Meet 1824’s Sheesha Guy Who Wrote A Status That Got A million Comments And More Than 500k Likes
Steve Muriuki is He, an overnight internet god.
His social media antics never fall short, he keeps his legions of followers entertained with hilarious jibber-jabber on an hourly basis. When he is not making fun of light-skinned females from his qwerty keyboard, he is probably thinking of something even funnier to say-with the aid of his two equally funny compadres- the affable Methu Muthee and the ladies man himself- Kev Gikonyo.
Last week on 26th Steve wrote a status that has by today garnered 1.3 million comments and more than 6 hundred likes on Facebook, bigger than anything else in Kenya history from corporate, celebrities or even the Son Of Jomo himself.

So who is this Steve and how did he become so popular?
Steve is a student at Jkuat pursuing a course in procurement and contracts- when he is skiving classes, like most of us, he has a part time job at the 1824 whisky bar with a friend of his-they are in charge of Sheesha at the Joint( I know Njoki Chege would love to disagree with this sort of engagement- but it’s whatever)
