Ticket price for Jaguar’s concert in Mombasa the most expensive in the history of Kenya and the internet is amused

Kenyans are mocking Starehe MP after he announced ticket price for his planned end year party. Revelers will have to part with thousands of shillings to attend Jaguar’s concert.

Jaguar is slated to perform at Club Lambada Mombasa on December 31st. The Starehe MP shared a poster of his concert and netizens were shocked.

Kenyans couldn’t stop grumbling after seeing what Jaguar is charging revelers. The poster shows ticket price for the concert is $500 or Kes 51,652.

It’s not clear whether the price indicated on the poster was as a result of typing error. All the same Kenyans went on to troll the musician over the exorbitant ticket price.

Kenyans react

Below are some of the comments from Kenyans after they found out Jaguar is charging 51k for his end year party:

“My bodyguards are now out of danger” Jaguar narrates the cause of Sunday morning accident

Starehe MP Charles Njagua Kanyi was involved in yet another accident on November 26th. Jaguar was on his way back from a funeral when the accident happened.

Jaguar was not in the car that got involved in the accident. The Mercedes Kompressor that rammed into another vehicle was carrying Jaguar’s bodyguards.

“An accident which had occurred earlier on Kenyatta road, made curious motorists stop to have a glance at a Toyota Isis which had veered off the road and rolled several times. When the motorists were trying to catch that spectacle, they consequently parked wrongly on the road, it is then that one vehicle rammed into another, and another rammed into the one in front. Just like the cars ahead, my vehicle, a Mercedes Kompressor, which had my bodyguards on board also rammed into a car which was in front of it, reducing it to a mangled wreck,” Jaguar told Citizen.

My bodyguards are out of danger

Jaguar briefed Kenyans on the conditions of his bodyguards injured in the crash. He says his bodyguards are recuperating at Kenyatta Hospital.

“Earlier today, on my way back from a burial in Nyeri, one of the vehicles we travelled in got involved in an accident that involved seven other cars.  The occupants of the vehicle who included my bodyguard are out of danger and are receiving medical care at the Kenyatta National Hospital. I thank you all for the well wishes,” wrote Jaguar.

The Starehe MP was involved in another accident eight months ago. Jaguar’s Range Rover crashed to death two people on March 22nd 2017.

The MP’s Range Rover KCB 808J hit the two men who were on motorbike at high speed on Makutano-Sagana highway killing them on the spot.

Jaguar makes fresh promise to beat up anyone who dares disrespect president Uhuru Kenyatta

Jaguar has proved he is a true foot soldier of president Uhuru Kenyatta. The Starehe MP vows to ruthlessly deal with anyone who dares insult or disrespect the president.

If anyone doubts Jaguar’s words then the events of October 1oth 2017 should convince you he mean his words. The Starehe MP was involved in a fist fight with Babu Owino at parliament’s media centre.

Jaguar attacked the Embakasi East MP because he said Uhuru was a caretaker president. He wanted to teach Babu a lesson for disrespecting the president.

You will be subjected to a beating

Jaguar has made fresh promise to beat up anyone who dares disrespect president Uhuru.  He issued the warning while speaking at a diabetes screening exercise at Moi Avenue Primary School in Nairobi.

The lawmaker says anyone who dares disrespect the president will be dealt with ruthlessly. Jaguar explains that he can’t insult Raila Odinga because he respects him.

“Sisi hatutaki matusi. Kama unataka kumtusi president Kenyatta, wewe mtusi, na tukipatana wewe utapigwa. Sisi ni vijana na hata mimi naeza mtusi Mheshimiwa Raila Odinga, lakini siwezi mtusi kwa sababu namheshimu kama kiongozi wa NASA,” Jaguar was quoted by Citizen.

Check out the striking resemblance between Starehe MP Jaguar and Hamisa Mobetto’s son

Kenyans on social media have now turned to Starehe MP Jaguar as they compare him with Hamisa Mobetto’s son. This comes a few days after the Tanzanian video vixen shared a new photo of her son at 3 months.

Hamisa Mobetto’s son compared to Jaguar

Keen observers on social media could however not stop comparing Jaguar and Prince Abdul who apparently look alike especially around the mouth area.

The comparison post was shared by one lady who identifies herself as Leah. According to her Hamisa should carry out a DNA post to let fans know who the father of the boy is.

However, Diamond Platnumz already admitted to have fathered the child clearing any rumors making rounds on social media. Prince Abdul Naseeb may look like Jaguar, but truth be told is that these two are not related in any way.

Prince Abdul and Diamond Platnumz other kids

Though Diamond Platnumz rarely spends time with Prince Abdul like her does with Tiffah and Nillan, Hamisa Mobetto has made it her number one priority to give her son all the love he needs.

The Starehe MP cum singer has so far revealed that he has three children and judging from how responsible he looks, I bet he would let the world know if he had another child.

Boni Khalwale to Jaguar: Without those IEBC computers you would now be begging to sing at my son’s wedding

Starehe MP Charles Njagua Kanyi took a shot at Boni Khalwale and he regretted his move. Apparently Jaguar is also ‘kifaranga cha computer’.

The former Kakamega Senator took to Twitter to tell DP William Ruto how ODM defectors in Kakamega county did not help Uhuru get votes in the populous Luhya vote basket.

Khalwale shared figures which showed president Uhuru only managed to get 40,000 votes from the 12 constituencies in Kakamega county.

“I warned @WilliamsRuto that the brokers he was relying on speak only for themselves. Kakamega has 746,800 voters!” Boni Khalwale tweeted.

Jaguar hits back

Jaguar caught a major one and decided to fire back at the former Kakamega senator. The Starehe MP sarcastically said Khalwale should have gotten the rest of the votes to be Kakamega governor.

“He should have used u to get the rest votes the same way u got them to be the Kakamega Governer,” Jaguar tweeted.

Boni hit back at Jaguar by telling him that he was a beneficially of IEBC generated leaders. The former senator says Jaguar would be begging to sing at his son’s wedding if IEBC computers hadn’t chosen him.

“Honourable, pliz count ua blessings. Eti wewe ni MP! Without those IEBC computers u would now be begging to sing at my son’s wedding,” Boni tweeted.

Jaguar and Octopizzo’s beef gains momentum during Thursday repeat presidential election

Jaguar and Octopizzo’s beef started last week on Friday October 20th during Mashujaa Day celebrations. The two celebs rekindled their beef on Thursday October 26th during repeat presidential election.

The beef started when Octo confronted Jaguar claiming he didn’t do anything for Gikomba fire victims. Jaguar had taken to his Twitter handle to wish Kenyans a happy Mashujaa Day before Octo hijacked his tweet.

Octopizzo also criticized Jaguar for failing to condemn the brutal killings of youth. Police gunned down several young men during Nasa demonstrations in Nairobi and Nyanza.

Beef renewed on October 26th

On Thursday Jaguar was quick to mock Octopizzo following the drama in Kibera during repeat presidential election. Kibera Youth barricaded Olympic Primary School and engaged police in running battles in a bid to stop voting in the area.

Jaguar taunted Octopizzo saying he remained silent when the drama happened in Kibera.

“@OCTOPIZZO Kibera youth are engaging authorities in contest even after Nasa leaders urged their supporters to stay away. Yet u remain silent,” Jaguar tweeted.

Octo tweeted back sarcastically saying he would only respond to Jaguar when Gikomba market goes up in flames.

“Today I’ll ignore you coz I can’t reason crying men #StayInYourLaneBruh Ngoja gikomba ichomeke tutaongea,” Octopizzo tweeted.

“My constituents stand to lose 1 billion, this is unacceptable,” Jaguar issues his demand to the IEBC

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has been issued with a fresh demand. This time it’s from Jubilee MP Charles Njagua Kanyi aka Jaguar.

The Starehe MP says that continued Nasa demonstrations are ruining businesses in his constituency. Jaguar therefore wants IEBC to shift its headquarters from Anniversary Towers to Bomas.

Protests come at a significant cost to the economy. Unfortunately my constituency (Starehe) has been caught in the midst of the on going weekly protests. Having IEBC Relocate from Anniversary towers is based largely on economics and not politics. The CBD hosts businesses for Both NASA and Jubilee Supporters,” said Jaguar.

Businesses will lose 1 billion

Jaguar revealed that Kes 100 million is lost whenever Nasa protestors pour out in the streets to demonstrate against IEBC. The Starehe MP estimates that businesses are bound to lose 1 billion with the planned daily Nasa demonstrations.

Jaguar apologizes for getting physical with Babu Owino, but this is what he wants the Embakasi East MP to do!

On Tuesday 10th October Jaguar who is the Starehe Member of Parliament was caught on camera fighting with Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino something that left many Kenyans disappointed to see the two people representing the Youth exchange blows.

With funny meme’s making rounds on social media to troll the two, Jaguar has come out to apologize to Kenyans through a press conference where he was addressing journalists earlier today.

Speaking during the press conference Jaguar refereed to Babu Owino as a friend and had no intentions of getting physical with him. According to Jaguar he only wanted to talk to Babu Owino before the fight broke out. He said,

I just wanted to tell him to respect President Uhuru Kenyatta and not fight with him.

Regretting his actions he went on to add,

I was not elected to fight in parliament. What happened was unfortunate and I will apologize to my friend Babu Owino.

Jaguar however insists that Babu Owino should stop insulting the president and if anything he was the one who started throwing punches at him – and for self defense he had to fight back.

He should stop insulting the president. I have never insulted Raila Odinga…I just approached him to talk but he started shouting at me and started saying that this country does not belong to one community…and I had to act and I just pampered him a bit.

Well since none of us were present at the fight, we hope they both change this and serve the Youths who elected them!

“I acted in self defense” Babu Owino defends himself

Starehe MP Charles Njagua popularly known as Jaguar and Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili aka Babu Owino yesterday were caught on camera trying to tear each other out but thanks to the body guards and security detail the two were stopped before worst come to worst.

A video showing the two fighting and exchanging words has been making rounds on social media pissing off many Kenyans who are now fed up with the ongoing political differences dividing Kenyans.

Anyway, Babu Owino has come out to address the issue claiming that he was only defending himself from Jaguar’s ‘malicious attack’ and will not apologize from his actions.

Speaking with journalists he said:

“I cannot regret because I was defending myself. It was an act of self defense in the face of a malicious attack. If I did not defend myself right now it would be a different story. Embakasi East residents would be missing their MP and Kenyan Citizens would now be mourning”

He went on to add that from how he was attacked by Jaguar, he believes that this had been planned but he has forgiven them as he is a man who obeys the Bible. He said;

“If I did not defend myself I would be dead by now because the way those people came to me was o strange and weird. Seemingly, they also had a group of people they had planned earlier to come and attack me. I will forgive them as the bible says and I will follow the Bible. It is my choice not to report them. As Babu Owino, I am so innocent and I will not follow the law but just forgive them.”

“Huyu mwanaume ananijaribu, let’s talk about how you cheated” Jaguar’s ex girlfriend breathes fire

Starehe MP Charles Njagua Kanyi ‘Jaguar’ has been dragged into an embarrassing scandal by his former girlfriend who decided to expose his philandering ways.

A distraught lady who goes by the name Ani Wams on Instgram took to social media to grumble about how Jaguar was frustrating her. Ani Wams stated that the Starehe MP was still bugging her even after he ruined her life.

Ani Wams

“Huyu mwanaume ananijaribu..#kinuke. charles my kanyi? umenichokesha,” Wrote Ani Wams on one of her posts on Instagram.

The lady further revealed that Jaguar routinely cheated on him to the extend that he fathered two children with other women while they were still dating. (For starters, Jaguar has three children; two daughters and a son, with different women)

“Keep stirring that pot “mheshimiwa”….you can only push me so far …let us talk about how you cheated …let us throw it all the way..let us talk how you cheated on me with magda (had a child)let us talk about how you had another child’ with another ann (stupid ass be more creative)i forgave you.I have been there through thick and thin…but still you want to try me?tell your baby mamas to leave me alone#postanddelete…wazidi kunijaribu…mtalijua jiji,” a vexed Ani Wams wrote.

Raw video of Babu Owino and Jaguar fighting in parliament

Babu Owino and Jaguar were embroiled in a fist fight in parliament on Tuesday 10th October 2017. The two MPs clashed over supremacy battle between their leaders Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta.

The Starehe MP is said to have followed the Embakasi East MP to Parliament Media Centre to ‘teach him a lesson’ for disrespecting Uhuru Kenyatta.

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Jaguar is heard asking where Babu Owino was before he found him and started fighting.

“We will teach you a lesson Babu. You must respect the president” Jaguar shouted.

“Which president? The only president I know is Raila Odinga” Babu Owino replied as other people intervened to stop the fight.

The two MPs went on to fight again outside Parliament Media Centre, the fight was however interrupted as other people quickly intervened:

Jaguar embraces goon mentality as he leads a group of young men to pull down a perimeter wall (Photos)

Starehe MP Charles Njagua Kanyi is following in the footsteps of Kiambu and Nairobi governors Ferdinand Waititu and Mike Sonko were well known hooligans when they served as lawmakers for Embakasi and Makadara constituencies respectively.

Memories of Waititu bringing down fences and building in Embakasi, and Mike Sonko punching walls, are still fresh in our minds. The two former MPs solved problems facing their constituents by bulldozing their way through.

Jaguar who was thought to be fainthearted (he shed tears like a baby when Maina Kamanda was unfairly handed Jubilee nomination certificate for Starehe) has since grown some balls.

The Starehe MP on Thursday September 5th led his constituents to bring down a perimeter wall he says was constructed on a grabbed piece of land.

“Today I Led residents of Nyayo market in demolishing an illegal wall being built by a private developer. The wall is currently blocking Jadongo road.  In my tenure there will be no land grabbing in Starehe. Constituency Land will remain protected and will only be acquired through legal means,” wrote Jaguar.

Jaguar’s three adorable children in one photo, this is enough proof that he has strong genes!

He might be a celebrity and a politician but above all, Jaguar is a father of three adorable kids he rarely parades on his social media pages just to keep them off the public eye.

Anyway, just recently he shared a new photo of his babies rocking matching outfits on his social media pages leaving his fans amazed by how strong his genes are judging from how his kids look exactly like him.

Jaguar’s father David Kanyi is more than Kes 670,000 richer after falling and breaking his leg in a manhole

David Kanyi, the father of Starehe MP, has finally been rewarded after close to 10 years of fighting for his right in the corridors of justice.

Mr. Kanyi sued Nyeri Water and Sewerage Company after he fell and broke his leg in a manhole owned by the water company on October 1st 2008.

Jaguar’s father spent two weeks admitted at the Nyeri General Hospital after he fell and broke his leg. He was rescued from the manhole by a passersby who took him to Mathari hospital before he was transferred to Nyeri General Hospital.

The court moved to the scene of the accident and found that the said manhole was yet to be covered during the hearing of the case.

Nation reports that the magistrate noted that the manhole was at the edge of the road, approximately two and a half metres from the road, and next to a four-feet deep trench.

The discovery made by the court was a major determining factor that made the magistrate to rule in favor of Jaguar’s father. The court ordered Nyeri Water and Sewerage Company to pay Mr. Kanyi Kes 672,000.

Jaguar is a proud father to two kids, a boy and a girl. The Starehe MP threw a birthday party for his son over the past weekend, his baby mama was also in attendance.

Jaguar’s son is the spitting of himself, there is no need for DNA if by chance he tried denying it like Diamond. The Starehe lawmaker held a party for his son as he turned a year old on Sunday September 24th.

The party was like no other ordinary birthday parties, Jaguar sought the service of popular comedian – Chipukeezy who was the MC at the ceremony.

Boniface Mwangi expresses his joy as Steve Mbogo finally challenges Jaguar’s win in court (Photos)

Jaguar clinched Starehe parliamentary seat after beating ODM’s Steve Mbogo and Ukweli party’s Boniface Mwangi in August 8th general election.

The popular singer managed to garner 52,132 votes compared to Mbogo’s 32,357 votes and Boniface Mwangi who bagged 13,413 votes.

Mbogo was quick to dismiss Jaguar’s win right from the word go, the ODM candidate embarked on a mission to gather evidence to prove the singer was unrightfully elected as Starehe MP.

Steve Mbogo at his office preparing documents to present in court to challenge Jaguar’s win

“We are not to simply bandage the wounds of victims beneath the wheels of injustice, we are to drive a spoke into the wheel itself. Filing my petition tomorrow at 9am … Starehe constituents have spoken ….. Justice must prevail…..” Mbogo wrote a day before he finally filed the petition in court challenging Jaguar’s win.

Mbogo through his lawyer Anthony Oluoch filed the petition in court yesterday September 6th; he claimed that he has hard evidence to prove the Returning Officer selectively manipulated and deliberately distorted votes cast in Starehe.

Boniface Mwangi was excited by Steve Mbogo’s move to challenge Jaguar’s win in court. He was confident that the court would annul the results of Starehe constituency.

“Starehe’s MP aspirant Steve Mbogo files petition challenging Starehe MP Charles Njagua’s win. Says election wasn’t free and fair. Looks like we might have a by-election in Starehe in the near future. For those who voted for me, thank you. l shall be coming back to ask you and your friends to vote for me. #StareheNiBonnie” wrote Boniface Mwangi.

Starehe Constituency MP Jaguar drops yet another banging song hours after being sworn to office (Video)

He is back with a new song dubbed ”Ndoto”. The song talks about his life journey till where he is today. Speaking to us, Jaguar said that Ndoto aims to be an inspiration to the Kenyan youth who are working hard to achieve their dreams.

Over the past years, Jaguar has been a role model and a major inspiration to the Kenyan youth through his empowerment programs under the Jaguar foundation.

Such positive deeds saw him being appointed as a NACADA director by president Uhuru Kenyatta last year. A position where he proved to deliver his best in the fight against the drug menace in our country.

Now that Jaguar has been elected as the Starehe member of parliament after beating veteran politician Maina Kamanda, flamboyant city businessman Steve Mbogo and activist Boniface Mwangi, he hopes to deliver his best to the people of Starehe.

His closeness to the Nairobi governor Mike Sonko and President Uhuru Kenyatta clearly act as a major boost to his constituency development plan.

When we asked him if he will continue releasing songs after being elected, Jaguar said that Music to him is like a career which he will not abandon any time soon. He said;

“I am in this for the long haul. I ain’t quitting.”

Starehe MP Jaguar releases new song to assure his fans he won’t quit music

Speculation ran rife that Jaguar had quit music for good after he was elected to parliament as Starehe MP. But now it turns out that he will still be dropping songs while he serves his constituents and country.

Jaguar made forays as a recording artiste in 2004 when he recorded and released his first single ‘Utaweza Kweli’ under the Mandugu Digitali record label.

The singer was elected to parliament when he was still on top of his game, the reason why he finds it hard to quit music and focus on his new duties as an MP.

Jaguar assured his fans that he will still be releasing new song even as he continues to serve as Starehe MP. To prove his word, he announced the launch of his new song dubbed ‘Ndoto’.

“New Single Alert; #Ndoto. Its now close to two decades since I first set foot into a recording studio. I thank God for this gift that has over the years been an inspiration to millions of listeners in my country and beyond. I thank all those who’ve walked with me through my musical journey; My overwhelming fans, fellow musicians, producers, deejays, presenters, promoters, corporates. To assure you I will not quit on music,” Jaguar wrote in part.

He confirmed that ‘Ndoto’ will be hitting the airwaves by tomorrow September 1st;

“As I take oath of office to serve Starehe Constituents, I will also be releasing a new single tomorrow for my East African fans and the Diaspora. Song titled #Ndoto Produced by @mainswitchgroup #stayinspired.”

“She’s not here to see how her son turned out to be”Jaguar celebrates his late mother in emotional post

Charles Njagua Kanyi popularly known as Jaguar has achieved it all but his heart is still heavy with sorrow because his mother is not there to witness how he made it.

Jaguar lost his mother Nancy Wambui Kanyi, who was the sole guardian, in 1994 when he was only 11 years old. He was forced to enroll in informal employment working several odd jobs to earn a living.

The singer made forays as a recording artiste in 2004 when he recorded and released his first single ‘Utaweza Kweli’ under the Mandugu Digitali record label.

Jaguar decided to join politics after 13 years as an A-list musician in Kenya. His first stab at the Starehe parliamentary seat landed him in 12th parliament.

The singer is impressed by his achievements but only wishes that his late mother could have lived longer to watch his little son succeed.

“When I was young n going through many hardships,I promised my mum that id make her proud one day….sadly 17 yrs down the line, she is not here to see how her little son turned out to be.Everything in God’s time….Forever in my heart mama,” Jaguar celebrated his late mother in an emotional post on social media.

Jaguar finally declares his stand on SRC’s new proposed salary package for MPs

Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) chairperson Sarah Serem intends to reduce lawmakers’ salary but a section of legislators are adamant that their salaries shouldn’t be slashed at all while others support the move.

SRC unveiled a new pay structure before August 8th election that slashed MPs salaries from Kes 710,000 to Kes 621, 250 per month.

Sitting allowances for committee meetings were fixed at a maximum of Kes 80,000 for members and Kes 128,000 for chairpersons while mileage reimbursement was removed.

MPs also lost their car grant of Kes 5 million and will instead be entitled to a Kes 7 million car loan in addition to Kes 20 milliom mortgage.

So far Nyali MP Mohamed Ali, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and Starehe MP Jaguar are the only lawmakers who have publicly supported SRC’s new salary package for MPs.

“Just to categorically state; I am not in support of a pay rise. Count me out. #MPsPay #mwamkompya #starehe,” Jaguar tweeted.

The Starehe MP was however forced to clearly state his position as his earlier tweet was clearly understood by some people.

The Kenya we want! 5 politicians who met their rivals while campaigning exchanged pleasantries and went their way peacefully

Section of Kenyan politicians has demonstrated maturity in politics like what we see in Western countries. These politicians went against tradition to do what wowed Kenyans.

In Kenya, whenever supporters of rival politicians or political factions meet in the campaign trail, chaos is usually what follows. The level of intolerance in Kenyan political scene is sickening.

But there have been events that indicate we are heading in the right direction; politicians meeting their rivals in the campaign trail and exchanging pleasantries instead of fighting.

Below are the few politicians who have demonstrated maturity:

Wycliffe Oparanya

Kakamega governor who is seeking re-election on ODM ticket was lauded after he was seen waving and exchanging pleasantries with Jubilee supporters while on a campaign trail in his county. Oparanya asked his supporters to desist from witch hunt and hate.

Johnson Sakaja

Jubilee candidate for Nairobi senatorial seat lit up social media when he posted a photo of his interaction with Nasa supporters.

“Stopped to say hi to these NASA supporters who were heading to their own political engagements earlier today. Great interaction. #SiasaSafi” Sakaja tweeted on July 15th.

Boniface Mwangi and Jaguar

Jubilee candidate for Starehe parliamentary seat Charles Kanyi Njagua alias Jaguar and Ukweli Party candidate Boniface Mwangi met during their campaign trail at Kariokor market.

Evans Kidero

Nairobi governor Evans Kidero who is seeking re-election on ODM party ticket caused tongues to wag when he interacted with Jubile supporters on Friday, August 4th.

Kidero ran into Jubilee supporters while he was campaigning in Embakasi and he ended up waving and exchanging pleasantries with residents who bore Jubilee-branded shirts.

This is the powerful photo of Jaguar that all Kenyans should emulate!

It’s 5 days to the elections and from the stories making rounds on social media, seems that there are a few Kenyans trying to brew issues that are not relevant!

Well, we all saw what happened in 2007/2008 but we refuse to be used again as we are all Kenyans…one blood despite the various tribes we have.

As many fear and try to rush back to their villages…the likes of Jaguar are already getting on their knees to pray for peace and unity in Kenya.

This is something we should all be doing at this point remembering that at the end of the day these politicians promoting disputes will be safe at their posh houses while the rest of us remain struggling with our lives as usual!

Peace and change begins with you! Refuse to be part of violence and shedding of innocent blood!

Jaguar said.
