Meet DJ Trancic, the 21 Year Old Taking Nairobi by Storm

Quick question, what exactly where you doing at 21? Were you probably sitting in your campus hostel broke and hungry after imbibing all your helb money? Or were you probably having a not so good time in some downtown shanty contemplating what to do with your life? Well not this young lad.

At only 21, he’s got his life all figured out. If he’s not engaging some constructive work in school, then he’s producing and directing music videos and later on engaging in his favourite past time, deejaying.

Yes, at night he comes alive and he’s managed to save up and buy his own equipment and now he’s on his way to taking over Nairobi if not the whole country. Like last weekend he was performing alongside Daddy Owen at Mr. and Mrs. KEMU in an event which ran throughout Friday night before finally driving to Nairobi on Saturday just in time to host patrons at Picco Lounge South B another event which lasted the whole night.

Now sit back, relax and look around. Which 21 old has such tenacity, vehemence and passion? Your guess is as good as mine, none. And he’s quite talented too. I have had the pleasure to listen to him and his skills on the ones and two’s are quite exemplary. Actually, you can catch him yourself at the same Picco Lounge this coming Saturday.
