Meet Karey Blue The New Lady in Town Determined to Change How You View Kenyan Music. You Will Love Her!

Kenyan music is boring, Kenyan music is low quality, Kenyan artistes are not creative, they don’t know how to act the part and most notably Kenya music doesn’t have an agenda. Those are not my words but words of many fans out here that have become frustrated and disappointed by majority of content Kenyan artists put up.

You can hear them complaining in matatus, grumbling in bars and cursing in matatus. Kenyan artists, do you have any plans of hearing their pleas? Are you willing to take that 360 degree turn taken by one Karay Blue?

Born in Kenya but bred in the States, currently residing there actually, she has decided to drop a full album aimed at drawing inspiration, making a difference and entertaining at the same time. Rarely do you find a Kenyan doing that.

“Writings allow you to express your thoughts feelings, emotions in a way that you can look and experience therapy. It is commonly referred to as author therapy and that is why people write songs, biographies and autobiographies. Working on my music right now is the most therapeutic thing I have done lately” She recently said but little did she know how much therapy  she’s providing to kids, mothers and families of the thousands of kids suffering this condition.

The album is the first visual album to celebrate mothers, families and communities living with kids with autism through music geared towards improving livelihoods for the capacity buildup in addressing autism prevalence across the world.

She has worked alongside the likes of mOG and Juacali so you can be guaranteed it’s going to be a hit. I can’t wait for first June where it’s scheduled to drop.
