba on board a great jam Gubu

Also in Gubu, talking there is a stanza that Alikiba and Gubu are talking of how they held the person’s hand in broad daylight and all they get in return he tries to bring them down.

Hadharani kumbe bado Namshika mkono ambaye Baba nani naye anajilia Yoyoyoyo.  Seems that this was an attack on someone. This is because Tanzanian artistes are at the peak of tarnishing each others name.

Although there is a lot in Gubu by Killy and Alikiba, it is also good to focus on the production. Gubu is a product of Kings music record label.

Also, the Music Video was shot in Lushoto (Tanga) Tanzania, Director by Ivan and Audio Produced by Mocco Genius.

Last but not least, Alikiba and Killy did a good job with the lyrics and just like that, they get a rating of 7/10 in Gubu.

Wanati presents “Pu Pu Pu,” a meme song

Pu Pu Pu by Wanati is a symbolic song that will leave you in suspense. Many like I when you see the title ‘Pu Pu Pu’ initially judged the song. But breaking to its lyrical flow, it’s used to describe beauty.

Wanati introduced with a background voice. The voice which is of a historic attack event that happened in our country. That’s where the voice, ‘Pu Pu Pu comes in to describe the gunshots by an eyewitness.

First, the song says, ‘dem ana bunduki pu pu pu.’ This is used to explain the figurative beauty of a girl.

Ssaru goes ahead to narrate that besides the beauty the guy loves thickness as well. But besides having all that on a first date, many girls don’t fall for as sexual favours.

Wanati presents Pu Pu Pu a symbolic song

Delivery and production of Pu Pu Pu

Have you ever seen a girl who wants it all on the first meet up? Well, Ssaru thinks the guy beside the greed he thinks he knows too much. He seems to have experienced a lot in his lifetime with girls.

Parroty comes in with his talent and lyrical up game as well. He continues the lead singing on how with all this beauty he can enjoy. He describes the body shape and size of what gives him sexual satisfaction.

The artiste Parroty has used lots of words with hidden meaning. He even goes ahead to use a mother tongue language. His lyrics will leave you thinking out loud with no answer to lots of guesswork.

Kappy closes the trio lead, he is young and talented as well. Wanati narrates of a lady who boasts of good bed habits and thinks she’s good. It’s funny but I never knew some would want favours that will make them trend.

Wanati presents Pu Pu Pu a symbolic song

A bit funny and naughty. What about this girl who comes with hair pick up line. She’d want her hair made but less does she know or maybe it’s intentional. That she turns Kappy on because the artiste claims he loves the breasts.

Wanati in the chorus of the song brings out the title, ‘Pu Pu Pu.’ ‘Dem ana bunduki dem ana bunduki bunduki pu pu pu.’ The words are used to explain beauty and what the lady was blessed with.

In conclusion, Wanati’s Pu Pu Pu was well done. Wanati did Pu Pu Pu lyrics well done with symbolic terms.

Pu Pu Pu by Wanati is so dope and the videography was as well done perfectly. Thumbs up to the Wanati.

Zzero Sufuri joins Isaac Wais and and others in “Latema”

Gengetone artiste Zzero Sufuri is for sure grasping every moment he has to penetrate into the Industry. The singer has teamed up with others in which they refer to themselves as Dagoretti’s finest 5.

The group of five has jointly released a new hit dubbed Latema.

According to the singer, Latema is a local love song. Also, its focus is on a group of guys in a matatu headed to a hangout invited by a group of girlfriends.

Actually, I must say it is such a great jam. Niko ndani ya Latema nitakatema is some great rhyme giving this song a unique feel.

Latema is a love song

Zzero Sufuri has no chills when it comes to his music. He is always dedicated. Honestly, the song is very clean and the words are well sieved. There is no BS seems the group was serious.

In this jam, Latema, there is a girl who is being described and the guys feel that they have hit a jackpot.  Although all the others are doing well, Zzero Sufuri still has the idea of smoking weed.

There is sheng’ used to deliver the message and it is a good thing for the ghetto society who easily relate with the language.

Zzero Sufuri joins Isaac Wais and and others in Latema

In this age, it is clearly difficult for one to get a clear copy that is not talking about women. As many would argue that there is no talent here, I beg to differ because this is very unique. Imagine making a song from normal things that surround us.

Although the others behind Zzero Sufuri are not known to many, he himself is enough to represent the group. Also, talented singer has been able to compete with other Gengetone artistes who sing as groups.

In conclusion, Zzero Sufuri and his team get a rating of 6/10 in Latema.

The world of hip-hop has received tremendous growth and people like Oksyde are doing well.  He is a celebrated hip-hop artiste has greatly struggled to get to the top. Drip Drop is the singer’s single work after a long while.

It comes at a time when every artiste is trying to treat their fans with something new for Christmas.

Drip Drop is a great piece of work that shows determination and hard work from Oksyde and his production team. One thing that will capture your attention in this jam is the sound and great voice.

Oksyde takes hip-hop up with new single Drip Drop

Style and delivery of Drip Drop

To start with, there is some great vibe in Drip Drop and the meaning is just well outlined. In the introduction part of the video, Oksyde comes to the scene through a slim tunnel where a shoe is passed to him.

Actually, he acts as the boss in the video. Another thing to note are the colours that have developed the video. This is all about creativity in the music industry.

The video is vintage and it is very unique from most work done by Kenyans. I mean this is just something that I haven’t seen in a long time.

Oksyde takes hip-hop up with new single Drip Drop

Also, the singer has developed rhyme as a style in this Drip Drop jam. Oksyde has it well when it comes to mastery of words. Am I allowed to refer to him as the master of lyrics? Yes from Drip Drop Oksyde qualifies for the title.

Further, into the song, his style of rap is very unique and very close to what the likes of Drake in the international market do.

If Oksyde does not meet your needs in Drip Drop, then I do not know what your taste in hip-hop is.  Oksyde has perfectly proven that it is a good thing for one to work for quality.

In conclusion, he gets a rating of 6/10.

Rayvanny cries his heart out in his new jam Naogopa

Rayvanny is a sad man as he releases his new song Naogopa. The celebrated Wasafi singer is not having it easy after rumours of his break with lover Fayhma.

First, in Naogopa, it is all emotional as he talks about love and how he fears to fall in love. Although he did whatever he did with the vixen Nana, he is emptying his hurt out.

Naogopa is very sad and there is a pain in the whole song as he talks about his love experience.

Rayvanny cries his heart out in his new jam Naogopa

It is a very painful song telling of a heartbreak

Mapenzi chenga, Yakikupiga unasurrender, Na wengi wakipendwa, Wanasahau kuna kutendwa. These words are so painful coming from someone who was also happy.

To add on, Rayvanny e is saying that love is a beautiful journey, but it does not work out, it is okay to give up.

Wapi mkandarasi wa moyo Wa ukuta wa mapenzi unadondoka Kinacho ponza wengi ni moyo Wakikalia kuti kavu wanadondoka.

Also in this stanza, Unajisifu umempata Kumbe alo mwacha anamfata Anachotaka anakipata Wanasema hawara hana talaka. The song is just sad, in this stanza he talks of how he praises himself that he has found her, but it is only for a short while and things come crumbling.

Rayvanny cries his heart out in his new jam Naogopa

Actually, this are the best lyrics that I have heard from Rayvanny in a long time. Why is there trouble in his kingdom?  A legend literally tears down in this Naogopa hit. Less than 24 hours, the song has amassed more than 2ook views.

On to the chorus; Naogopa(naogopa) Naogopa(naogopa)  Naogopa(naogopa) Kwenye safari ya mapenzi mi nisiyasikee Naogopa(naogopa) Naogopa(naogopa) Naogopa(naogopa) Tena tochi ya mapenzi isinimulike. He is scared of love and this is evident in his voice and the strong lyrics.

In conclusion, it is sad how things happened so fast. Last but not least, Rayvanny in Naogopa gets a rating of 7/10.

Amber Lulu features Mr. Lg in ‘Sigino’ and it is lit

Amber Lulu is back with a new jam dubbed Sigino. The Tanzanian queen has featured the best in Tanzania Mr Lg. First, the new tune comes at a time most Tanzanian singers are releasing music.

Amber Lulu has for some time now managed to win her fans and this has proved to be a good thing for her. Though the Sigino is a bit slow in reception, you’ll agree with me that it is a great jam. Combination of the two talents has brought a great outcome from Amber Lulu’s work.

Sigino video has been shot with modesty and the graphics are just wow. Ever connected with a song through the video? If not, then this will be your first one. The make and costumes were well done.

Amber Lulu features Mr. Lg in 'Sigino' and it is lit

Sigino is just a simple word for a signal. The way she has introduced the song makes it look like something big. Actually, the songs start by a phone ringing and the set of the video has a landline phone.

As much as the song is good, the scenes will make you switch off the video and just remain with the audio. In the video, the vixens are more naked.

Amber Lulu is talking to her enemies in Sigino

The emotions being portrayed in the song are something to go by. You all know how Amber Lulu does her music.

In addition to the great production, it is clear that she was attacking her critics.  There is a line where she is saying that some are not sleeping as they are busy gossiping about her.

Also, the audio has been produced by Mr Lg himself. One thing for sure is that this guy is talented. The beats and the audio are in sync. There is that perfect and there is no competition.

In conclusion, Sigino by Amber Lulu and Mr Lg gets a rating of 6/10.

Zzero Sufuri gives us early Xmas Song

Zzero Sufuri has treated us to an early Xmas song. This is just the most fun thing I have had today. Whatever he was high on then it worked for him.

To start with, the beats of this jam will draw to listen to the jam and also the title. But anyway this was crazy of a guy who has always sung some funny things.

Though he has named the jam Xmas song, you will be cracking your ribs when you hear what is in the lyrics. In short, he is planning to cheat since the girlfriend is not around.

Zzero Sufuri gives us early Xmas Song

Ati naskia kuimba zimenisha, Lol this is just some funny stuff here. How did he even craft this? What was in his mind?

The whole Christmas tune is just worth the repetition and is sure the chorus is very memorable. Imagine a Zzero Sufuri who is always singing about weed and here he is taking us to the Christmas carols?

Actually, the song might sound childish but it is the most hilarious thing today. The guy is talking like he is high on something.

I wish he can continue entertaining us like this. The background voices, this dude is just crazy in his own way. One man way and he is still giving the groups sleepless nights?

Zzero Sufuri gives us early Xmas Song

Or this is what we say Lazima zitushike Xmas? The song titled Nuclear in short can only be referred to as Xmas song.

I even lack words to describe the audios because this is just a hit in its own way. Xmas nuclear song is just simple but the message and power it contains it’s just awesome.

Without much to say to Zzero Sufuri, I must ay his talent is unmatched in this one and he should continue with this. Last but not least, he gets a rating of 6/10.
