Over the weekend, as Chelsea and Man U won, a young Kenyan guy also won big. Winning comes with inner joy that words can’t describe. It is a fulfilling feeling to be called a winner, a champion. Nothing beats being crowned the best of the best…nothing!

Infinix mobile was recognizing and awarding, people who have been exceptionally good at what they do. Individuals who are passionate and very skillful, in their worlds.

One of the biggest winners of the day was Evans Bett, a 22 year old, Social Media Influencer, currently working at Radio Africa, as a Digital Executive at Kiss FM.

Bett is known for driving conversations on social media, like #MusicMatters254 whose main aim is to seek to out faults and solutions to better the local music industry. We really need a remedy to reclaim our lost glory musically speaking, compared to other players in the region.A decade ago Kenya was the mother in this music business, truth be said,things are taking shape,with the return of some of the big names back then. Anyway…

Bett, is on the right pedestal to being the next big thing when it comes to digital marketing, his current placement at KISS FM, is evidence enough.

#IAMBETT as he’s famously known received the Most Supportive Twitter Influencer Award. The award was presented by the Infinix Mobility (Kenya) Country Manager, Mr. Carter Tang at the Infinixer Festival (2nd) on Sat. 17th Dec 2016, Impala Grounds.

 

Bett studied Linguistics, Media and Communication at Moi University and he has been working with top brands like Infinix from 2015, for Brand Endorsements, Product Activations and Social Media Marketing.There is no limit to what this gentleman can achieve/will be, in the next few years, right?
