Comedian, I Go Dye Speaks about Nigerian Politics in Parables

Nigerian comedian, I Go Dye, never minces words when he has to speak on any topic and lately, the nation’s politics seem to have peeked his interest.

In a recent post on his Instagram page, the comedian chose to speak in parables. This was in a bid to share his thoughts on the issue of ‘godfatherism’ in Nigerian politics.

I Go Dye says politicians should share in the suffering of the masses.

He wrote;

We when old for village na parable we take dey talk.

Nigeria ,When political battles are drawn, the end is often predicated on what the masses have gained; irrespective of who calls the shots. It’s a simple analogy; every time the flocks go out feeding,or seen walking aimlessly for food,at the appropriate time the shepherd would led them back to his own destination, just like the delegate.
Treat all men with humility ,by sharing in their sufferings and pains,so that when the confrontations come,the masses will stand beside you. Political godfathers are made indisputable when their anointed one’s fail to feel his own pain not the pain of the masses, otherwise no one is greater than the will of the people so when you ignored the masses, you are on your own lane, always show your people love and selfless sacrifices. Amb Francis Agoda.

Very well said though.
