Abel Mutua: Uhuru Kenyatta paid me well to be his brand ambassador

Abel Mutua has opened up about the ups and downs in TV production. The popular actor also shed light on the lucrative deal with president Uhuru Kenyatta.

2010-2012 was the most successful period in Abel Mutua’s career. The popular actor-cum-script writer was earning approximately 200,000 a month from his job.

“We were paid Kes 20,000 per episode and wrote four episodes a month, which came to Sh80,000. I wrote on both Tahidi High and Mother-In-Law. In total, between 2010 and 2012, I earned approximately Sh200,000 a month because I was also acting and doing camera work,” Abel told SDE.

Abel collapses in the bathroom

The former Tahadi High actor says he was forced to take a sabbatical after he collapsed in the bathroom. Apparently his work got the better of him and he had no option but to take a break.

“After four years of constant writing and acting, I collapsed in the bathroom one evening from sheer exhaustion and I knew it was time to take a break. I’d overexerted myself. I felt I had nothing left to give so I quit my job, which some thought was very stupid and some thought was very brave.”

Abel Mutua, DP William Ruto and president Uhuru Kenyatta in a past event

Abel landed a lucrative while he was on a break from work. The popular actor was appointed president Uhuru’s brand ambassador. He says he was well paid for the job.

“I landed on my feet as I got a role as brand ambassador for a politician who was running for president. It paid well, but after a year being out of the creative scene, I was itching to get back.”

“Mr President my brother was kidnapped and it’s now 3 years” Mama Baha of Machachari sends a plea to Uhuru Kenyatta

Machachari actress Wanjiku Mburu popularly known as Mama Baha is in pain. The Citizen TV actress is devastated by the disappearance of her brother.

Mama Baha highlighted her agony in an open letter she wrote to Uhuru Kenyatta. Wanjiru says she tried using proper avenue to reach out to the president but bureaucracy played its part and she was blocked from having a word with him.

Mama Baba’s open letter to Uhuru Kenyatta

“See Mr President my brother was kidnapped and it’s now 3 years since and nothing from you or your office…after everything has been said and done, it’s been said and NOTHING done.
So this is me hoping with everything going on, your re-election, Githeri man raising to fame you will get to read this and bring my brother home…3 years, I think he has done his “time”. His children need their father, his wife-a husband, his parents- a son and me- MY BROTHER.

“I am writing to you and this is me clutching at straws…i was told not to write to you, others said I should follow chain of command, which I did and after a few attempts to seek audience with the relevant people we had our 1st meeting and everyone was happy to see ‘us’..well that’s until we told them why we were really there and no sooner did they hear us, there were promises of immediate action…there was ” call me 1st thing in the morning….” which I did and this was the narrative…in hushed tones I was told..” I am in a meeting I’ll call you later..” this went on for a while until they no longer bothered to pick my calls…

“Wanjiku hopes her open letter to the president will get to the attention of the commander in chief.”

Uhuru Kenyatta’s vote saves goat thief from being lynched by a mob

Every vote in Mount Kenya counts. A mob in Murang’a spared the life of a thief after he assured them he would vote for Uhuru Kenyatta in repeat presidential election.

Irate residents in Mukuyu market were set to lynch goat thief Richard Macharia Wangechi. They only stopped  setting the theif on fire when he produced his ID and voter’s card.

His death would reduce Uhuru’s vote

The 22 year old thief confessed to stealing his grandmother’s he goat. The mob cornered him and beat him for hours before they spared his life when he was asked to produce his ID.

Some residents argued that killing Richard would reduce Uhuru’s votes. This was the only reason why the angry mob spared his life.

Richard Macharia Wangechi

Richard said that he had been lured to steal by a friend after going broke for a month. He promised he would never engage in criminal activities.

The goat thief thanked the ‘sympathetic’ mob for sparing his life. He vowed he would never engage in criminal activities again.

Abduba Dida mounts attacks on Uhuru Kenyatta’s drunkenness even as the spotlight remains on Babu Owino

Abduba Dida has stepped up attacks on president Uhuru Kenyatta’s insobriety. The former presidential candidate insists that 40 million Kenyans are being driven in a bus by a drunk driver.

The Alliance for Real Change presidential flag bearer started his attacks on Uhuru on Monday September 25th when he pleaded with the president’s family to take him to rehab.

Dida reiterated his worry about president Uhuru Kenyatta’s drunkenness during an interview with Ken Mijungu on NTV’s Side Bar on Wednesday night September 27th.

“Why do you stop a Kenyan and test whether he’s sober or not…you love him and you want to take care of his life because he will risk his life and the lives of the passengers. If you can’t trust one Kenyan with his life and four passengers, why do you allow the president to be drunk? Is he above the law?” Dida said in part.

Asked how he could prove his claim, Dida explained that anyone could tell Uhuru was a drunkard just by analyzing what how he acts and what other people say about him.

“It’s is an IEBC requirement that any presidential candidate must be tested and must be of sound mind. You analyse a character by what he says, by what he does and by what others say about him. When you add up to that, do you want to say the president is sober? Atwoli said please calm down and be sober when you are talking to people. Even the deputy president said he’s managing this country, and he says this talking to his people in Kalenjin language,” said Dida.

Abduba Dida: Uhuru should be taken to rehab, if you love and respect him, please take him there

Abduba Dida has shared his concerns about president Uhuru Kenyatta’s health. The former presidential candidate asked Uhuru’s family to take him to rehab saying that the move will be for his own good.

Speaking during a press conference on Monday September 25th, Dida explained that if he was president he would have given Uhuru a job only if he had gone to rehab first.

“Uhuru would have been one man who if he asks, God would have accepted his prayers but only after going for rehabilitation. Sincerely speaking… it is not an issue of tribal, Uhuru needs 3 months rehabilitation, urgent, if you love him and respect him, please take him there,” Abduba Dida said.

Dida also vowed to vote for Uhuru Kenyatta in repeat election if he goes for blood and urine tests. The Alliance for Real Change presidential flag bearer argued that the reddening of Uhuru’s eyes was an indication of substance abuse.

“I will vote for Uhuru Kenyatta if he goes for tests mkojo na damu and he’s free, i will vote for him…It’s not a joke. Kwanini watu sports wanakimbia alafu anaambiwa wewe simama because that running is extra ordinary, hebu leta mkojo na damu…anaambiwa umemeza kitu. Kwani who is he (Uhuru), how can your eyes be red 24/7? You know just asking. Nimekosa kuuliza hio?” Dida said.

“I will vote for Ruto in 2022 but now am voting for Raila”Donald Kipkorir reveals why he’s against Uhuru presidency

Flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir has openly stated why he ditched his friend Uhuru Kenyatta in favor of a Raila Odinga presidency.

Kipkorir, a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, stated that both Uhuru and Raila are sons of Kenya’s founding fathers but clarified that he will be voting for Raila because he wants to show that Kenya can still prosper without either a Kikuyu or Kalenjin president.

Donald Kipkorir and William Ruto

“Why I Am Voting Raila

“Most Kenyan votes vote along tribal lines without any debate, and I don’t begrudge. In 2022, I will vote for William Ruto without persuasion. But I will not vote because I hate other tribes or other candidates. I have never harbored any hatred or hate in my breast.

“The Presidential Race is now between two Princelings: Son of Jomo and Son of Jaramogi. Kenya’s two true Royal families. Majority of Kikuyus will vote for Uhuru, and Majority of Luos will vote Raila.

“Other tribes will vote for historical reasons and affiliations.

“Others will cast a negative vote; Voting for one candidate because they hate the other. Negative vote also cuts across the big tribes. Some tribes have been socialized to hate other tribes.

“I want to vote RAO not because of any of the above reasons. I consider both Princelings my friends though our backgrounds are as different as day and night. My vote is purely a mental trip …. I want to show that Kenya without either a Kikuyu or Kalenjin President wouldn’t be hit by an asteroid. And that Luos are just like you and I. When we all cross this mental bridge, we will be like Germany: holding General Elections and a global Marathon same day.”

Angry Isiolo kids slap Uhuru Kenyatta hard in the face (Video)

There have been at least two videos of kids in Mombasa and Kisumu expressing their love for president Uhuru Kenyatta.

A video of a kid in Mombasa singing Uhuru’s praise song and that of a kid in Kisumu expressing anger after Supreme Court nullied Uhuru’s win, went viral on social media a couple of days ago.

President Magufuli bans Uhuru Kenyatta’s Brookside Dairy from operating in Tanzania

Brookside Dairy has been blocked from accessing the Tanzanian market a week after Foreign Affairs CS Amina Mohamed with her Tanzanian counterpart struck a deal to lift trade restrictions between the two countries.

On April 24th, Kenya’s Petroleum Principal Secretary Andrew Kamau announced the ban on gas imports through Tanzania in a bid to eliminate illegal cooking gas filling plants that posed safety and security risks. The PS also imposed a ban on importation of wheat from Tanzania.

Tanzania immediately retaliated by imposing restrictions on milk and milk products and cigarettes manufactured in Kenya.

Foreign Affairs CS Amina Mohamed with her Tanzanian counterpart Augustine Mahiga held talks in Nairobi last week where a deal lifting restrictions was brokered.

But Tanzania made a U-turn a day ago and banned 20 Kenyan companies from accessing the Tanzanian market. The Standard reports that President Uhuru’s Brookside Dairy is among companies that have been slapped with the restriction.

Other companies affected by the trade ban include another milk processor New KCC, cigarette manufacturer BAT, all the cement makers, Bidco Oil Refineries and Vivo Llubricants which markets Shell lubricant brands.

Hostilities between the two countries have been the order of the day ever since Kenya lost bid to Tanzania to construct Uganda pipeline through its land.

With the new restrictions, Kenya stands to lose more since it exports more to Tanzania compared to Tanzania’s export to Kenya.

Uhuru gives Mombasa students Kes 2 million for waiting for him for so long

The president and his Jubilee brigade were on a vote hunt at the Coast on Tuesday July 18th. Uhuru dished out Kes 2 million to students who had waited for him for hours during his trip at the Coast.

President Uhuru intensified his campaign in Kwale, Kilifi and Mombasa counties on Tuesday in a bid sway electorates who largely voted for his main rival in the last general election.

The head of state was at the Kenya Coast National Polytechnic in Mombasa to flag off the first batch of equipment under the Kenya-China TVET project.

Uhuru however arrived late at the polytechnic causing students to wait for him for hours. And to compensate for his delay, the president dished out Kes 2 million to students who waited for him.

“I delayed because I was out seeking Kenyans’ votes. I know some of you have not eaten anything the whole day and others will not arrive home early because I have made you wait. Don’t worry I am giving the principal Kes 2 million so that you get sorted,” Uhuru told the students in his address.

“Tunajua unataka kura lakini kutubeba ujinga wacha” KOT reaction after Uhuru announced number of job he intends to create

President Uhuru Kenyatta amused Kenyans when he revealed the number of jobs he intends to create if he’s re-elected come August 8th.

Unemployment is a thorn in the government’s flesh, majority of youth across the country remain idle with no prospect of finding any job.

All presidential candidates are banking on getting votes from unemployed Kenyans with the promise of giving them jobs once elected to power.

President Uhuru Kenyatta through his Twitter handle revealed that he had created 2.3 million jobs during his first term in office, the president stated that he intends to create 6.5 million more jobs if he’s re-elected.

But Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) refused to be taken for a ride, most people questioned where the 2.3 million jobs created had gone.

Sonko snubbed as President Uhuru drives Evans Kidero in an ambulance…And Kenyans love every minute of it (Photos)

Is President Uhuru Kenyatta endorsing Evan Kidero? This was the question that crossed many people’s mind when the President was seen driving Nairobi governor in a brand new ambulance.

Jubilee’s Mike Sonko was nowhere close to State House when President Uhuru warmed up to his fiercest rival in Nairobi gubernatorial race.

Of all the governors present at State House during the function, President Uhuru chose to get in an ambulance with Evans Kidero.

Julie Gichuru takes the bullet for Uhuru Kenyatta as Kenyans roast her for siding with the president

Kenyans expected a journalist who moderated 2013 presidential debate to remain neutral but Julie Gichuru openly endorsed Uhuru Kenyatta and internet couldn’t handle it.

Last Friday night President Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto held an invite-only dinner at Safari Park Hotel to raise money for their re-election campaign.

Almost Kes 1 billion was raised for UhuRuto during the dinner; guests at the high profile event sat according to how much they contributed to the president re-election kitty.

Those who contributed more than 10 million sat closest to the president, those who offered at least 5 million were second on the seating arrangement while Kes 2.5 million and Kes 500,000 contributors followed respectively.

Media personalities Julie Gichuru and Caroline Mutoko were the emcees at exclusive fundraising dinner for the president and his deputy.

L-R: DP Ruto, Julie Gichuru, Uhuru Kenyatta and Caroline Mutoko at the fundraising dinner at Safari Park Hotel

“Totally inspirational evening with President Uhuru Kenyatta as we gathered to support his re-election bid. @caroline.mutoko shared amazing audio from his 2002 campaigns, his focus even then was a united Kenya, peace, movement from absolute centralised power to a devolved system and free education. Thank you to all those who made time and to so many more who are supporting the campaign via mobile money. We must believe in something and I believe in one Kenya, I believe in progress and strong effective partnerships to actualise development, I believe in each of us exercising our individual rights to vote, and I believe in respecting that right and loving you as my Kenyan brother or sister whatever the outcome, I believe in working together to make this nation rise to great heights of progress and prosperity for all. Wherever you stand politically, God bless you and God bless Kenya. Twende mbele pamoja ??” Julie Gichuru wrote on social media.

Julie’s post drew uproar from Kenyans who felt that she shouldn’t be taking sides since she’s a reputable journalist who had moderated 2013 presidential debate.

Some of the reactions from Kenyans were totally ugly prompting Julie Gichuru to respond to set the record straight.

“Dear Kenyans, I will say this as simply as I possibly can, we are in this nation together. If you cannot see the progress that has been made you have clearly chosen not to. Yes, there has been progress. Are there challenges? Yes, of course there are and both @caroline.mutoko and I speak openly and widely about them – from corruption to tribalism and much more. ION, I exited the news cycle close to two years ago (fascinating that you barely noticed as you keep discussing me in the context of news) and have the right to comment and take a position on issues. You cannot BULLY people into your chosen stand and if you cannot respect the fact that people can take a stand that is not based on personal benefit, then that speaks volumes about you not the person you are attacking. Bimbo insults don’t work either, for women who have carved the space that we have, sorry, it does not apply and again speaks volumes about the mindless misogyny of the abuser. For those sharing civilised perspectives, all are appreciated. Let’s engage in a civilised fashion but most of all, let us respect each others views. I have love for you irrespective of where you stand and it is my prayer that you can adopt that same attitude towards your fellow Kenyans. If you can’t, what does it say about you? God bless Kenya always ?????????”

President Uhuru gives his son Jomo Kenyatta first political assignment

Uhuru Kenyatta’s eldest son Jomo Kenyatta is on his way to join politics; the president’s action last weekend paved way for his son to step into his shoes once he retires.

The last time President Uhuru’s firstborn child was making headlines was when he married Achola Ngobi in a traditional Gikuyu wedding.

Jomo Kenyatta and Achola Ngubi during their traditional wedding

The 28-year-old ‘disappeared’ from limelight after his wedding until last weekend when he joined Jubilee Party’s top brass in a retreat to the Great Rift Lodge in Naivasha.

The Star reports that Uhuru appointed his son to six key units involved in strategizing his re-election bid. Among the six teams include Technical and Resources, Strategy and Theme advisers, Political professionals, Women and Youth grasssroot organizers and Communications and messaging.

Jomo Kenyatta has always been tipped to assume the mantle of leadership in the Kenyattas family once his dad retires from active politics. When President Uhuru tagged him along to inspect SGR project years ago, it became clear which of the Kenyatta’s son was to stand in the gap once Uhuru exits politics.

Jomo’s inclusion in president Uhuru re-election team is perceived as baby steps into active politics for the 28-year-old Kenyatta.

Designated survivor locked down, Ruto flown to all stations..How security prevented 1st and 2nd in succession line from traveling with Uhuru on same train

The Kenyan constitution outlines two people to succeed the president in case he dies while he’s in power. The two people named in line of succession were to travel with President Uhuru in the same Madaraka Express train but security chiefs made sure they didn’t.

In case President Uhuru dies today, William Ruto automatically becomes president. And in the event that both Uhuru and Ruto die, then Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi becomes president.

And if Uhuru, Ruto and Muturi die at ago, then there will be chaos because the constitution is not clear on the line of succession in this event.

This is why security chiefs left nothing to chance when Uhuru, Ruto and Muturu were supposed to be in the same train travelling from Mombasa to Nairobi; they made sure the three were not on the same train.

Uhuru launches SGR project in Mombasa

The Standard reports that Justin Muturi was locked down in parliament building on Wednesday May 31st as he was preparing to leave Nairobi for Mombasa to join President Uhuru to ride the train to Nairobi.

“They told him there was no way he was going to ride that train. They also told him the only time he will leave his office was when his motorcade will be headed to Syokimau. He stayed at Syokimau for several hours waiting to welcome the President and his deputy aboard the train from Mombasa,” Sunday Standard quoted a source who told them about Muturi being locked down at parliament building.

Justine Muturi (right) welcomes Uhuru and Ruto at Syokimau station

Securing President Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto while travelling on an unarmored train that passed through the jungle was a nightmare for security apparatus.

The Standard says Ruto was flown on one of the choppers that was shadowing the train Uhuru was traveling on, apparently the DP was dropped at every station; Mariakani, Voi, Emali, Mtito Andei at around the same the train arrived to join president Uhuru in inspecting the termini and addressing the public.

Uhuru and Ruto address people at Athi River terminus

The only time Uhuru and Ruto rode on the same train was when the train arrived at Athi River terminus; they two Ruto rode together in the same wagon for a fairly short distance until the train arrived at Syokimau station where Justin Muturi was waiting for them.

President Uhuru Kenyatta was among the first Kenyans on the maiden SGR train trip from Miritini station in Mombasa to Syokimau station in Nairobi.

The Madaraka Express train traveled for 7 hours from Mombasa to Nairobi making several stops at various stations along the way.

So how was the president protected given that the train passed through jungles and thicket where everything posed a threat to his security?

No stone was left unturned during the president’s trip, all the armed forces of Kenya; Kenya Army, Kenya Navy, Kenya Police, Administration Police, Kenya Wildlife Services, Kenyan Prisons and Kenya Forest Service were tasked with protecting Uhuru during his trip.

Both military attack helicopters and police choppers were scrambled to protect president Uhuru from the air. The six termini along the SGR route were also under heavy security.

Watch the video below to see how Uhuru was protected by choppers during his trip:

Video evidence proves President Magufuli is out to destroy Kenya…How he blackmailed Museveni to drop pipeline deal with Kenya

It’s clear President Uhuru Kenyatta doesn’t know about ‘the art of the deal’, President Magufuli played dirty to win pipeline deal with Uganda when Kenya was almost about to sign the deal with Museveni.

Details of how Tanzania managed win pipeline deal with Uganda came to light during the signing ceremony in Dar es Salaam over the past weekend.

Hoima – Tanga pipeline deal is a bitter pill for Kenyans to swallow because the Uganda oil pipeline deal was supposed to pass through Kenya.

Presidents Uhuru Kenyatta, Yuweri Museveni, John Magufuli and Paul Kagame

President John Pombe Magufuli revealed that he blackmailed Yuweri Museveni to dump his pipeline deal with Kenya in favor of Tanzania.

Magufuli said that he called Museveni and reminded him it was Julius Nyerere (Tanzania’s founding president) who helped him rose to power and not Kenya. He said that he told the Ugandan president that Tanzanian blood was shed to get him to power and that he should repay Tanzanians with the pipeline deal.

President Magufuli also mentioned that Tanzania offered Uganda a better transit route for general transport than any other East African country.

He boasted of the construction of Tanzanian Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) which is far superior to Kenya’s. Magufuli said that their SGR will be powered by electricity and will carry more load than any other in the region. He also stated that their electric trains will travel faster (160km/hr) and that it will connect Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda in a matter of hours.

Well, Magufuli is clearly out to destroy Kenya as East Africa’s economic powerhouse, but can you really blame him? He’s doing everything to benefit his country. It’s time for Kenya to also play dirty for the benefit of our economy.

After president Uhuru and Raila, another Nasa principal seeks divine intervention from highly placed spiritual leader

Kenya’s political leaders are rushing to seek spiritual help ahead of August 8th general election. Both sides of the political divide are meeting with religious leaders.

Nasa flag bearer Raila Odinga caused a stir when he was recently seen praying at the Western Wall /Wailing Wall in Jerusalem Old City. President Uhuru Kenyatta had also prayed at the same wall in February 2016 during his state visit to Israel.

Raila Odinga is richer than Uhuru Kenyatta! Baba’s new net worth shocks Kenyans

President Uhuru Kenyatta was thought to be the richest politician in Kenya – he has appeared on Forbes list of richest African presidents. But apparently Raila is richer than him.

In 2011, Forbes estimated Uhuru’s net worth at $500 million or Kes 51 billion. Most of his wealth came from property. President owns stakes in Kenya’s largest dairy company Brookside Dairies, media company Mediamax, Heritage Hotels, Commercial Bank of Africa and hundreds of thousands of hectares of prime land in Kenya.

Robert Alai, former Raila Odinga ally who now working for Uhuru Kenyatta, has revealed that the government did an audit and they discovered that Raila’s personal wealth was in excess of Kes 3 trillion or $29 billion.

“After recent government audit, Raila’s personal wealth is found to be in excess of Ksh 3Trillion. Does it reflect in the life of his constituents? In 2007 alone, one country (Germany) gave him Ksh 110billion. He never invested the amount in his campaigns,” Robert Alai wrote.

Even though Alai probably inflated the figure, there is speck of truth in his claim given that a multi-agency meeting chaired by the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua was held at Harambee House last Thursday, the meeting resolved to closely monitor the interactions between the political parties and foreign donors, with more focus inevitably on Nasa.

Robert Alai

The Sunday Nation reports that the committee comprises of Mr Kinyua, officials from the Treasury, the National Intelligence Service (NIS), the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, and representatives from the Kenya Revenue Authority among others.

Is Raila really a dollar billionaire or Alai is just dragging his name through the mud?

The daily established that Uhuru demolished the historic house he inherited from his father to put up a Kes 700 million fortress around Caledonia Estate which has bulletproof windows and special sensors.

Uhuru’s mansion is privately funded but all security features are designed by government experts. Satellite images from Google Maps confirm Uhuru’s new home which shares a fence with State House.

The Google image shows a swimming pool, a helipad on the roof of the upper level and a driveway with a mini roundabout.

The Star says that Uhuru’s property is protected round the clock by GSU officer, apparently construction workers on site are not allowed to enter the premises with their mobile phones to avoid leaking photos of the mansion to the public.

No one outside the construction crew knows the nature of the interior, a concrete wall and high-tech electric fence have concealed the president’s property from the public.

Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga’s family members who lost terribly in Jubilee and ODM primaries (Photos)

Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta’s kin have been thrown out in the cold by voters in the recently concluded ODM and Jubilee primaries.

Raila’s cousin Jakoyo Midiwo lost to Elisha Odhiambo in ODM primaries for Gem parliamentary seat. Jakoyo only managed 8,900 votes against Elisha’s 13,400 votes.

Midiwo claimed the votes were rigged, he plans to inform the people of Gem of his next move if his concerns are not addressed.

Raila’s elder brother Oburu Oginga had also earlier lost his bid for Bondo parliamentary seat to incumbent MP Gideon Ochanda.

Ochanda had won with 28,446 votes against Oburu’s 4,000 votes; Raila’s brother rejected the results and ordered a recount. He argued that most polling stations in Bondo were raided by Ochanda’s supporters who kicked out his gents and took ballot boxes.

The recount was finally done and Oburu emerged as the winner with 15,784 votes against Ochanda’s 9,538 votes.

Crossing over to Uhuru Kenyatta’s backyard, voters decided to reject the president’s niece. Annah Nyokabi, the incumbent Kiambu Women Representative, was trounced by radio journalist Gathoni Wamuchomba – Nyokabi only managed to garner 26, 768 votes against Wamuchomba’s 374,306 votes.

Robert Alai wins big against President Uhuru in court case

The controversial blogger has been under siege for close to three years as state machinery decided to punish him for insulting president Uhuru Kenyatta.

Sometimes in 2014, Robert Alai took to social media to rant about Uhuru Kenyatta, he referred the head of state as an ‘adolescent president’.

“Insulting Raila is what Uhuru can do. He hasn’t realized the value of the presidency. Adolescent president. This seat needs maturity,” Robert Alai tweeted.

The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) instigated a reign of terror upon Alai, he was arrested and sued for undermining the presidency.

Alai has been fighting to be acquitted in the corridors of justice, he even filed a counter suit against the Attorney General and DPP claiming his rights had been violated when charges against him were preferred.

The High Court on Wednesday 26th directed that the DPP should drop charges against Alai. Justice Enoch Chacha Mwita declared that a section of the law that stipulates undermining authority of a public officer as an offence was unconstitutional.

And just like that the controversial blogger was off the hook for calling Uhuru Kenyatta an ‘adolescent president. What a win!

Mtongwe ferry ramp collapses barely two months after President Uhuru commissioned Mtongwe ferry service (Photos)

Hassan Joho must be laughing wherever he is – President Uhuru Kenyatta blocked him from attending Mtongwe ferry re-launch but now the Jubilee flagship project is turning out to be real white elephant.

President Uhuru caused a stir when he commissioned the resumption of Mtongwe Ferry services in Mtongwe, Mombasa County on March 13th 2017 – he blocked Joho from attending the function and told him to stop following him around because he wasn’t his wife.
