‘News’ Of Cyprian Nyakundi’s Assassination Attempt Blows up Twitter as His Friend Xtian Dela Sufferers a Road Accident (Photos)
A tweet sent by a Kenyan on Twitter by the name Kenya West© @KinyanBoy broke the news that controversial blogger; Cyprian Nyakundi had been involved in a road accident as he headed home.
The tweep then added this hash tag to the tweet #NyakundiAssassinationAttempt suggesting that this was not a normal accident, someone had tried to run Cyprian off the road. Kenyans chimed in the hash tag and soon #NyakundiAssassinationAttempt was at the top of the trending topics.
Some went on to condemn Nyakundi’s enemies while others expressed doubts on whether Nyakundi was in an accident and if someone had tried assassinating him.
Cyprian who is usually vocal in such matters has chosen not to comment on the trending topic and it was business as usual on his Twitter Timeline.
Coincidentally, as news of Nyakundi’s alleged assassination trended, his acquaintance, Xtian Dela was involved in what he calls a ‘grizzly’ road accident in Kitui. Luckily he escaped with a few broken bones and even managed to send out this tweet:
