“Gengetone artists have negatively influenced the youths” Mwalimu King’ang’i

Alot of youths have been engaging in what many would refer to immorality; and truth is, these days they don’t even hide it. To prove this, look at all the gengetone songs and those featured in it – just to confirm that indeed the new generation is living a freestyle kind of lifestyle; and most don’t even fear their parents.

Well this morning on Classic 105 Mwalimu King’ang’i also known as Churchill aka Daniel Ndambuki had a heated debate with Maina Kageni; as they debated on what could be negatively influencing the youths in the country.

According to Mwalimu King’ang’i the gengetone artists are to be blamed for pushing youths and teenagers to believing ratchetness is the way to go.

This is because they continue to preach this in most of the gengetone songs; and having seen how most carry themselves on these videos then you understand why.

Gengetone to be blamed?

As seen on a tweet shared on Classic 105 Mwalimu King’ang’i says that parents are not only fighting the COvid 19 pandemic; but also the gengetone one that continues to affect and negatively influence the youth. He went on to say;

Parents are fighting another pandemic and it’s this gengetone generation! Hii ni generation ya watoto huwezi ambia kitu

Looking at most of the cases that made headlines in the past few weeks; you will understand that there is indeed a problem with the youths – but who is to blame?

It’s evident that Mwalimu King’ang’i blames the gengetone artists and their content; but what about parenting?  How have they been raised?

Some of those who went on to comment felt that Mwalimu should probably go easy on the artists; as they also grew up in a generation where the likes of Nonini, prezzo and others used to drop vulgar music and the youth never got affected negatively. One wrote;

And another went on to add;

So who do we blame?

Just recently a certain man called in to ask Maina and Mwalimu whether they would give him tips on how to know whether he is good in bed.  From the audio seems that the man was serious since none of the ladies he has been with has ever mentioned this to him.

This is a question both men and women secretly wish to ask but since most fear being judged or rather being told the plain truth… they then stay away from asking it.

However for this man, he left many cracked up as he went on to mention some of the weird things he has been told in bed that have now forced him to seek for help from the two popular radio personalities.
