Kamba singer Stephen Kasolo confessed that he took gospel singer Rose Muhando to pastor Ng’ang’a’s church but has denied that the two are in a relationship.
It has been a tough week for Muhando after a clip of the pastor casting demons out of her went viral. Kasolo, who has been a close friend of Muhando for three years now, said that it’s sad some people claim he’s the one hiding her.
“I’ve never introduced Muhando to drugs or had any intimate relationship with her. If anyone has evidence of that, they should come out and prove it. Some people claim that I’ve been hiding her. That’s not true. As a matter of fact, Rose’s relatives came for her to help her get further treatment and she left the country,” Kasolo told The Nairobian.
Early this year, Kasolo posted a video on YouTube which has Muhando confessing that she’s in love with him.
“Kwa keli Mungu amenipa roho ye kumpenda kama vile mwanamke anapompenda mume wake,” she says in the video.
The two artists have released a song titled “Musitutafute.” which Kasolo says has been received positively.
“I’m happy that the hit has been received well. Those who are talking ill of us are idle,” he added.
Tanzanian singer Rose Muhando is not afraid of what people will say or keep on saying after her recent controversial prayer session with pastor James Ng’ang’a.
The singer has been summoned in Tanzania by authorities who said are now ready to give her help and also investigate her case in which she claimed her manager Nathan conned her.
Muhando in a recent interview on YouTube explained that the allegations on her have made her stronger and she has even now nicknamed herself a lioness.
“Kwa ajili ya uvumilivu wa mapio ninaopitia, shida ngumu, kuvumilia mambo magumu, na ujasiri nilionao, wakaamua kuniita simba wa kike. na hatunyamazi mpaka mungu anapokea utukufu. ndio tunateka nyavu kilindini. tuko hapa kibwezi kwa siku saba mfuulizo. Mpaka wameniita simba hata kama kikipita maana yake mimi siogopangi halafu siongei chochote kile.kazi yangu mimi kuwinda tu.” he said.
Tanzanian have come out to bash Neno Evangelism pastor James Ng’ang’a for exorcising demons from Rose Muhando.
Several artists have called out the pastor for the video which has gone viral showing him praying for the disturbed singer in his church in Nairobi.
Singer Emanuel Mbasha rebuked the ordeal saying because of Muhando’s status, he should have been done at least behind closed doors. Mbasha claimed that the prayer seemed to have made more harm that healing.
“With all due respect, I would like to say prayer is important to everyone but conducting prayers in such a manner will make the public lose value in prayer and tarnish the reputation of the individual seeking divine intervention,” he said on social media.
The Tanzanian Music Foundation (TAMUFO) is not happy also with the video and have now ordered the singer to return to the country with immediate effect.
They believe the whole thing was acted and Muhando was trying to make a certain statement about her former manager Nathan.
“We, as an agency, believe Rose Muhando is not demon-possessed, but there is something she is up to. As an agency mandated to look into the welfare of musicians in Tanzania, we have decided to seriously look into her claims,” said Stella Joel.
Days after shocking Kenyans following a dramatic prayer session with controversial pastor James Ng’ang’a, gospel singer Rose Muhando has been ordered to return to the country.
The Tanzanian Music Foundation (TAMUFO) wants the singer back in the country so that she can get all the necessary help he she needs.
The foundation’s secretary, Stella Joel in a statement said they decided to look into her case after her claims portrayed a negative image on the industry.
“As an agency mandated to look into the welfare of musicians in Tanzania, we have decided to seriously look into her claims. In that viral video, she accuses her former manager, Nathan, of very bad things. Her claims paint a bad picture of our industry,” Joel said.
Muhando, in the video, accuses her ex-manager Nathan, of planting evil spirits in her. TAMUFO also wants to meet with him since they believe there’s more between the two.
“We have ordered Rose Muhando to immediately return to Tanzania. We understand that she is being housed by a fellow musician in Kenya. We, as an agency, believe Rose Muhando is not demon-possessed, but there is something she is up to,” said Joel.
Controversial pastor from Neno Evangelism James Ng’ang’a has harshly denied that he casted demons out of struggling singer Rose Muhando contrary to what a clip doing round on social media has portrayed.
According to Ng’ang’a, Muhando needed spiritual heeling and that’s what he gave him.
“If anything, I wasn’t casting demons out of the musician. She was unwell. She, therefore, requested for spiritual healing from me. I only facilitated that. Rose Muhando is like a patient in hospital. Do you usually call the doctor to inquire the health details of a patient you are not related to? No, you don’t. So, kindly keep off the Rose Muhando issue,” he said.
The Tanzanian singer had been plagued by a series of scandals and misfortunes over the past few year. Apparently Rose experienced all the misfortunes because a stubborn demon escaped from hell and managed to possess her.
The pastor also went on to question Royal media services reporters who approached him for a comment, telling them they should stop being nosy regarding the Muhando issue.
“I own the rights to the video doing the rounds on social media, showing Ms Muhando being delivered from demons. You do not own the rights to that video. So, why would you call me over that clip? Who is your supervisor? I should call him or her and ask him to drive sense into you. Why are you interested in a video that you don’t have any rights to?” said Ng’ang’a before hanging up.
Kenyans have been wondering what has happened to gospel singer Rose Muhando after a photo of her looking emaciated and wearing a bandage hit online.
The singer, in an interview, has come out to share that she was in an accident which left her with several injuries. One of the picture showed her standing next to a pulpit in church looking tired and weary.
Many speculated it’s because of hard drugs but the singer shared she had just been released from hospital and is in the process of recovering.
“That image was taken two weeks ago, when I was in Kenya. The cuts in my legs, which I sustained in a road accident three months ago, are healing. The process has left me with dark spots on the affected parts of the body, including my back I am currently doing fine, even as I continue with treatment,” she shared in an interview with Citizen.
Wonders shall never end! Rose Muhando was arrested on Sunday 4th for alleged fraud that saw her walk away with Ksh 37,000.
The singer cum Reverend is said to have received money from the chairman of AICT Singida choir as payment for an appearance during the launch of the AICT choirs album that was held in November 13th 2016.
Rose Muhando however never showed up and did not communicate with the church’s chairman to explain herself.
The chairman, Mashala Japhet goes on to add that they had sent her extra money Ksh 6,900 as her transport money only to be spotted in Kahama Northwestern Tanzania where she carrying on with her ministry.
However, the police picked her from her Ikungi home in Singida where she was taken to the police station to record a statement. From what she says, this was a case of mistaken identity as she distanced herself from the accusations.
Speaking during a recent interview with Edaily the singer had this to say,
Yes the police arrested me on Sunday, 4th June, but I wasn’t supposed to be the target. They were looking for a different lady whose name is Rose, which is similar to mine. The other Rose is the one who obtained money from the said Church in the pretense that she was me. I am currently at home after securing a release.
