Meet Kenya’s Mkokoteni Guy who Got A Chance To Interview Barrack Obama!

It is two months since Potus graced Nairobi for one of the biggest visits to Kenya from an in-office American president. 

 But just like Neyo, Obama has a soft spot for Capital Fm, a station know for its heavily accented presenters. It was the only radio station in the country that got the honors of interviewing the president of the United states. 

You would wonder who in the station would get the honor of doing the interview?  The man who interviewed Potus is none other than Francis Mbatha, a camera man and video editor at Capiro fm ( See what I did there?) 

Before finding his way to the station, Francis was just another regular “Mkokoteni guy” trying to make ends meet. How he made it to one of Kenya’s premium Radio  station is the stuff of legends.
