When Kenyan women are busy chasing Nigerian men, other women are trying to bag themselves our local men and if you don’t believe me then allow me to enlighten you. Reality TV star from The Real Housewives of Atlanta Shamea is dating a Kikuyu man by the name of Gerald Mwangi.
The two are even planning to hold a big white wedding but before this Gerald Mwangi ensured to fisrt being his wife to be back to Kenya, his motherland where they held a traditional wedding which included the ‘ruracio’ and ‘ngurario’ practiced widely in the Kikuyu culture.
Shamea who was warmly welcomed by her fiance’s parents was also given the name Mumbi which was the beginning of welcoming her officially to their family.
This comes a year after Shamea visited Kenya for the first time as she came to see her in laws and the family she was getting married into. There white wedding is expected to happen sometime this year and we wish them all the best.
