Kanze Reloaded!! Kenyans happy with Kanze Dena’s first press briefing

Citizen TV anchor Kanze Dena was recently appointed the Deputy State House spokesperson and took leadership of the communication teams focusing on the President’s brand positioning, media relations and messaging in regard to the delivery of the Big Four agenda.

The 39-year-old Kanze had developed a close working relationship with Lulu Hassan whom she has been co-hosting Swahili news with for years and left her in tears on the last day before leaving.

Dena has now given her first press briefing and it seems Kenyans are really glad she was given the job. Most Kenyans took to share their views on the her first expressing that she doing a good job.

Citizen TV anchor Kanze Dena was recently appointed the Deputy State House spokesperson and will take leadership of the communication teams focusing on the President’s brand positioning, media relations and messaging in regard to the delivery of the Big Four agenda.

With almost two decades of experience since she started at KBC and moving to Citizen TV where she worked as a director and news anchor, Dena is now Itumbi’s boss. Itumbi is earning half a million every month.

Dena will be earning a clean KSh 800,000 monthly, almost 4 times the amount she used to get while at Citizen TV. On top of her basic pay, she will be entitled to house allowance(or a house), bodyguards, medical cover and a host of other attractive benefits.

Kanze Dena bids her late dad goodbye as they finally laid him to rest!

Citizen TV’s Swahili news anchor Kanze Dena lost her dad about a week ago as revealed on her Instagram page. She described him as a leader and a man who had raised both her and her siblings in the best possible way.

Being the second parent she was losing, Kanze Dena could not hold back from promising both her late parents that she will take care of her siblings – being the eldest.

Through her Instagram page, Kanze Dena eulogized her dad by saying;

President Uhuru’s condolences message to Kanze Dena’s late dad

Being a community leader and a man who helped many, Kanze Dena’s dad Mr Stephen Kitao was also known by the president. After learning about his untimely death Uhuru Kenyatta eulogized him in the message below:

“It is with grief and a deep sense of loss that I learnt of the death of Mr Stephens and I convey my deep sympathies and heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives and friends,”
