African rapper KobbySalm is a sure hitmaker when it comes to rap music. 2 months ago he released another banger dubbed “Rejoyce” which is currently one of the gospel ministry’s most listened to jam .The song enjoys over 135,000 YouTube views with great streams on other online platforms, Just to get to know him better;
Born Samuel Adjel Darteh in West Africa. KobbySalm is a brother of 3 amazing sisters from whom he enjoys sibling support ,save for his amazing parents.
He is a graduate of journalism from African University College of Communication (A.U.C.C).
He has been a lover of music since his childhood and didn’t release a song untill 2005 when “Baby” came out banging while in Senior High School.
2013 would come with “True Love” ft Kesse, thus paving way for his many opportunities in the entertainment industry.
Spiritually would then arrive knocking at the right time and when it did hit him right he decided to go full christian/gospel rap, which is popular in Ghana as Urban gospel. This was in 2014.
2015 for the rapper came in handy with his first gospel jam “Wish I Could Sing”.A song released under his own label GUESS WHO IT IS FAMILY.
KobbySalm has since advanced his rap career with hit after hit,from Satan Claps to Personal Love and guess what ! To date he sings Hossana.
Aside from Music KobbySalm engages with Building & Construction as manager of Friends Impex Ventures ,owned by his father.
Despite his many involvements ,he still got time to secure major collaborations with acts such as Canton Jones ( ASA), Nkay (Nigeria), Okey Sokay (Nigeria), Adomaa Music (Ghana) and Empress Citty (Ghana).
KobbySalm is equally an award winning rapper having bagged almost 10 major awards ,one notable achievement being his joint album with Kingzkid which came with songs ; Overdose, Sing Your Praise,Assurance.
His latest album IN THE MIDST OF COMFORT, A 20 track album released in 2020 is equally gaining global numbers. Let’s just say Africa is watching KobbySalm from a close range.
