Started from the bottom! Njuguna narrates how his wife persevered with his romantic dates at Uhuru Park when he still broke

Most lovebirds in Nairobi who can’t afford romantic date at ritzy restaurants usually end up at Uhuru Park or Central Park. Njuguna and his wife Celestine Ndinda were among those who frequented city parks for romantic escapades.

The comedian took to social media to narrate how his wife persevered with his romantic dates at Uhuru Park. He reveals that the first time he took Celestine to a nice restaurant was in 2014.

“2014….. it was my first time kupeleka huyu mrembo @celestinendinda date akasema ameshiba….all other dates ,mostly zilikua Pale uhurupark, alikua anadai haskii njaa…..lol she was just being diplomatic anadanganya because tukirudi shule alikua anabomoa ugali..,” wrote Njuguna in part.

Expensive meal

Njuguna says that he nearly failed to pay the restaurant bill when he took Celestine out to a nice place for the first time. He reveals that he only had Kes 500 with him yet the bill was Kes 650.

The comedian says that he was forced to call a friend to bail him out, he further adds that he didn’t anticipate that his girlfriend would eat that much.

“I was hoping ile 500 nilikua nayo ingetosha..well I was in for a surprise. When for the 1st time aliona I took her to a date somewhere with walls open air dates were the thing…(well cause of how our pockets were setup)…CBD akajua kajamaa kana pesa (we have been paid 1kfor a set book show nilikua nimechapa. So nikalipa deni ya 500 I had ..then the rest nikaamua nichafue mrembo) Now here we are….kimuhahe kikaniambia I tell her “take what you want”..big mistake.

“Now there’s a dish known as Arosto….I think ni mbuzi mtoto…meat so soft…I always keep wondering if it would be appropriate to say you are kidding ukiikula..lol bad joke I know.  Wue ilikua 650 Sinia moja….150 more than I had….sema kusweat…mrembo was so happy lakini chini ya maji i was nervous….well luckily i had a friend ..and what are friends for ???especially when date iko karibu kugonga ukuta…(i thought tungeenda tu hizo open air dates haingegonga ukuta, get it?) Well my friend Gerald would send me 500kshs”

Comedian Timothy Njuguna and Celestine Ndinda walked down the aisle in a colorful wedding ceremony held at the PCEA Evergreen in Runda on 16th December 2016.

Njuguna met Celestine while they were both college students, it was love at first sight for the comedian who made it his mission to pursue Celestine until he managed to win her over.

The two lovebirds were blessed with their first child sometimes in February 2018. The baby boy’s face was only unveiled to the public months later after he was born.

Njuguna and his wife took to social media to write each other sweet messages on their second wedding anniversary;

“Happy anniversary love @blessednjugush  I can’t believe it’s been 2years already!! I thank God for the far He has brought us, Indeed He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask for. Cheers to more years!!!! Love you tim,” wrote Celestine Ndinda.

On his part, Njuguna wrote;

“Once you go kamba you dont Kambak….hapa stoki… 2016 was a good year and the years after have even been better. Sharing the same saltshaker and the same TV (well remote ni yako)been really cool… havent regreted, ever .@celestinendinda asante kwa kupika btw hapa nilikua vizii…shukran za dhati pia zimfikie huyu kinyozi alitafuta hairline kweli kweli….

Comedian Njuguna shocks tweeps as he reveals the amount of money he used to earn as salary

Started from the bottom now he’s here! Timothy Kimani popularly known as Njugush used to earn less than a domestic servant when he started out as a comedian.

Njugush took to Twitter to reveal the first salary he was paid as a comedian. He was responding to a tweep who had asked netizens to open up about their first jobs and salaries.

The comedian revealed that his first salary was Kes 2,800. He explained that he was being paid the meager salary because his employers were offering him platform to blossom.

Njuguna has since become one of the most sought after comedians in Kenya, over years he landed major deals with Pwani Oil Products, Safaricom and Fanaka TV.

Njuguna splashes Kes 114,000 to spoil his friend Abel Mutua on his birthday (Photos)

Celebrated comedian Timothy Kimani popularly known as Njugush/Njuguna dug deep into his pockets to ensure his friend and mentor Abel Mutua had a pleasant birthday.

Abel Mutua plays a vital role in Njuguna’s acting career, the two are so close that Njugush even quit Real House Helps of Kawangware and Hapa Kule News when Abel quit.

Abel turned a year older on August 28th and Njuguna decided to buy him an expensive gift –  iPhone X Smartphone which is retaining at Kes 114,000.

Abel revealed Njuguna bought him iPhone X a week after his birthday. He took to social media to thank Njugush for the pricey gift and joked that he was even will be a sitter for their second born just to show his appreciation.

“This family that is the Kimanis. @blessednjugush and @celestinendinda. I don’t know what it is that you want from me. At this point, I’m willing to carry your second born. You have been such a blessing to me. The birthday gift you sent me last week rendered me speechless for a whole week. Words can’t explain. You are God sent. Njuguna also recently bought his wife a Kes 85,000 smartphone on her birthday.

Akothee and Njuguna explain ‘romantic’ moment when they showed up at ASK grounds in Kisumu holding hands like lovey-dovey couple 

Several celebrities flew to Kisumu over the past weekend for Safaricom Twaweza Live experience which was held at ASK Mamboleo show ground.

Comedian Njuguna and singer Akothee were among newsmakers who were present at the Twaweza Live concert. The two raised eyebrows when they walked in at Mamboleo show ground while holding hands.

Njugush made a joke about the moment he showed at ASK grounds holding Akothee’s hand while Nelly Oaks watched from a distance.

Njuguna: My first birthday gift to my child will be discipline, nowadays the way tunabring up watoi is so bad

Njuguna was brought up in a strictly Christian family, his father is a pastor. The comedian intends to raise his own son just like he was brought up.

Njuguna and his wife Celestine Ndinda welcomed their first child recently. The comedian announced he was a father during the Easter holiday.

Njuguna opened up about the kind of a father he intends to be to his son. He reveals that discipline will be his guide in raising his son. The comedian asserts that the best gift he got from his parents is discipline.

“My first birthday gift to my child will be discipline. I might buy him so many expensive things or even promise to do big things for my child, but I never know if in one year’s time I will be having money. I remember there is one thing my parents gave us and we are so grateful to them, and that is discipline, and I also think that is what I want to also give to my child. This is because nowadays, the way tunabring up watoi is so bad. I do not want to pamper my child so much that hajui naeza ongea na asikie. I know in one year’s time, anaeza kua hajui mob, but kama ni kuraise voice, ajue niko, coz vitu najua ni mob na tutanunua, but discipline kwanza,” said Njuguna.

 

Njugush reveals the one thing he won’t do with his child that most celebrity parents are doing

Timothy Kimani aka Njuguna and his wife Celestine Ndinda are expecting their first child anytime soon. The comedian talked about the things he would do and not do once his child arrives.

Njuguna and Celestine walked down the aisle in December 2016 in a colorful ceremony. The two lovebirds plan to keep their child away from the limelight.

“Wacha huyo tu akue private tumfiche, kwa sababu it’s upto mtu ajue if they want to be involved in something,” Njuguna said during an interview with the star.

Njugush also reveals that he will not be opening Instagram account for his child like how other celebs do with their kids. He explains that it will his child’s personal decision to join social media once they attain the age of 18.

“Opening an account for our child will not be one of our agendas because according to me, that is a personal decision they can make when they reach 18,” said Njuguna.

The comedian also hinted his wife is pregnant with a baby boy. Njuguna said that he will name his son after his own father who is a pastor.

 

 

 

 

Njugush lands a lucrative deal with Pwani Oil Products ahead of his wife’s delivery

Njuguna is sorted, the comedian inked a lucrative deal with Pwani Oil Products that will see him get ‘cautioned’ by the time his wife gives birth.

The popular comedian was unveiled as the brand ambassador for Pwani Oil Products on Friday September 29th during the launch of White Wash Extra at the Serena Beach Hotel in Mombasa.

Njuguna however refused to reveal how much he was being paid for the endorsement, the comedian only termed the deal as being too good.

“Although I cannot reveal how much I was paid, but I confirm that it is a good deal and I am very happy. This is a clear indication Pwani Oil Products is supporting local talents,” said Njuguna.

The deal with Pwani Oil Products couldn’t come at a much better time for Njuguna who is going to be a father soon; his wife Celestine Ndinda is heavily pregnant.

Njugush mocks unlucky man humiliated at Chicken-Inn after his girlfriend rejected his marriage proposal and stormed out

A man was forced to beg his sweetheart to accept his marriage proposal but not even pleas from customers at Chicken-Inn could compel her to accept the man’s wedding proposal.

The persistent man only known as Alfie took his girlfriend to Chicken-Inn restaurant on Moi Avenue with the intention of popping the big question to her while there.

Things didn’t go as planned for Alfie, his sweetheart turned down his marriage proposal even as customers at Chicken-Inn restaurant pleaded with her to accept the proposal.

The lady stormed out of the restaurant leaving the poor man holding his engagement ring on his hand not knowing what to do next.

Njuguna has been seen making fun of the unlucky man, the comedian enacted similar situation (marriage proposal being turned down) and showed men how they ought to act when their proposals are rejected.
