Controversial Neno Evangelism preacher Pastor James Maina Ng’ang’a is once again on the spotlight after he allegedly killed a motorist before fleeing the scene.

According to Mediamax, pastor Ng’ang’a was drunk-driving when he caused the accident.

It is alleged that the controversial preacher who owns a church at the Haile Selassie-Uhuru Highway roundabout was very drunk and was driving on the opposite side of the road when he hit a Toyota Saloon car head-on with his red Range Rover, killing the driver of the Toyota Saloon instantly.

He then fled the scene, leaving other occupants of the Toyota Saloon trapped in the car with serious injuries.

According to an eye witness, the city preacher was driving his red range-rover, KCD 0600 Q, on the wrong side when he had a head on collision with another Saloon Car. After the fatal accident that killed the driver of the Saloon car on the spot, Ng’ang’a fled the scene leaving other people in the saloon car in pain, Mediamax reports.

It is also alleged that his car’s insurance cover had expired and he had bribed the police as cover up.

This is not the first time Pastor Ng’ang’a is hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

He was accused by his former wife of infidelity and harassment when she filed for divorce and the upkeep of their daughter last year, something that cast the rot in the house of worship.
