Leading Actor & IMAX Manager Accused of Defiling a 14 Year Old Girl. But Where Does the Truth Lie?

Towards the end of last week, a Facebook account, Mamaya Nani, purported that one Davis Ivor Nato, seasoned actor and the Sales and Events Manager IMAX Kenya is a child molester. Very damning allegations.

According to the account holder, Davis “…goes from xul to xul defiling young xul galz.” They go on to allege that he molested their 14 old daughter.

However, everything about the account doesn’t look right. First of all, all indicators point to a parody account created specifically to drag Davis’s name in mud. ‘Mamaya Nani’ has only 13 friends and the post about Davis is the only one visible on the Timeline.

Secondly, why would they post a matter that’s already in Police files on social media? And finally, everything about the grammar just raises eyebrows.

This story has since been published on Kenyan Post, something that has made Davis react since his reputation is on the line.

After speaking to Davis, it now turns out to be a serious case of a name tarnishing.

He reveals;

For a few months I have been threatened by some individuals that they will tarnish my name as an actor for exposing them of an illegal act they were planning. They have been going round asking people about my past and using other people to access my personal info. I didn’t think they would go this far. A fake account has been opened is posting the lies about me all over Facebook.

Yesterday I was informed that Kenya Daily Post blog had published the story. I cannot explain much as the police are already investigating the issue. Am trying to get back to acting after I took a year break, and I hope this won’t mess my plans.
