Breaking Bad is a hugely popular series among Kenyans having shattered records in the US as the best American TV series. The series is just on another level and so obsessing, why lie? Well, Mugambi Nthiga – he of Nairobi Half Life – is one of the lucky guys to have experienced Breaking Bad in real life.

He bumped into Giancarlo Esposito at a past Kenya International Film Festival actors’ workshop;

Giancarlo Giuseppe Alessandro Esposito is best known for his portrayal of Gustavo “Gus” Fring on Breaking Bad. He plays complacently calm, cool, collected, and cut-throat Gustavo Fring, a drug distributor for the Mexican cartel who hides in plain sight as the owner of a popular deep-fried chicken food chain and town socialite.
