Following Glo Mega Tour, Actress, Juliet Ibrahim Gives Kudos to Globacom

After touring Nigeria’s major cities, thanks to Glo who decided to take entertainment to it’s subscribers, the actress can only be thankful for the experience.

Juliet Ibrahim took to Instagram to appreciate the telecommunication company for their contribution to the entertainment industry which she says has the potential of being the largest employer of labour.

Through the Glo mega tour, the actress opined that so many lives have been touched as so many needs were met through the opportunities availed by the show to different people in different capacities to make a living.

She encourage Government, brands and businesses to help the industry grow as there is much money to be made from it. Globacom can’t do it alone she said.

Here’s what she wrote…

I have been on the road since April traveling round Nigeria with comedians, musicians and fellow actors.
In all this time, one thing I’ve observed in all the venues is that
the audience is hungry for entertainment, good entertainment. Now, guess what sector has
the potential of becoming the biggest employer of labour? I bet you guessed right, “The entertainment industry!”. The fact that California has a bigger economy than mighty Texas with all its oil is no fluke. Potential fades out in the absence of careful and deliberate actions. We need to begin to evaluate the value of an Olamide as an export product, not to mention the likes of Tuface etc, the list goes on and on.
Thank God for Globacom! Imagine the hundreds of thousands of people who were fed, school fees that were paid, needs that were met and financial burdens that were lifted by the virtue of the fact that hundreds of people were hired as
back house and front house staff, entertainers, etc by Globacom throughout this period.
Entertainment is money, Youth culture is money. Plenty money. The government needs to implement and enforce policies that would help it grow, and risk takers are needed for this reality to unfold into existence. Brands & multinationals need to critically look at the entertainment industry and see the different ways of growing it. Globacom cannot grow it alone. Everyone must contribute their quota.
Here’s to @globacomlimited for being magnanimous. #Globacom #kudos#GloMegaMusicTour #GloLafftaFest thanks to @mofedamijo for this write up! On point, inspiring and honestly couldn’t have been put any better. #Julietibrahim #brandambassador#Gloambassador #appreciative #influencer#brandinfluencer #styleinfluencer #brand.
