Terence Creative In Nasty Wrangle With Netizens After Defending Kenyan Celebrities (Screenshot)

Comedian and content creator Terence Creative is in hot soup after his statement that defended struggling Kenyan celebrities who end up seeking for financial assistance from their fans after undergoing financial drawbacks.

According to Terence, it’s not peculiar for celebrities to ask for mchango when they face difficulties. He claims they are normal people just like the rest; and shouldn’t be denigrated over the same. Good examples include Akuku Danger & Omosh- who were well sorted by netizens when they needed help.

Terence’s statement read;

”Asking for friends, mbona hampendi ‘celebrities’ tukiwaekea paybill number mtusaidie wakati tukona shida na sisi ni binadamu kama nyinyi na pia tunashikangwa na shida kama nyinyi tu?”

Daddy Owen thinks the latter sentiments are despicable; since most people have placed celebrities on a pedestal for showing off their exorbitant lifestyles. Everyone believes they have enough money to cater for their bills whenever there’s a drawback.

Daddy Owen reacted;

”Shida ni “maceleb” waneweka picha za soft life ???????????? bro mtu akisota unaingia ground.. unapiga mboka unarudi ???????????? speaking from experience.. I know highs and lows of ths thing.. nilipiga low but sahii niko freshi barida.. ???????????? its doable! But on a serious note, if the paybill is for a cause like helping the society or giving, I have seen Kenyans coming through.. so I guess many so called “celebrities” we should use our platforms in giving back, coz they participated as well in building who u r, remember the followers, the likes.. the shows.. the sales.. come from the collective society as a whole. Let’s give back.”
