Msungu Mkale explains why she walked out on 2 year old son leaving him with ex boyfriend, Shaniqwa

Mkale Msungu aka Jemutai who is comedian Shaniqwa’s baby mama recently opened up about her breakup with the celebrity, says infidelity and his violent ways are the reason she left.

Her interview comes weeks after Shaniqwa accused her of cheating on him and abandoning their 2 year old son in order to live with another man. Okay, at first it sounded untrue (that she left her baby) but turns out that it’s true.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, the hot mama who is currently working as a video vixen and hosting a club event at the Tunnel; went on to confirm that Shaniqwa has been living with their son since she is unstable. Alaaaa.

According to Ms Jemutai, she decided to leave him behind since she had already played her part back when Shaniqwa was a deadbeat; meaning, it was his turn now to help out with the baby.

I was staying with my son and used to take care of him on my own and he never helped me but I never came out to expose him as a deadbeat dad.

Why baby is leaving with baby

Jemutai went on to reveal that her main reason for leaving the boy behind is because there was a time she couldn’t even pay her own rent. She said,

There’s a time I couldn’t afford to pay rent and asked him to help me take care of our son then when things pick up, I’ll take him back.

Well, I guess they both know what they’re doing and how they’re parenting; but clearly we can’t understand how they do it.

A few days ago comedian Shaniqwa held a candid interview with Jeff Kuria, where he opened up about life as a single dad raising a king.

From the interview the comedian for the first shed light about his relationship and how it ended. Judging from what he said, we can say that the comedian accused his ex, Jemutai aka Mkale Msungu of abandoning their son after she bagged a new man.

According to Shaniqwa the lady did not only walk out of her son’s life but was cheating on him. He went on to reveal how selfish she become to a point that she didn’t even care about her own child.

Well, clearly these are strong accusations especially where he paints his baby mama as a loveless mother to their son. But also, the fact that she left the toddler with him (Shaniqwa) also makes it easy to believe the comedian’s side of the story.

Anyway, having come across Shaniqwa’s interview, looks like Jemutai also decided to speak her truth.

I found him several times cheating even before he lost his Job at KTN and each; and every time I would confront him, he used to beat me up like nonsense but I never said anything to the public. My friend knows, used to go to work with a black eye or marks on my body and would wear a hoody to hide them. It reached a point I said enough is enough and that why I decided to walk away with my kid.

Violent man

From her interview, Jemutai says the reason she walked out is after getting fed up with the beatings she often received from Shaniqwa. To prove how violent the man was, Jemutai says he beat her up a week after she had undergone C section surgery to welcome their son.

What got me to the end was the domestic violence abuse. I remember there is a time after I was just from the Hospital for the CS, a week he beat me up na hata sikuwa nimepona. It was after finding out he was cheating.

About the man Shaniqwa claims Jemutai ran off with, she said;

I went to Ruiru…It wasn’t another man, one of my friends called Tina, she took me and my son. We used to sleep on the floor on a small mattress. I stayed there for 7 months before I got a good job. Venye anasema nilienda Ruiru kwa Mwanaume that not true, Tina is not a man

Normally you would hear a husband abandoned his wife and kids but it’s very rare to hear that a mum abandoned her child simply because times are tough. But thanks to Shaniqwa’s interview with Jeff Kuria, we get to hear of how his wife walked out on both him and their son.

Speaking during an emotional interview this past weekend, the comedian Kevin popularly known as Shaniqwa; opened up to narrate how getting fired from KTN in 2020 left him struggling.

Just like most people, Shaniqwa says his life completely changed for the worst during the pandemic as he lost his job and wife too.

My problems started from the day I was fired from the show after Covid-19 hit the country. I had settled with a wife and had a son. I have been fired and started focusing on my YouTube channel. Maintaining the character was tough. I used to tell myself I resigned but I was fired.

With no job and no money to cover his family’s bills, Shaniqwa says he got evicted and some of house items auctioned.

As they say, Ogopa madem wa Nairobi because after a few months, Shaniqwa says his wife came claiming she had been chased away by the new lover.

She called saying she had been chased away. She started crying and I welcomed her home but after two days, things did not work. She said I was discussing her. I owed my friends an explanation that I had decided to take her back. She woke up and said she doesn’t want to stay.

Being a gentleman, he took her in only for her to dump the kid on him and left for good. He went on to add;

She said she wanted to bring the baby so that she could do some stuff. She has never come back. She told me she was in an accident.

Comedian Shaniqwa quits KTN

After three years on KTN, comedian Kevatin Muthaka alias Shaniqwa has parted ways with KTN.

Taking to social media, the comedian, who is known for his gender-fluid jokes, shared that he has resigned from the station but will inform fans later on where’s headed.

“Yes i did my last show yesterday on #ktnlifeandstyle thank you @ktn_kenya for always belieiving in me, for my fans i will keep you posted where am landing next GOD BLESS YOU ALL. ??” he posted.

His move was first announced by Mary Mwikali with whom he hosted a breakfast show dubbed Lifestyle on every Friday morning.

Mwikali thanked Shaniqwa for the support through out his KTN stay in an instagram post when bidding goodbye.

“This Human… Oh this Human. You’ve been my greatest cheerleader and critic on set…. Your humour and creativity oh so Vibrant and contagious… A support system that every colleague needs at the work place. You are treasured. Shaniqwa popularly known for her witty jokes seems to have changed careers. She is now said to be now working as a waitress.

This comes shortly after she announced to be the latest sexy waitress in town serving drinks at affordable prices. Well, she begins her new waitressing job at the Native club in Nairobi and as expected she hopes to serve her lucky fans.

According to her post; her new job will come with some advantages as she promises not to harass her clients like most waitresses do. In her own words… Shaniqwa will be serving drinks from Ksh 50 and get this, the beers are legit and not like the ‘mama Pima’ like.

Shaniqwa s television character played by Kelvin Mwangi Thiong’o. You will be surprised to know there is a lady in Tanzania who looks like Shaniqwa.

Shaniqwa shot to fame thanks to his role on ‘Jameni’, a local production showing on KTN. What makes Shaniqwa a unique character is his long weaves, tonnes of makeup, sky-high-heels and larger-than-life attitude.

Popular Tanzanian radio presenter Diva the Bawse bears an uncanny resemblance to Shaniqwa. Especially when she puts her weave.

Diva the Bawse is a presenter on Tanzania’s most popular radio station – Clouds FM. There is no telling the difference between Diva and Shaniqwa with her weave on. She even has Shaniqwa’s smile.

Papa Shirandula unveils new cross-dresser in town to rival KTN’s Shaniqwa (Photos)

Shaniqwa will no longer enjoy the monopoly of being the only cross-dresser that people talk about, he has a rival who also looks fabulous donning women’s clothes.

Shaniqwa first caught the attention of the country slaying in ladies’ clothes on KTN’s ‘Jameni’ TV show. Citizen TV’s Papa Shirandula has also unveiled its own cross-dresser.

Joseph Wachira Nyokabi also known as Zaitun by his stage name is the newest cross-dresser in town who is giving Shaniqwa a run for his money.

Zaitun looks like a real lady in a portrait photo, he has a feminine face which is an added advantage considering he’s playing the role of a woman on Papa Shirandula.

His legs however tell a different story altogether, they are muscular resembling those of Kenya’s long-distance runners – zimekauka mbaya.
