“Thank God I don’t have children with him“ Lady Jay Dee speaks about ex husband years after bitter divorce

Bongo singer Lady Jay Dee recently celebrated 20 years of being in the music industry! Indeed it has been a journey full of laughter, tears and above all, good music!

While in the music business Jay Dee got to meet Gardner who married and lived with her for 9 years. At first their union seemed to be headed the right direction until Gardner started eyeing other women on the side!

Of course this led to nasty fights, arguments and the fact Jay Dee had not yet conceived for Gardner only made things worse for their marriage.

Contented with break up

With time the two decided to walk away from their marital home; a decision Lady Jaydee remains grateful for having made!

She opened once more about this during her recent interview with Clouds FM where refuted claims of being bitter following her divorce in 2016. The singer opened up saying;

We were married for nine years and were both at fault because we are all human and make mistakes. I can’t speak for him, but on my part, I have closed that chapter and will never go back to him. We are just friends although at first, we feuded, something that happens with divorcing couples. Now we drink wine together. I even know his new lover and we get along.

Childlessness

Although she may have wanted to be a mother, Jay Dee is among the few female celebrities with no children. We cannot confirm whether there is medical reason behind her childlessness or whether she chose this for herself!

However what we can confirm is that Jaydee is happy to have walked out of her marriage with no child! She made this known during her interview where she said;

My marriage didn’t work out. I was not happy at all and that’s why I decided not to carry on. My husband was cheating on me and had become a drunkard, while I was working so hard and giving the relationship all that I was able to. I am just happy and thank God that I don’t have children with him.

Award-winning Tanzanian musician Rajab Abdul Kahali, better known as Harmonize, has released a new track with his country mate Lady Jaydee and it’s getting a lot of love from their fans.

The song dubbed Wife, which is off Harmonize’s Afro East album, has been ruling the airwaves since it was released a few days ago and to be honest, we also love it.

Basically, this track is about a man who is so interested in a certain lady so much so that he wants to seal their union through marriage so that they can spend the rest of their lives together.

Harmonize claims that he is tired of being a bachelor, adding that he is no longer a player. Interestingly, the lady also says that she is ready to be his wife because he has changed his life.

Wife is really infectious, I’ve listened to it a couple of times since it was released and every time I play it, it’s like I am hearing it for the very first time.

Harmonize came through on this jam. God gave him an amazing voice and he knows how to put it into good use, take for instance this song where he does an exceptional job on his verse as well as the hook.

This guy sings from his heart and as you listen to him, you get to connect on a deeper level. At some point, it felt like a live performance of the song but then again maybe it’s just me.

As expected, Lady Jaydee, who is famed for her Yahaya hit also did an amazing job on this jam. She spiced it up with her amazing vocals and literally breathed life into it.

Her voice blends well with that of Harmonize so much so that I think they should quit their solo careers and become a duo. Okay, I am joking but you get my point, don’t you?

The beat and instrumentation on Wife are impeccable. Other than the fact that they blend really well with the vocals of the artists, it is also danceable and I honestly can’t wait to see people busting moves to it.

Lady Jaydee gets real in new single titled ‘Mwambie Ukweli’ (Video)

Award-winning Tanzanian songstress Judith Wambura Mbibo, popularly known as Lady Jaydee, has released a new jam and it’s totally worth your time.

The song titled Mwambie Ukweli, which loosely translates to tell him/her the truth, is off her recently released album dubbed Shukrani.

Basically this jam is all about parents getting real with their children and in so doing, they will save thier lives. I don’t know why but I sort of got the feeling like this song is about parents telling thier kids that AIDS is real.

That said, I really love this track. However, the first time I listened to it , I didn’t think it was all that because it is too slow and it just makes you sad, But you know what? It grew in me eventually.

Apart from the fact that it carries a powerful message, I have always loved Lady Jaydee’s voice – from the early 2000s when I first heard a song by her. She could be singing about tomatoes and I’ll still listen.

As I said earlier, the beat on this jam is too damn slow. Not that it’s bad and you don’t expect a jam with a very strong message like this one to have a fast tempo, do you? I’m just saying that the producer could have worked on it more.

Lady Jaydee has teamed up with Uganda’s Mad Ice on ‘Nishike Mkono’ and it’s totally awesome (Audio)

Award-winning Tanzanian singer Lady Jaydee, formally known as Judith Wambura Mbibo, has released a new song with Uganda’s Ahmed Mohamed Kakoyi, alias Mad Ice, and it’s a banger. No, like really.

The song titled Nishike Mkono, which is a Swahili word that means hold my hands, is about sticking with the person that you love through thick and thin.

It also urges lovers not to listen to people who want to destroy what they have because it’s rare and that they should not change after being with each other for a long time.

I love this song because it speaks to the heart and soul. Chances are you’ll call your partner to tell them that you love them after listening to this song.

As expected, Lady Jaydee really came through in this jam. She has this melodious voice that most men, including me, would not mind listening to all day. The powerful message in her words just spices things up.

Mad Ice also nailed it. This chap has a unique tenor and it really stands out. Other than Lady Jaydee’s glorious voice, he’s certainly the other reason why I had this song on replay for a whole afternoon.

Although both Lady Jaydee and Mad Ice really delivered on this jam, I was not impressed by the instrumentation or the beat. I just felt that the producer did not put his best foot forward but then again maybe it’s just me.

Tanzanian singer Lady Jaydee has left his fans in a bitter mood after taking to instagram to share several photos wearing a see through dress.

Jaydee, who has been featured by singer Linex in his new song “Too late” shared the photos on social media and captioned: Nimefunika kitovu, je! Inatosha??

Fans however, didn’t like her post and complained that she’s shouldn’t wear such cloths.

Criticism

After the complains, the singer was forced to defend herself saying that why aren’t guys not talking about her good photos only complaining about the bad.

“Hivi wale watu wa maadili mbona picha za hivi huwa hamlike wala hamcomment kwa wingi mkiwekewa? Haya maadili hayo hapo sasa inakuwaje? Mbona hamsifii, ila binadamu ni wanafiki sana sijapata kuona”. she posted. 

 

Lady Jaydee finally comes clean about her suicidal thought

On September 26th 2018, Tanzanian songbird Lady Jaydee scared her fans on social media when she announced that she had contemplated taking her own life.

The ‘Yahaya’ hit maker took to Twitter to reveal that she was contemplating ingesting poison but only restrained herself after remembering how far she has come.

Lady Jaydee has finally opened up about contemplating suicide. She first apologized for tweeting about her suicidal thoughts without going into the details about what pushed her to contemplate taking her own life.

“First of all, I apologize. It was just a tweet. I choose not to talk about it,” said Jaydee during an interview with LilOmmy.

She added that;

“I don’t think a tweet like that can make someone give up. There are people that i looked up to in music who had done bad things, they had fallen, they went through trouble. But that gave me strength more than weakness. Like Whitney Houston, who is my number one. If she decided to get into drugs, I haven’t gotten into drugs. If anyone decides to get into something by following a bad example, then that’s their decision, they shouldn’t blame anyone. You are the one to choose what’s good for you. There are things you do that turn out to be lessons.”

Suicide shouldn’t have crossed your mind

Ray C has come out to lecture Lady Jaydee after she contemplated suicide. The ‘Moto Moto’ hit maker said she should be the one contemplating suicide not Lady Jaydee.

Ray C struggled with drug addiction and had several relapses before she finally won the battle against drug use. She was rescued from a suicide attempt two years ago after she suffered a relapse.

“Kama kuna mtu alietakiwa kufanya hili nadhani mi ndio ningekuwa wa kwanza!Kama ni kweli haya maneno umeandika wewe naomba shetani ashindwe kabisa!naelewa umepitia mengi kikazi na kifamilia ila katika watu wabishi ninaowaaminia na kuwaheshimu kwenye hii industry wewe pia umo so pls usirudie haya maneno tena!na yafute kwenye nafsi yako!Mungu hapendi…..Love you,” Ray C told Lady Jaydee in a message on social media.

Tanzanian singer Lady Jaydee can’t just hide the love she has for her Nigerian boyfriend Chibuikem Nwanegbo aka Spicy.

The singer was on social media recently to show she’s really hooked, penning down a lovely later for him as he celebrated his birthday.

“Today is a special day because it marks your birthday. I’m wishing you good health, success in your business and many more years in your life. For a period that we have been together, you have proved to be a true pillar of support during my struggle.

“I cherish your love and care because you have made me stronger in my daily trials. You’re my rock. Thank you for always being here when i need a shoulder to cry on. I love you today, tomorrow and yesterday. Happy birthday,’’ She posted on social media.

Jaydee is coming off a divorce with  Gardner G Habash. She said that she fell for the Nigerian producer and their love has been going strong ever since they hooked up.

Tanzania song bird Lady Jaydee seems tired of people asking when she will get a child. In fact from her recent comment concerning the same issue she came out strong saying that people should let her be and focus on their lives.

Just like Wema Sepetu, Lady Jaydee has not had the opportunity of having her own child. She however avoids talking about this issue saying it is a private matter concerning her life.

But fans always seem to ask questions as to why she has not had a child despite her age. Most Tanzanian celebrities who came before and after her are already raising families…but as for Jaydee the miracle is yet to happen.

About a year ago Jaydee finally filed a divorce from her ex husband, Gardner, who is said to have been cheating on his wife. According to news outlets the fella came out to say that he only did this because his wife was not conceiving and he felt like time was running out.

Is Taurus Muzik Signing Tanzanian song bird Lady Jaydee?

Kenyan based record label, Taurus Muzik, is being rumored to be cooking something fierce for the Kenyan Entertainment industry.

Taurus Muzik has previously signed Dela Maranga, Kagwe Mungai and Zambian boy-band ‘Urban Hype’. From what we hear the team is about to expand immensely.

Rumor also has it that that the record label is in the process of breaking boarders by signing other artists from East and Central Africa.

The new artist to be signed

After confirming divorce rumors, Tanzania’s musical icon, Lady Jaydee is yet again making the headlines with fresh rumors that she is to be signed with a Kenyan based record label.

Though this has not been confirmed, the songstress is said to be following the record label keenly on social media. Also word has it that she has already started working with them on a couple of projects.
