Meet Karay Blue, a Kenyan Lady Based in Boston and Determined to Give Lupita Nyong’o a Run for her Money

The year was 2014 and a young woman dressed in a pleated sky blue Prada gown walked up to a stage full of hundreds of thousands of people to receive a prestigious award and soon after uttered the words, “no matter where you are from, your dreams are valid” words which have since changed the world.

That woman was none other but our very own Lupita Nyong’o who gave a new leap of faith for all the young brilliant minds in Africa wondering whether it’s worth putting up all the hard work being preached to them on a daily basis.

Two years later, there is yet another woman (where are all the men by the way) determined to do exactly the same and who also happens to reside in the states. Meet Karay Blue Kenyan bred but based in Boston Massachusetts and who has decided to inject a new breath of hope in all the kids leaving with autism in Kenya.

This she has decided to do in the first ever visual album to celebrate mothers, families and communities living with loved ones with autism across the world. She hopes by collaborating with other artists like MOG, Richie longomba and the likes of Juacali, then a lot of people can get to listen to good music with a purpose.

Now that’s one hell of a noble cause and we urge you watch out for the release on the 1st of June which I’m pretty sure will a hit.
