Uproar! Raila Odinga is sworn in solo as Kalonzo ‘the watermelon’ skips the event

Nasa supporters are once again calling Kalonzo Musyoka ‘Judas’. The Nasa co-principal was nowhere to be seen as Raila Odinga took oath of office.

Raila was finally sworn-in at around 3:20pm at a packed Uhuru Park. The Nasa leader was expected to arrive at Uhuru Park in company of his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka but he was nowhere to be seen.

Raila was sworn in by TJ Kajwang who is also an advocate of the High Court. He received a certificate after he took oath of office as the people’s president.

Other principals missing

Raila assured his supporters that Kalonzo would be sworn in at a different date. Other Nasa principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula also didn’t attend the swearing-in.

Kenyans on Twitter have still expressed their anger with Kalonzo even after Raila explained that he will be sworn in at a different date.
