Plot Thickens: Gospel Singer Papa Dennis Accuses Ringtone of Being a Liar. Adduces Evidence

Yesterday, fast-rising Gospel singer who collaborated with Jimmy Gait in his song, ‘Makekes’ decided to respond to Ringtone after he condemned the video for being a little below par despite Jimmy asserting that it is a game changer.

However, Ringtone dismissed him (Papa Dennis) saying, “Mimi simjui huyo. Siko level yake.” This statement by the ‘Mziki Ni Dawa’ hit-maker seems to have stirred the beehive as the young singer has come out protesting.

He says, “God created us equally so Ringtone should not be condescending.”

“He says he can’t remember me yet he was there that day I was discovered by Maliza Umaskini. He might have seen me in flip flops that day but God has lifted me to this level and I can now stand before people,” adds Papa Dennis.

The singer who boasts of a band even produced photos from the event where Ringtone was the performing guest artist and even had a word with him. Here are those photos;

Papa Dennis remarks, “Niko ready kusaidia Ringtone anijue kama hanikumbuki.” He concludes by thanking Jimmy Gait for doing the collabo with him; a song whose video allegedly cost 2.5 million through a joint sponsorship of Maliza Umaskini and Make It or Make It.

Reached for a comment, Ringtone says, “Ukweli mimi simkumbuki na kama inasound vibaya, pole sana”, adding, “The only artist I remember from Maliza Umaskini ni Mjukuu. Mimi nilimwona tu kwa video.”

Regarding the issue of support Ringtone replies, “I’ll pray for him akue mkubwa. He’s still young and has a long way to go so atulie tu. Time yake inacome. Plus, I can sponsor his next video. Ntaongea na Sadat to see if we can work on that.”

Ringtone makes it clear that he doesn’t have any beef with neither Papa Dennis nor Jimmy Gait and that he just highlighted an issue which was being spoken of by everyone.
