After President Uhuru Kenyatta snatched Kanze Dena leaving Lulu Hassan one less friend at Citizen TV, it seems fate had its way and Kanze Dena was replaced by someone more than just a friend.

On Twitter, Hassan, who has worked with her for years, took to social media to share the new announcement. The two have had a solid friendship that has spanned over a decade on and off the screen.
Happy for her
“Alhamdullilah !!!!!Mungu unajuwa mahali umetutoa !!!!!! RESIDENT Kenyatta appoints TV anchor Kanze Dena deputy State House Spokesperson; Munira to head Presidential Library,” posted Lulu immediately after the news broke.
She added later: MUNGU UNAJUWA MAHALI UMETUTOA !!!!!… PRESIDENT Kenyatta appoints Kanze Dena as deputy State House Spokesperson.
According to the government, Kanze is to spearhead and “take leadership of the core communications teams, including digital, messaging, research, branding and press.”
She posted this emotional goodbye:
“I remember us sitting and giggling nervously when the news was broken to us, that we were the top anchors in the country, 4 years in a row. 4 years of holding our breath, perusing through news of the day before going on air, holding frantic conversations and arguing on random things,“ wrote Lulu.
There is something about our profession that I cannot quite define, but I think it has to do with the fact that your real boss is the audience. And they have the final say on whether you stay. To meet their standards is hard work. But with you, the journey has been gratifying.”
“We kept this news all under wraps for some time because our WHAT NEXT was haunting us as days passed by and yesterday it just dawned on me that woooahh this thing is real …after working together for about 5 years and a few months …I say thank you God for you know what we have been through and how our past looked like…”
They say love is beautiful and when I look at Rashid Abdalla and Lulu Hassan, I clearly see what they mean. Having been married for years now the two still behave like high-school sweethearts and if I am not wrong, they are envied by many people who wish they could have what the two share.
This past weekend, Rashid Abdalla shared a sweet message praising his wife for being the best thing that has ever happened to him. He showered his wife with a sweet message that left many of his fans thinking he is a ‘soft’ man. Through his social media pages the now NTV anchor wrote to say:
#sisemikitu Always learn to write your own love story …don’t compete, don’t impress and don’t force it . cc @loulou_hassan
These two have managed to keep their private life on the low but thanks to their social media pages we often get a glimpse of how the two share their love life.
So far they have been blessed with two boys and hopefully pretty much soon Lulu will get a baby girl to take after her like her son are doing with their daddy.
