Lupita Nyong’o Hanging Out with Oprah Winfrey (PHOTOS)

Kenyan TV star, Lupita Nyong’o, continues with her ‘onslaught’ on Hollywood as she rubbed shoulders with the biggest names in world’s number one home of movies. During a roundtable organized by The Hollywood Reporter (THR) magazine, the 30 year old had a chance to engage with Amy Adams, Emma Thompson, Julia Roberts, Octavia Spencer and Oprah Winfrey.

THR admits that it had a hard time trying to bring together the 6 performers since Lupita, Emma and Amy have been juggling back-to-back movies besides the challenge of getting enough time with the actresses to include an hour-long conversation, the requisite grooming, behind-the-scenes video and an elaborate photo shoot.

But the shoot was finally successful and the 6 stars will grace the Dec 6. issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine. Here are the behind the scenes of THR’s actress roundtable;

Lupita could not hide her joy about hanging out with Oprah and she let it known.

“I grew up in Kenya, and a lot of our programming was from all over the world, and we didn’t see ourselves onscreen. It was very rare that you’d see people that look like me. And there was Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah and everything. It’s so meaningful to be sitting here beside you,” said 12 Years a Slave actress.
