Harrison Tare Okiri, better known by his stage name Harrysong, is a Nigerian artist, musician and instrumentalist who rose to popularity after his tribute melody to Nelson Mandela won the “Most Downloaded Callertune Award” at The Headies 2013.[1] Harrysong was conceived in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria to Ijaw guardians yet moved to Lagos in 2007 in the wake of spending some of his initial life in Port Harcourt. Before marking to QuestionMark Entertainment, Harrysong used to perform around evening time clubs until the point when he met Kcee who acquainted him with top music personalities.[2] In 2014, Harrysong was selected in the “Best Pop/R&B Artist of the Year” classification at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards after the arrival of his outline topping tune “Beta Pikin”.[3]

He was conceived as the single youngster to Ijaw guardians in Warri, Delta State. After the demise of his mom, a stressed connection amongst him and his progression mother prompted his drop-out from school and his association with music became subsequent to moving to Port Harcourt.

At age eleven, his music profession began as a congarist in the congregation his mom filled in as the music chief before he went ahead to learn contemporary gospel music. In 2007, he moved to Lagos as the lead artist of a live band who perform in night clubs until the point when he met Kcee which prompted him marking for Five Star Music.[4] His ascent to acclaim came when he discharged the single “I’m In Love” and “Taiye and Kehinde” with the music video of the previous fixing music video diagrams including Trace TV. He went ahead to discharge his presentation collection Testify through QuestionMark Entertainment in 2012.
