Lilian Muli is the type of friend who will keep Betty Kyallo single for a very long time. Why am I making this assertion? Because the truth is that single women keep women single. And they achieve this by validating rubbish behaviour and feeding their egoes.

You see, Betty Kyallo is clearly a terrible partner. We know this because all her relationships have ended in disaster. She was even married at one point in her life and that ended prematurely in a rather spectacular way.

Her ex-husband, Denis Okari has largely remained tight lipped as to what happened but the people around him have sometimes spoken on the situation in his defence and while she alleges emotional abuse and neglect, the fact that we all saw her relationship with an outgoing Mombasa Governor and then we did the mathematics to figure out when they started dating did away with her narrative.

I have a friend who always tells me never to take advice from anyone I am not truly envious of. I have to want what you have in your life for me to even consider approaching you for advice. And Lilian is a disaster as far as relationships are concerned.

And this is something that I find equally interesting and jarring. We have Betty Kyallo who clearly isn’t done trying to find love turning to her friend who has a rather crappy track record in that field. So we know neither holds the other accountable for their decisions and mistakes.

Betty Kyallo needs someone who will teach her how to make herself more suitable for a relationship. Instead, she hangs out with someone who tells her she is perfect as she is and the man who wants her will accept her as is. That is trash advice. And it will only result in her being ran through by a plethora of men, further reducing her already low relationship value.

I am sure in the next 5 years we will be treated to a collaboration of both Betty Kyallo and Lilian Muli shaming Kenyan men who are too smart to tolerate being in a relationship with them.

Lilian Muli is once again in the headlines as she has to defend herself as netizens call her out for her inability to sustain her relationship status at anything other than single. And trust that the rather rough streets of Twitter was where all this drama kicked off as one of her fans (or is it more accurate to call him a hater?) called her out and asked for clarification.

It also doesn’t help that she fits the bill for what most Kenyans would consider a feminist who has failed at marriage -this perception is borne out of a lack of understanding of who or what a feminist is and any woman who can arguably be termed as difficult often automatically gets cast into the mold.

To make matters worse, the man who called her out is not only younger than her but also came out to reveal that he has had a crush on her for the longest of times and has been bewildered as to why she is unable to get and keep a man:

So what’s the deal wit Lilian Muli? Who by the way was married at one point to Jared Nevaton and things got hectic when he was accused of bigamy. And to make matters worse, she was married even before that to Moses Kanene but that marriage imploded with her accusing him of being violent and she in turn being accused of infidelity.

Somethings got to give. Perhaps the main issue here is the fact that she has not sought therapy and counselling for her past relationship traumas. Or perhaps its down to the fact that she has dealt with so many men she has damaged her ability to pair bond? Lilain Muli has made no excuses for herself in as far as her search for love goes and its no secret that she has kissed her own fair share of frogs. But this often has a deleterious effect on any woman’s capacity to get with one man and then stay with him because she’s always comparing him to her past flings and lovers.

Or perhaps its the fact that she is a single mother that has put off any serious, self respecting man? Lord knows there are zero benefits that accrued by any man foolish enough to try and get wit a single mother like Lilian Muli. But I would be remiss not to let you know that she has revealed she’s not single. And while she has not mentioned the man she is with, she had formerly referred to her most recent baby daddy, Jared Nevaton her community husband so maybe, just maybe, they are still a thing? Or perhaps she’s referring to her sugar baby? The young man that she has been spotted with on occasion.

Lilian Muli has decided to treat her fans to some innocuous bikini shots that were taken while she was on some sponsored content vacation courtesy of Bonfire Adventures. Or so it would seem to the untrained eye.

For the more seasoned sleuth like you and eye (gerrit?) we are aware of one fact that changes our understanding of the photos in question. That fact is that she said she usually does the chasing and hunting of men. Of course, I would be remiss to point out the fact that she later recanted that statement but you cannot unring a bell once it has peeled.

So let us do some quick math.

And this is all going to lead down to her hunting for a husband because at the end of the day, to share with you some advice my mentor gave me, “Watch what they do, not what they say”. And Lilian Muli has left an entire loaf, leave alone the crumbs, that help us get right to her intent.

Her words fly in the face of her actions. So it really is only a matter of time until she unveils her next ~~victim~~ lover who himself will most likely be a well to do businessman probably with a wife in tow tucked away somewhere or with a few divorces to his name.

Whatever the case may be, I most certainly guarantee that this thirst trapping is for the benefit of any man thinking about shooting his shot.

I must admit that I was only just reminded of it in a recent conversation I was having with a friend of mine about the fact that Ms Muli declared that she doesn’t get a lot of cheesy pick-up lines used on her because she is usually the one doing the pursuing of men.

That broke my heart because it is an admission that Lilian Muli is making that reveals to anyone with an IQ above room temperature that the men who used to pursue her, all the men who used to hit up her phone line -all those men that were of value have since moved on. That means that whenever she is in an area with high-value men, she ends up having to do the pursuing. This situation reminds me of a word that most women Lilian Muli’s age and who are single understand: humility.

You see, Ms Muli was once one of the hottest brands on television. She was once counted among the hottest young things that made many a man and older boy tune in to watch prime time news. Those days are now long gone and the only things she has to show for them are a broken marriage and memories.

Yet in 2020 we find ourselves in a situation where Lilian Muli has to do the chasing. We find ourselves in situations in which we can easily recollect her failed relationship with Jared Nevaton that culminated in an explosive post on her Instagram account in which she accused him of being a community husband. Clearly Ms Muli wants to settle down and get to experience her happily ever after. Afterall, her ex-husband has found his.

And this isn’t a dig at her, I am truly sympathetic to the fact that she is buzzer-beating. She is clearly racing against time because men value youth and as each day rolls by, father time cruelly strips her of this. And that leaves her options for a happily ever after down to divorcees and polygamists and perhaps that is just the silver lining this opinion piece should end on.

Lilian Muli is busy sharing relationship advice that basically attacks an unnamed but easily identifiable man whom she feels took her for granted and refused to give her the “happily ever after” she feels she is due.

Whenever she shares romantic advice, it is to encourage women not to fall for slick-tongued men who simply are out to collect notch-counts on their bedposts. Never mind that she is a woman at the cusp of mid-life who cannot identify men who just want a quick and convenient lay or a situation at best especially given her experience at love with a failed relationship. It’s almost as if in her case, the experience was wasted.

When you read her diatribe about the man in question, it is often blistering and accusatory in nature. And given she had in the past accused her new baby daddy, Jared Nevaton of being a community husband, we can only assume she has been talking about some other man.

Anyway, if you base your decisions on her, you will find that she is actually misleading people with her speech. Watch what she does, not what she says because while you are being advised to dig in for a battle with your significant other, while you are being advised to antagonize that young man trying to date you with outlandish standards and demands that you yourself do not merit, Lilian Muli is busy co-parenting with Jared Nevaton and she looks happy as her youngest son grow us with both parents involved.

That would mean that she is is busy trying to give her son by Jared Nevaton the opportunity to grow up with his father in his life yet her advice is usually for women not to settle for “community husbands” without also advising them to still allow those same men to have a relationship with their offspring.

Lilian Muli is upset once more after coming to the realization that her choice of man, partner, husband (community or otherwise) and father of her youngest son is not exactly keen on monogamy.

You see, she chose to have a relationship with a man most people warned her wasn’t quite cut out for monogamy. And when these naysayers and her common sense appealed to her to come to her sense, she simply called them all out for being haters. now Lilian Muli is left crying and announcing to us about the fact she is now single.

Lilian Muli took to her social media to post some solipsistic post seemingly painting herself as a victim of a man who only wanted her as a trophy.

The only regret I have in life is settling for less when I could have had so much more. Set your standards and stick to them unapologetically.

I’m officially single and will now focus on raising my boys. As public figures we meet all sorts of people and most just want trophies whether you are well known or not be very careful who you allow into your life don’t go giving your heart to everyone.

Sociopaths will keep you entangled in their web of lies and you will be one of their many victims. When you actually believe someone is true to you only to find out they are community husbands you are safer stepping aside.

What you will notice about this emotional outburst is the lack of accountability. Lilian Muli has refused to own up to the fact that she chose her partner poorly. At the end of the day, no one is responsible for giving you a better life. You are the only person responsible for giving yourself the life you want.

And this brings into focus Lilian Muli who decided to get involved with Jared Nevaton then get a child by him. Why? For two reasons, the first being that she as an adult made the decision to get involved with him and secondly, for the fact that she was open about her former marriage.

This is not Lilian Muli’s first time at the rodeo. She was married. When that marriage ended, she cried about it having been a waste of her time. Six years to be exact. But she didn’t learn anything from the experience. Let that sink in. Lilian Muli created a life for herself with a man of her choosing. They created a little human being as a result of their union. That marriage, unfortunately, fell apart. When it did, she moved on with life and did not learn a single lesson because she moved on to another relationship (eventually) that resulted in yet another human being getting created and this time she still made the same mistakes and ended up in a temporary situation.

That simply means that all her crying and distress was brought about by her decisions. We could say she was fooled and perhaps that is truly the case but given her statements about her failed marriage, the adage “fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me” comes to mind.

And that brings us to the crux of the matter. perhaps Lilian Muli should swallow some humble pie and accept that she is beyond her prime for any high value, or even simply high-net-worth man. She comes with two issues that are significant baggage for any man: her loss of youth (she is no spring chicken) and secondly, she comes with two children.

This means that the type of men who would be willing to settle down with her would either be divorcees, boring but safe men and men who already have wives and children of their own. And each category of men come with their own issues. Divorcees clearly have issues that led to their situations. Perhaps their issue is poor decision-making skills or they directly contributed to the divorce.

With boring men, to be fair these are the men who would gladly play to her tune but she will forever know she simply settle to allow them to make an honest woman of her.

And then there are the polygamists. Usually, these men are wealthy so that side of the equation would be sorted. Then, given her advanced age and loss of youth, she would know to play her position and not be a threat to the already present wife/ wives. Everyone wins here. And this should come easy to her because while she was with child, The Nairobian revealed that Jared Nevaton was still married to an American and she fought for and defended him so she has been practising to be a co-wife.

Lilian Muli was recently on social media dishing out the dirt on her love life and the most recent man she got involved with, Jared Nevaton. Before we go any further, it should be acknowledged that Jared Nevaton isn’t exactly the Alejandro telenovela archetype. It was even reported that he had a wife in America who he had neglected to divorce.

The funny thing is that everyone could see the red flags this man walks around with except Lilian Muli. Now, I am not sure whether his charm is what ensnared or whether it was the fact that he is a tycoon that made her overlook his track record with women. But whatever the case may be, no one should feel bad for Lilian Muli.

The Citizen TV news anchor recently took to her social media handle to decry the fact that she felt she had wasted her time dating the wrong man and while some women decided to cheer her on, a lot of men could see just how cringeworthy the post was.

Never mind that the post was about Lilian Muli excusing her poor judgement but at the end of the day, the post which was about how she wasted her time on Jared Nevaton was jarring because it showed any potential men that she has poor decision-making skills.

Lilian Muli’s new show to be called the ‘Hot Threesome’

Citizen TV presenter Lilian Muli is about to add a new category in her resume.

Muli has just announced that she will be hosting a new radio show dubbed ‘The Hot 3some’ alongside Prof Hamo every Monday from 6 am – 10 am. It will be the first time the popular screen Siren is hosting a radio show.

Taking to social media, Muli launched the show saying it’s one of the reasons why she had taken a social media break.

“The early bird catches the worm! Get your week started early and it will be a successful one.@hot96fmkenya I take my coffee black with one teaspoon of sugar what about you? Tea or coffee? Let’s talk at 6 a.m. tomorrow. It’s a date!” she posted.

Vera Sidika alongside several other TV ladies has been named among the top 100 gold diggers in Kenya by a controversial newspaper.

The list which has gone viral has named Vera at number two. Taking to Instagram, the socialite said that the report was nothing but gutter press.

“Kenyans, my pal from Sweden sent me this in this in the afternoon. It’s so funny but if you all gotta put me on any list, make sure I take the number 1 spot” reacted Vera Sidika.

After seven years since their ugly divorce, Moses Kanene, the man who had married Citizen TV news anchor Lilian Muli, has found a new flame.

On social media, Kanene posted a string of photos flaunting his new lover Grace Nungari looking all happy and cute leaving many awed.

Muli and Kanene divorced in 2016 after Muli claimed that her husband is adulterous, having cheated on her with several women before deserting her. The two were married in September 2009 and have an 11-year-old-boy.

Asked about Kanene moving on with new lover, Muli was more than happy for him.

“I really don’t have anything more to say we’ve been separated seven years dear. Plus why should I deny him happiness and I found happiness too. It’s all good.” she said after being approached by Mpasho.

Muli, who is now with Jared Ombongi, said that they still co-parent.

“Moses loves his son and we are co-parenting,” she added.

Gospel singer Stephen Kasolo was the first artist to feature Citizen TV news anchor Lilian Muli in a music video and apparently he didn’t take it lightly.

Speaking in an interview, the singer shared that Muli is a good friend of his and that’s why he decided to feature her in his song Kyaa Kya Ngai (Finger of God).

“Lilian is a friend. She has been sharing my music and when we met, I asked her to feature in the song,” Kasolo told Word Is.

The Kamba artist topped headlines a few months ago after featuring Muli in his song as a vixen. Fans were also happy that Muli supported him. Kasola promised another collabo might be on the way.

Politician Babu Owino had a very cheeky response after a fan asked him whether he has seen Lilian Muli’s baby because he resembles him.

Just like her other past break-ups, Lilian Muli believes she’s glowing and feeling much better after her recent one with the father of her second son, Jared Nevaton.

The mother of two took to social media to share stunning photos of herself with a message directed to her ex, quoting Alicia Keys’ song “Brand New Me” to show she has moved.

“It’s been a while, I’m not who I was before
You look surprised, your words don’t burn me anymore
Been meaning to tell you, but I guess it’s clear to see
Don’t be mad, it’s just the brand new kind of me
Can’t be bad, I found a brand new kind of free,” she posted the lyrics with a few photos.

But has she really moved on?

Many Kenyans believe she has actually moved back after she took to social media to share several photos with her ex-husband Moses Njuguna Kanene after the break with Nevaton.

A quick history about the two; they were once married but had an ugly divorce which left Muli accusing him of cheating (just like Nevaton) and domestic violence.

For a person who has been scrutinized by Kenyans after her marriage broke lose only six months after exchanging vows, news anchor Betty Kyalo has learned a lot from the tormenting experience.

The news anchor took to social media to console fellow news anchor Lilian Muli after her ugly break up with rich hubby Jared Ombongi. According to Betty, people shouldn’t judge her because of her public meltdown. It only shows she’s a human being just like any other.

Muli made the announcement on 24th saying that Ombongi was cheating on him with several women. In return, Ombongi claimed that she the one who had several lovers. Betty asked Muli to keep doing her own thing and stop minding the haters.

Despite being a well-followed, and controversial figure, Citizen TV news anchor Janet Mbugua has never had a Vlog.

The popular news anchor took to instagram recently to share that she’s however planning to join a list of other media personalities that have joined the vloggin business with her very own YouTube Channel.

Muli plans to start an online show that will discuss biting social topics. The show will not only have a panel but also a small audience.

I’m so excited because finally I can put out content on issues I’ve always felt needed a platform to be discussed without holding back. Lilian Muli’s second baby is on the way and a lot of guys have been visiting her or just checking up to see how she’s doing.

It seems however, two childhood friends she lost contacts with long ago decided to pay her a rather surprise visit, a thing that left her more than excited. It meant so much.

She took to Instagram to ask her fans to always maintain that bond with her childhood friends.

“My childhood friends Ciru and Njeri visited me over the weekend. I was sad that we all grew up and went separate ways…sometimes didn’t speak for years; but as we spoke I realized some bonds cannot be broken by time spent apart,” said Muli in the post.

“It’s sad that we subconsciously forget those who were there from the beginning to accommodate newcomers who are only there because they like what the finished product looks like. Remember your childhood friends; they were there when you were a work in progress and they Loved you just as you were. It’s beautiful to make new friends in every season of our lives but they should never take the place of those that knew us and appreciated us when the Potter was still working on us.”

Lilian Muli is currently vacationing at Swahili Beach Resort where she also had her baby moon. The Citizen TV news anchor has been sharing the photos online giving fans a taste of how her holiday is coming through.

The trip, which has been sponsored by a local tours company is all about relaxing and finding her true self as she waits for her second child.

“This baby moon was so important to me because i needed time to reflect. I’ve been up and down and just felt so exhausted all of a sudden. I also needed time to think about my future plans, bearing in mind i am carrying my second child. Securing my children’s future is my top priority,” she said in an interview with the Star.

“My pregnancy photoshoot was inspired by the fact that i didn’t do it during my first pregnancy and have always wondered why i did not. Pregnancy changes a woman. You may not believe this if you are pregnant, but it is such a beautiful season for a woman, and you need to embrace it and celebrate it.”

Lilian Muli: I can’t tolerate bullying

Citizen TV’s Lilian Muli is one lady who has persevered a lot to reach the position she currently holds at Royal Media. It’s like every major thing she does, Kenyans mock her. But what most don’t know is that she grew up around bullies as a young kid so she knows how to deal with such people.

“I come from a background of bullying even when I was a small girl in school,” said Muli in an interview.

“When somebody says something bad about me, it comes from a very personal place in me. It is always an instinct to react because I grew up fighting bullies and I am not gonna take that as an adult.”

Fighting for girls

Muli has been trolled several times by Kenyans but that has never stopped her from following her desires. She said that what keeps her going also is the fact that she knows she fighting for many other girls out there who look up to her.

“When I speak up, I always speak up for every other girl that is getting bullied or even a woman who is pushed in whatever way by a partner or a colleague at work who is male.” she said.

Citizen TV news anchor Lillian Muli has come out to confess that she struggled with alcohol and stress after her ugly divorce in 2016. The news anchor was married to Moses Njuguna Kanene for 7 years but was forced to end the marriage after it hit rock bottom and he become violent.

“I started drinking a lot when I left Josh’s dad. I had moved from Karen, got a new life with Josh (her son), but one day, after three years, I realised that I was actually separated and trying to wear a face that everything was OK, all while still looking good on TV,” she said.

In a recent interview with True Love magazine, Muli said that she had to move after her marriage went down but came out with an important lesson: marriage is not a bed of roses. The news anchor is now pregnant by Jared Nevaton’s who, she said have been dating for almost two years.

Like many other celebrities, news anchor Lilian Muli won’t let her pregnancy come and go without sharing her journey. The Citizen TV employee has announced that she will be starting a new TV show which will air on Viusasa, Royal Media’s digital platform that provides local videos for Kenyans.

The show will be called “Pregnant with Lilian” and like many others we have seen from celebrities like Janet Mbugua, Ess and Brenda Wairimu, the show will involve sharing some of things women go through while carrying a baby.

“Coming soon…#pregnantwithLillianI’m way past 20 weeks pregnant but retracing my footsteps…the challenges and milestones, the things I’ve learnt that have helped me cope better…answers to the many questions I’ve had. Citizen TV weekend news anchor Lilian Muli will force you to eat a humble pie if you go off the line. Off the line here means posting comments on her platform that are not well thought through, or those that she doesn’t like.

One Kevin Kinyua found himself in this very position after the heavily pregnant news anchor posted a status on her Instagram page after she talked about her baby daddy and Muli fired back with an expected comment that left many rather shocked.

“Lakini if you’re talking about baby daddy or friends’ pia you know pregnancy brings up emotions that no one can handle. But that is on your friends or baby daddy they should know better that you’re going through a very sticky situation,” said Kevin Kinyua.

Days after Larry Madowo resigned and got another job from BBC, fans begged him not to leave behind his co-anchor Victoria Rubidiri. It seems their prayers have been answered though not fully.

Victoria Rubadiri has now ditched NTV and is headed for Citizen TV where she’ll be replacing a pregnant Lilian Muli, sources say. Rubadiri becomes the latest journalist to ditch the ailing Nation Media after eight other leading journalists left recently.
