Murugi Munyi discusses how her cheating scandal affected her husband

Murugi Munyi has spoken out about the infidelity allegations that rocked her marriage in 2022. In an interview with Lynn Ngugi, the mother of three said that she is tired of people focusing their energy on her marriage and that she is not going to defend herself against the allegations.

“People can write anything but I never say anything,” she said. “Kenyans are not discerning when it comes to the media, most people do not open and read the articles. If you want to believe I am a certain person then do so, I can’t spend time defending myself. I can never defend a hand or a mouth that isn’t mine.”

Murugi also said that she believes that people should stop minding other people’s marriages. “You do not know anything about other people’s marriages,” she said. “Leave people who have been naked together alone. No publicity is bad publicity.”

Murugi and her husband, Zack Munyi, took a two-week break from their marriage after the allegations surfaced. They have since reconciled and are working to rebuild their relationship.

“It affected us 100%,” Murugi said. “Zack is very private so for him it was a difficult time to go through. It was very personal. At some point we took a break, the situation was causing us stress and we couldn’t be with each other respectfully.”

Murugi said that she and Zack are now in therapy and are working to communicate better. “We talked about the whole issue and we did what we could to keep our marriage together,” she said.

Murugi’s story is a reminder that infidelity can be a devastating experience for couples. However, it is also a reminder that it is possible to overcome infidelity and rebuild a strong relationship.

While speaking on the phone, Lydia can be seen in the video gently holding Murugi’s thighs. In the video, Murugi wrote a heartfelt caption in response to her dear friend’s action.

“It’s how she just randomly has her hand on my thigh during a phone call ???? @lydiakm.”

Some people were pleased by how at ease they are with each other, while others weren’t as understanding of Lydia’s innocent behavior toward the married mother of three.

Lydia Muthondu It’s never that serious guys lol

WILDFLOWER If people don’t think you’re lesbi@ns, then you probably ain’t friends enough

Shee Shee So anashikwa mapanja why??

Brenda Aaai I kiss my best friend on the lipz but we are friends.

Sun shine I don’t see any problem, kuwekeleana mkono hapo na your bestie, it’s okay.

Elegant Queen Are their ratings going down?

While the video may have received a lot of feedback, many people are aware that the two have a strong friendship that allowed them to launch their podcast, The Messy Inbetween.

Many of the commentators above noted that although many women can be touchy-feely with one another, this does not necessarily indicate that something sinister (or questionable) is taking place.

Former adulteress Murugi Munyi claims married women don’t cheat

In an interview with Dr. Ofweneke on TV 47, TMI Podcasters Murugi Munyi and Lydia Kim talked openly about the realities of podcasting.

The two said that because podcasting is evolving in such fascinating ways, Kenyans must have challenging conversations.

At one point, the subject of cheating came up during their talk, and Ofweneke brought up an event they had concerning cheating.

“There is an episode you guys did about how to know your partner is cheating, there’s something you guys were talking about how do you know a woman is cheating?” he asked them to tip Kenyans.

Murugi Munyi was quick to deflect saying,

“You can’t you will never know, you just never know,”

And her co-host on the TMI podcast said in agreement, “Don’t bother looking”

“Women are smart’ Commented Munyi

” So the second you are going out there, you come home with your changed behavior, everything changes. And then God gave us intuition” Lydia shared

“Exactly, Men are sloppy,” said Murugi

Ofweneeke plodded on with the interview saying:

“So you guys cheat…” but he couldn’t didn’t finish his statement before the two ladies screamed “uwwwwwiiii. pull up, pull up” Lydia shouted

Murugi quipped “No, we did not say that, We are just saying if we were to cheat, you would never know, that’s it”

Lydia was asked by Ofweneke if she has ever cheated before

“I have” she acknowledged insisting it was early in life” I have but this was at childish times when I was like in my teens. It was just being stupid, you don’t know who you are, you are just doing whatever you want, just being dumb, I’ve never been found out” the podcaster added

Murugi Munyi opens up about dealing with hubby’s departure

Digital content creator and entrepreneur Murugi Munyi has opened up about how she is dealing with her husband’s long-distance travel. Zach, who relocated to the UK for work, left recently, which seems to have thrown his wife into a sad state.

Murugi shared a video of herself looking all sad and grumpy while listening to a sad song. The video read, “POV: your husband leaves for another stint of long distance and you don’t feel absolute hopelessness and despair,” accompanied by the hit song “You’ll Get Over it” by Nuu, Shawnii, and Xeni.

In the video, Murugi revealed that she had cried all the way from their house to the airport. She also stated the drive back home was the hardest as that is when it really hit her that she was truly on her own now.

Murugi went on to highlight more details on how she was handling Zach’s trip back to the UK. She said that one of their biggest challenges is the time difference. “It’s hard to have a conversation when he’s asleep when I’m awake, and vice versa,” she said.

Murugi also said that she misses her husband’s physical presence. “It’s not the same just talking to him on the phone or video chat,” she said. “I miss being able to hug him, kiss him, and just be in his presence.”

Despite the challenges, Murugi said that she is determined to make her long-distance relationship work. “We love each other and we’re committed to making this work,” she said. “We’ll figure it out.”

Murugi’s openness about her struggles with long-distance relationships is a refreshing change of pace. Too often, we see couples who pretend that their long-distance relationships are easy. But the truth is, they’re not. They’re hard work. But if you’re willing to put in the effort, they can be incredibly rewarding.

If you’re in a long-distance relationship, know that you’re not alone. Murugi and Zach are proof that it can be done. Just remember to communicate, be patient, and never give up on each other.
