Murfy’s Flaw.

I love the diversity of music that Kenyan musicians posses these days. History are the days we only had ‘Kapuka’ and ‘Zilizopendwa’. I don’t even know where to begin on The band “Murfy’s Flaw”. Their music can be described as alternative rock.  The band consists of six artistes,

five ladies(Reema, Punky Monkey, Jojo, Jozie and Vickie) and one guy(No. 9). How the guy, survives, I really don’t know.

The band has gained more fame from last year but it was formed way back in 2007.

Their first album, ‘Makosa’ was released in 2008 and their latest, ‘Hello light’, in November 2011. ‘Hello light’ is the single that has made them known to most Kenyans. Other hit songs from the album are ‘In silence’ and ‘rumours’.

One thing’s for sure about these guys, they know what they’re doing. It’s not easy for Africans to do and perform rock music, so I must acknowledge their talent. So, for the Kenyans who want to major in Rock music, like say, Kamata Cables, I kindly suggest you seek advice from this multi-cultural band, no offence intended.
