Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan and Shakib Lutaaya are officially married! The couple tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Pretoria, South Africa, on October 3, 2023.

Friends and family, including some of the cast of the Netflix reality show “Young, Famous & African,” were in attendance to celebrate the couple’s special day. All of Zari’s children were also present, with her three older sons dressed in all-white outfits.

Zari looked stunning in a gold gown with a white veil and net, while Shakib was dapper in a shiny suit. Their youngest son, Nilan, was dressed in a similar outfit to his father, while Zari’s daughter, Tiffah, wore a beautiful gown.

The wedding comes just months after the couple had a traditional wedding known as a Nikah in April 2023.

In a previous interview, Zari revealed that she has everything she needs in life and that what she needed most was to strengthen her faith as a Muslim. Shakib gave her a Quran as her bride price.

Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has shown off her new teeth and dimples after undergoing a dental cosmetic procedure in Istanbul, Turkey.

Zari shared a post on social media showing off her new smile, which features snow-white teeth and a set of dimples that she did not have before.

The post was captioned,

“Me lately since visiting @daryadentalturkey 😁😁 I can teeth for days now🙈 💋.”

Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan has opened up about two expensive body enhancement surgeries she underwent.

In an interview with TV presenter Faridah Nakazibwe on the show Mwasuze Mutya, Zari shared her decision to undergo tummy surgery and leg surgery to remove excess fat.

Zari explained that she opted for an abdominoplasty, a cosmetic surgery procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the abdomen while tightening the abdominal muscles. She also had surgery on her legs to remove unwanted fat.

Zari clarified that these surgeries are not “plastic” in the sense of adding synthetic materials, but rather involve the removal of fat from specific areas of her body.

She emphasized that there is nothing wrong with undergoing cosmetic surgery and that people often misunderstand the process.

“I just took fat out of my body where I felt like it was not necessary,” she said. “I have had five kids, natural births, and every time you give birth, you are left with a mummy tummy. I used to exercise, but that mummy tummy did not go away, and I needed to get rid of it, and there is nothing wrong with it.”

Zari further explained that in her world, South Africa, cosmetic surgery is considered a lifestyle choice. She expressed her belief that if one can afford it, there is no harm in undergoing such procedures.

Zari confidently dismissed her critics, asserting that they only discuss her in jealousy, wishing they could look as good as she does.

When asked about the cost of her body enhancement surgeries, Zari admitted that they came with a hefty price tag. Zari Hassan Luutaya has been in the news recently after a leaked audio of her criticizing her husband, Shakib Luutaya, went viral. In the audio, Zari called her husband foolish and a man who has no confidence.

“I know my man, and I know he loves me. So, I’m not worried about these other women,” she said.
