‘Women With Tattoos Are Not Wife Material’- Oga Obinna

Kiss FM radio presenter and comedian Oga Obinna is inadvertently trending over his recent sentiments that roped in several reactions from both men and women. The funnyman recently shared while at Kiss FM that women with piercings and tats should not be married since they can not cosset marriage.

He challenged Kamene, who revealed she had tattoos that she got when she was 15 years old but had not changed and looked the same. The Kula Cooler show host noted when one was aged, the tattoo would change, and he made an example of a rose flower turning to ‘managu’ with old age.

“A woman who has tattoos is not wife material and is devilish, a woman who has tattoos is not wife material, hujawahi skia wanasema if uko na tattoos wanasema hutaingia mbinguni hao ni mawrong numbers (You’ve never heard people saying if you have tatoos you won’t get into heaven? Those ones are wrong numbers)”

Kamene greatly disagreed with Obinna on the issue, claiming that tats are not a consideration when it comes to choosing a wife.

Most netizens were disenchanted by Obinna’s sentiments and claimed everyone does what makes them happy and shouldn’t be judged. One of the conspicuous reactions was Murugi Munyi’s, who divulged about her numerous piercings and tattoos yet she has been married for 5 years.

” I’ve been married for 5 years. I have a belly piercing, 7 piercings in each ear, a nose ring and 5 tattoos (all piercings and 4 of those tattoos I had way before I got married). The only thing that makes a ‘wife material’ is being a woman.”

Obinna himself has a tat, and no one’s judging him. Do you agree with his sentiments?
