Kenyans To Be Among The First In The World To Watch This Highly Anticipated Film

Kenyans will be among one of the first in the world to watch Hunger Games Catching Fire.

It will join the rest of the world as IMAX XX Century holds a midnight screening tonight for the world premier of the highly anticipated second installment of the film in the Hunger Games series.

Catching Fire will see the return of Jennifer Lawrence in the key starring role. Most of the stars from the first film are also returning, including Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland.

However, director Gary Ross has been replaced by Francis Lawrence whose work was previously seen on film (Constantine, I Am Legend), TV (Kings, Touch) and music videos for Daughtry, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake among others.

The film is based on the highly successful and critically lauded Suzanne Collins trilogy of books. The films followi in the footsteps of the books, with this instalment currently holding a 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
