Mining CS Dan Kazungu to fly son across the world for scoring 428 in KCPE

The results of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) were released a week ago by Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’I, and amazingly most pupils passed even as this year’s KCPE was said to be the most guarded to prevent incidences of cheating.
Dan Kazungu’s son was among the children of prominent persons that passed with flying colors in 2016 KCPE; his son scored 428 out of the possible 500.

The Star reports that the Mining CS plans to take his son 13-year-old, Nigel Thoya,for a tour of America, Middle East and Australia.
The top student in 2016 KCSE, Victor Odhiambo, who scored 436 marks, only beat Kazungu’s son with 8 marks. The Star quoted Kazungu as saying that his son was the next Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg in the making.
 
The Mining CS plans to take Nigel to Silicon Valley in US as he has a passion for software engineering. Silicon Valley is a tech hub for start-ups; global technology companies like Apple, Facebook and Google were all started at Silicon Valley.
Nigel will also be flown to the Middle East and Australia as part of his tour around the world.
