Everything you need to know about the first phone call President Trump made to Uhuru

After much panic that Trump would delegate Kenya to an endless pit of neglect, the president of the Free State finally made his first phone call to Uhuru and he had nothing but good things to say surprisingly.

First of all he commended Uhuru for all the good work he had embarked on fighting terrorism and especially the Al Shabab.

He also talked about our economic ties and the need to boost bilateral trade and investment in Kenya and the broader East Africa region.

basically the leaders reaffirmed the strong bilateral relationship between the two countries.

Uhuru is the fourth African leader Trump has called having talked to president Buhari of Nigeria, South Africa’s Zuma and Egypt’s Fattah el-Sissi.
