1. NO THIS IS NOT A SIDE HUSTLE – am making bags to feed my baby & create jobs for able Kenyans.
2. MAMAS DREAM – 3 days before she passed on @reginahkatar announced she was going back into her fashion biz. She was a great designer and had an eye for style (Heck she chose me!??)
3. YES SHE MADE THEM – the jeans and the jacket were her designs i just suggested a little and she executed it like a solider.
4. TO GIVE UP MY JOB – Comes a time you just feel your purpose change and your direction shift. I had to give up a very good gig for this because my soul just spoke loudly and i couldn’t let the thought go.
5. YOUR DREAMS ARE VALID- if you know you’ve got a thing that you’ve wanted to do please don’t wait cause like i said Mama wanted to do this… she’s in heaven now & not able to do it. Don’t put things off too long, live in the present moment and do it!
6. YOUR LOVE & SUPPORT- to those who’ve bought from @jokajokleather THANK YOU ?? more than words thank you. You’ve put fed more than 10 families and helped keep a dream alive! Let’s make this into Kenya’s premier Luxury Designer brand known around the world. I know with your love your prayers and your physical support we can do it ?????

I am settled

Tedd Josiah explains that he doesn’t want to remarry because he fears bringing someone else into his daughter’s life will destabilize her.

“I am settled, I don’t need anyone. Right now my focus is JJ ( Jameela Wendo) and bringing someone now into her life will destabilize her. She is still young to understand what is going on and I’m very sensitive about that,” said Josiah said.

The 48-year-old producer was married to another woman before his marriage crumbled, he went on to re-marry Reginah Muthoni who sadly passed on last year.

My first wife left me because I was a really bad boy and immature – Ted Josiah

Veteran producer music producer Tedd Josiah has confessed that he’s the only reason why his first marriage never worked.

Speaking in a radio interview with Massewe Jappani on Radio Jambo, Josiah said that he was really immature when he first got hitched and wasn’t ready at all.

“I was young and stupid when I married my first wife. I was so arrogant and at that time I was not ready to marry. I played a part in making sure the marriage did not work. I was a really bad boy,” he said.

Pain

Tedd remarried and settled down with Reginah Katar in 2016 only for her to pass on a year later after delivering her first baby.

He said that one of the reasons why he posts her daughter so much is because of guilt he carries from neglecting his kids from his first union.

“Losing the kids was so painful. I had another daughter who kept waiting for me at the gate every day but I was nowhere to be seen. That wound is still very fresh, but now is when we are trying to repair the bond that was broken then with my other two children,” Tedd said.

He went on:

“All the love that my other two children did not receive I decided to give to Jay, and all the mistakes that I did should not be repeated. It is a second chance that God has given me.

“Once the marriage broke I had a lot of time to reflect. I realised I needed children and I was so lonely. Sadly I can’t go back to my first marriage, because there is no chance for a reverse wheel in my life. We had differences that we can never solve,” he said.

Here’s what he said.

“2am we woke up to breastfeed ?  Mommy had a headache ?  I got her pain killers that she threw up ? Forced her to dress up so we dash to hospital.
She passed out in hospital. 2 hours later she was gone…………..
I’ve played this night of my life over and over and over, I’ve hoped it was a dream & the love of my life, my best friend, would be back in bed with us breastfeeding.

“I’ve been angry at God for giving me a chance to really love with everything i had only to take that love away. I’ve hated the world, I’ve hated myself, I’ve wished, cried, longed…..You should be here with our baby, you should be here with our little cub, you should be teaching her the words, teaching her to sing if only half has good as you, teaching her to be a lady, you should come the the bathroom if only to watch me shave ???? @reginahkatar all i could say as you slipped away from this life was “my love, my love, my love, my love……….
One year on it breaks me all over again. R I P MY LOVE ????????”

Here is his post.

Ladies the gift ? of life is one that only you can bring to this world. That isn’t an easy task and honestly i think every single man with the intention of having a child with a woman should allow to her enjoy the love ? making ???, enjoy conceiving, enjoy the pregnancy ?, buy everything she craves for (mine was drives to town from Runda to buy Sanford fries ? at strange hours), let her have everything she needs and wants, be there thru the labour and delivery (without passing out!! ??) and be there to wash, clean, change and bond with both mommy ? and Baby ??.
This is a letter i wrote my dear #HRH Her Royal Highness #Empress #GummyBear ????? the day she was born 21-06-2017 at 10am after a long unsuccessful labour that turned into a C section and a week in hospital with baby and mommy recovering.
@reginahkatar watch over your little cub ? so she can become the Empress you wanted her to be ????
To those going thru the journey at whatever stage, enjoy EVERY STEP, to the men HELP HER ENJOY cause we sure can’t carry any more than the little soldiers inside us and a beer ? belly ???

There have been tons of people who have come and supported us in the journey and it’s not just the stuff, it’s the prayers.”

“She died from rare condition, her blood platelet count fell below normal” Tedd Josiah narrates how his wife died

Popular producer Tedd Josiah lost his wife Reginah Katar on the morning of Saturday September 30th 2017. Josiah only learnt about what killed his wife after she passed on.

The producer told Citizen that Reginah was slated to go for medical checkup on the Saturday she passed on because she had complained of headache on Friday.

Reginah Katar

“Her death comes as a shocker given she only complained of a headache on Friday and early Saturday. When i rushed her to hospital on Saturday she passed away three hours later. When she was in town (Nairobi) on Friday, i asked her to go do a blood test which she responded that she would go for the tests on Saturday. All through she looked normal, and was not feeling any pain. It is extremely sad we lost her in such a manner,” Josiah said.

Tedd Josiah further revealed that doctors told him his wife died of low platelet count, Reginah’s blood platelet count fell below normal after childbirth.

Apparently doctors didn’t detect the issue when she gave birth, the deceased was bleeding internally and the bleeding couldn’t stopped because her body lacked the component to stop the bleeding  by clumping and clotting blood vessels injuries

“She died from a very rare condition, which occurs among few women across the world. but it is very rare to be detected among African women. Her blood platelet count fell below normal after childbirth.

“Reginah’s platelets, a component of blood whose function is to stop bleeding by clumping and clotting blood vessels injuries, were so diluted leading to a significantly reduced count. Sadly all through she had an internal bleeding, which had not been detected nor stopped because of her low platelet count.

“A new mother’s platelets count is supposed to be monitored regularly months after delivery especially if she has issues with her platelets count. Hers was not checked, sadly we were made aware of her condition after she had passed on.  She has left behind our three-month-old baby, Jamila Josiah.”
