Kenyans On Twitter Rebuke The Government

Under the hash tag #STOPTANARIVERKILLINGS and #findkibaki Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) have put their heads (or is it tweets) together to press the Government to act swiftly to avert further deaths in the volatile Tana River region.

So far several people have lost their lives in the skirmishes that started two weeks ago. KOT has become a force to reckon with especially as far as correcting the ills in the society is concerned. The online community is well remembered for lashing out at Korean Airlines forcing the airline to take back their words when it alleged that Kenya is a country full of “primitive energy”.

Leading other Kenyan celebs from the front, rapper Nonini is using his morning show on 1FM to petition the government to swing into action as well as to urge fellow Kenyans to co-exist in peace.
