“Lorna was an incredible life partner” Husband speaks days after losing wife to Covid 19

Lorna Irungu was finally laid to rest on Tuesday, 23 March after succumbing to Covid-19 as reported by her family. In the press statement released – Lorna Irungu was described as a loving mum to her only child; and a perfect wife to husband, Macharia.

Since her demise many media personalities continue to create awareness about Covid 19; especially now that many have become ignorant that the fact that Covid kills.

Away from that, we understand that Lorna Irungu has left behind a loving family that is yet to accept that their mum is now gone. To mourn his late wife, Mr Edwin Macharia went on to write;

My skies are missing their North Star. I am adrift ????

With that simple statement it’s obvious to see through Mr Macharia’s pain – as he knows his wife is now gone for good.

However even though Lorna will not be present physically; the father of one continues to keep her memory alive as seen in a different tweet where he wrote;

Although we may not understand what kind of pain he is going through; we hope that Mr Macharia will find his peace of mind and heart soon.

Lorna Irungu to be buried today in private ceremony

The media industry mourns the death of Lorna Irungu Macharia – a beautiful soul from both in and out. Those who knew her say she had a golden personality; and one thing they will miss about Lorna is her bubbly character and genuine smile.

However the lady succumbed to Covid 19 on Monday, 22 March following a few complications caused by other underlying issues as revealed.

According to reports, the late Lorna had been battling kidney complicatons and lupus for years; but sadly rested on Monday after putting up a good fight.

As seen on social media, many are still in denial with the untimely death of their colleague and friend. So far most have sent messages of condolences to the Macharia’s family as they will indeed miss the bubbly soul who brought nothing but joy in their lives.

Her burial will however take place immediately following the strict instructions given by the ministry of health ordering all victims to be buried with 72 hours after death. In a detailed post, the Macharia family went on to say;

The Macharia Family are sad to announce the passing of Lorna Irungu Macharia on 22nd March 2021. Lorna was the loving wife to Edwin Macharia and mother to Nancy Mumbi. She passed on at the Karen Hospital while undergoing treatment for Covid-19.
Lorna’s interment will be on 23rd March 2021 in a private family function.

We can’t possibly say we know how the family feels; but all in all we continue to stand with Lorna’s family as they go through this hard chapter of life. In conclusion the post read;
